Flat fabric Christmas tree. A simple pattern: a Christmas tree made of felt and fabric. Scandinavian white Christmas tree from Ikea narrow curtains

If you have an extra piece of fabric and a little free time, I suggest making such a New Year’s beauty to decorate your own interior or to please someone close to you with a soft and cute gift

The pattern for the Christmas tree was easily found on the Internet. She looks like this:

Naturally, its change and transformation is not prohibited.

Let's go.

We cut out 4 identical parts (you can, of course, have six if you want the tree to have more branches)

We sew 2 parts together, placing them face to face. Don't forget to leave holes at the bottom for stuffing.

For better turnability, we cut the fabric closer to the seam at the protruding corners.

And we make notches on the inner corners

Turn it right side out

Use a needle to carefully straighten the corners

We put the parts together and stitch in the center from the very bottom to the top

It turns out to be such a flat Christmas tree

So, of course, that’s okay too, but it’s still better to fill

After stuffing, sew up the holes with a hidden stitch.

For stability, I slightly pulled the bottom of the central seam (if you cut exactly according to the pattern, then you are great and you don’t need to do this)

All. We admire the result))

Fabric. We are preparing for the new year! Master Class

On New Year's Eve, many people want to decorate their workplace and home with something unusual and original. Handmade things always lift your spirits and create a creative atmosphere.

I suggest you make an interesting textile Christmas tree from fabric of two contrasting colors. “Plant” it in a small decorative pot, and a real New Year’s tree will live on your table! Like this:

We will need:

fabric of two colors

scissors, thread, needle

fibertek for stuffing

pencil

straw “ribbons” for decoration.

In my work, I suggest using this pattern:

We begin to assemble the structure. To do this, having folded the parts with the front side inward, we first sew the first pair of parts of the same color along the “needles” line, that is, along the outer jagged contour.

We sequentially assemble the structure of the Christmas tree, sewing its edges along the straight sides, alternating parts of different colors. It is important that all parts are folded right side inward.

At the base of the future Christmas tree we leave a small hole unsewn, through which we will fill it with fibertek. Turn the structure right side out and stuff it tightly.

Carefully sew the Christmas tree at the base, leaving a small hole equal in diameter to the cross section of a pencil.

We sew the Christmas tree lengthwise through two planes that conventionally intersect perpendicularly (as shown in the photo) to give it the desired shape.

OPTION 2

You can make a very original Christmas tree with your own hands from pine cones. But we will not use the whole cones, but will use only their scales so that the tree is not too bulky.

So, first, let's separate its scales from the cone. This can be done with a sharp knife, wire cutters or pruning shears.

2.

3.

The next step is to make a cone from thick paper or cardboard, which will be the base of our Christmas tree. We roll the paper into a cone, glue it on the sides and cut off the excess at the base.

Then we simply take the scales in our hands and glue them in a circle, starting from the base of the cone.

You can glue each new row in a checkerboard pattern, or, like here, on top of each other.

You can glue a spice like cloves to the very top of your head)

9.
After the glue has dried, you can start painting our beauty. To do this, you can use spray paint or regular acrylic paint. If you choose acrylic paint with a metallic effect, your Christmas tree will look much more impressive.

10.
Then we cover the ends of the “twigs” with PVA glue and sprinkle glitter on them.

11.

Using exactly the same principle, you can decorate the cone with chains and beads, decorative cords, ribbons, braid, etc.

Handmade New Year's toys are always something special. They bring warmth and homeliness and are certainly an interesting gift. In addition, they are always original and will undoubtedly attract the attention of all guests.

At the same time, do New Year's toys It’s not at all difficult to do it yourself. Let's start with these Christmas trees :)

To begin, we will cut out blanks for future Christmas trees from thick cardboard (my Christmas trees are 12 cm high and 9 cm wide). I use kraft cardboard for this - it is thick enough to withstand a wide variety of manipulations, and also pleasant to look at.

Option 1. Lace plus paper. Production time 15 minutes.

Using a sewing machine, sew cotton lace to the bottom edge of the Christmas tree. In order not to make a mistake with the length of a piece of lace, I first sew it on and then cut it off.

We retreat from the sewn edge a distance of about one and a half times greater than the width of the lace, and sew on the next frill. To prevent the lace from creeping up or down during the sewing process, I make a mark with a pencil where I need to arrive.

In the same way we sew all the frills onto the Christmas tree.

From scrapbooking paper we cut out pieces one and a half times wider than the width of the lace, one of the long edges of which is made into lace using a hole punch or curly scissors.

Carefully glue the strips under the lace, and sew them on a machine if desired.

We make the top like this.

We cut off the excess paper. As a result, we get a Christmas tree like this. You can apply glitter, snow flakes, glue pearls on it - in general, decorate it to your liking.

The reverse looks like this, but that doesn’t bother us for now :), we’ll deal with it a little later.

Variants of the same Christmas tree: instead of paper lace, you can use any ribbons sewn in the same way as lace; or decorative ribbons with roses

Option 2. Lace plus mini buttons. Production time 15 minutes.

We start in the same way as in the first option - sew on the lace.

We wait 1-2 minutes for the glue to “set” a little, after which we glue mini-buttons onto it in a chaotic manner.

In general, I am a big fan of sewn buttons, but in this case my hand trembled :), and I decided to put the needle and thread aside and use a simpler and faster method.

Other variations on the same theme: instead of mini-buttons - any ordinary buttons or rhinestones or pearls or small paper roses.

OPTION 6

OPTION 7

A simpler version of a Christmas tree made from ribbons is to simply attach a ribbon folded in half to the base. Moreover, you can attach both satin and paper ribbons (paper for scrapbooking).

OPTION 8

OPTION 9

New Year- these are not only gifts and a lot of all sorts of goodies. On the eve of the holiday, you can give your child the joy of creativity and self-expression. Admiring an already “decorated” Christmas tree is, of course, great, but it’s much more interesting to make decorations with my own hands and watch how the house gradually turns into a fabulous New Year's forest! What would a forest be like without a Christmas tree? We invite you to make an amazing New Year tree, which will be an excellent holiday decoration for your home.

To work we need thick green paper, glue, scissors, a round wooden stick and a bead.

1. Cut out 3-4 circles of different diameters from thick green paper. We fold each circle in half four times and draw it along the fold line several times with a hard object. Using scissors, cut a small piece from the top of each folded circle.

2. Take a wooden stick and place the smallest circle on it. The tip of the stick should protrude no more than 5 mm. Carefully place the remaining circles through the bottom of the stick. Lubricate the hole in the top of the largest circle with glue and attach the circle to the stick with glue. This is how we fix our entire structure.

3. Now our Christmas tree can be attached to the base. For example, a wine cork. We put a bead on the top of the Christmas tree, where we left a gap of 5 mm. Our Christmas tree is ready!

OPTION 10

DIY New Year's toy - “coffee tree”

It often happens that the holidays are just around the corner, but you still aren’t in a festive mood. And I really want, like in childhood, to wait for the arrival of the New Year, miracles, gifts and the fulfillment of desires. From my own experience, I can say that mood is born from little things and often comes in the creative process. To feel the coming holidays, you can decorate your apartment for the New Year, start cooking or making something special. For example, a fragrant Christmas tree made of fabric and coffee. Why not? Moreover, you need few materials for this wonderful New Year tree.

Materials for creating a DIY coffee tree:
sheet of cardboard small jar, for example, from under baby food coffee beans a small piece of fabric or burlap varnish (you can do without coating) Almost everyone also has the tools necessary for the work.

Tools for making a Christmas tree from coffee beans and fabric:
tweezers compasses glue (it is very convenient to use a hot glue gun) brush scissors needle and thread We do not indicate the sizes and quantities, since it all depends on what materials you use, as well as on the expected size of the Christmas tree. The process of creating this tree is simple and exciting. You can turn on some favorite New Year's movie in the background, and you will immediately feel that the New Year is already very close, and miracles are knocking on your door.

Making a coffee tree with your own hands
We make a cone from cardboard or thick paper. If you need a larger Christmas tree, you can use leftover wallpaper for the base. We glue the cone well around the edges. We put it on the table, check that it should be stable and tight.

We select a suitable size jar with a screw-on lid for the base.

Glue coffee beans onto the jar. The grains need to be glued on the same side, so the jar will look neater. It is convenient to take the grains with tweezers to protect your fingers from glue and burns (if you use a hot glue gun).

When the coffee beans are securely attached to the can, we proceed to the second layer, which we use to close any possible cracks and gaps between the beans.

The result should be a jar that looks like it consists of coffee beans. Only the neck is not covered so that the jar can be closed with a lid. The grains on the jar can be varnished. Then the leg of the tree will be smoother and glossier, but this will reduce the coffee aroma.

Let's get to the Christmas tree itself. If the size of the Christmas tree is large, and the frame (cardboard cone) does not seem rigid and stable enough, then it can be strengthened by simply filling it with something from the inside. This could be paper, napkins, fabric, etc. We cut the fabric or burlap for the external decoration of the Christmas tree to the size of the cone.

Glue the fabric to the cone, stretching and smoothing it.

Cover the bottom with a circle of cardboard.

We also cover the circle with cloth.

We will decorate the Christmas tree with patches. To do this, cut out identical small squares from fabric.

We remove several threads along the edges of the squares to form a neat fringe.

We glue the patches to the fabric on the cone. Glue coffee beans to the corners of each patch. This way we decorate the entire cone.

8.

Now that the cone and jar are ready, let's move on to the lid of the jar. It must be decorated and glued to the bottom of the cone. If desired, it can be decorated with coffee beans (gluing the edges with them) or fabric (we will dwell on this method in more detail). Cut a thin strip from the fabric. Using a needle and thread, we form equal folds on a strip of fabric, and then glue the fabric to the lid.

All that's left is to glue the lid to the bottom of the cone.

New Year's decoration is ready! It can also serve as a nice gift, either on its own or as a jar of coffee. New Year's decoration Festive mood and miracles to you!

AND A FEW CREATIVE IDEAS:

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION!!!

The Christmas tree is an invariable attribute of the New Year. But what if you're against using live trees? Or can’t afford to put up a prickly Christmas tree for some other reason (small children, curious animals...)?

Do you know that a New Year's beauty can be made from... anything. Unlike their natural counterparts, such trees look equally good both on the first day and a week later. And you won’t have to sweep up the falling needles.

In this issue for lovers of DIY creativity, we have included 3 master classes that will teach you how to make such completely non-thorny Christmas trees. Meet fabric Christmas trees:

  • sophisticated white “diva” (from Ikea narrow curtains);
  • as cozy as a pillow (made of burlap and padding polyester);
  • similar to a fashionista's winter wardrobe (made of plaid fabric).

Turn into a New Year's couturier and sew a Christmas tree with your own hands! And we will tell you in detail how to do this.

Scandinavian white Christmas tree from Ikea narrow curtains

Perhaps the easiest option to implement. Creating such a Christmas tree does not require much time, and all materials can be easily found at IKEA. In addition, it is very simple to make - some steps can be entrusted even to children.

Just imagine what a wonderful holiday ritual it is - not just decorating the Christmas tree with the whole family, but doing it together!

Materials and tools:
two white narrow curtains from IKEA (=sheets for Japanese curtains, width 60 cm, height 250 cm) + one bottom rail for each, Snömys curtain decorations (IKEA), silver glossy cardboard (or regular cardboard + silver film with reverse adhesive layer), scissors, rope, ruler, pencil.

How to make a white Scandinavian Christmas tree from fabric with your own hands:

1. Lay the curtains on the floor, secure the bottom rail to each. Then measure the middle at the top and mark it with a pencil. From this mark, draw two diagonal lines to the corners and cut the curtain. You should get a triangle and two “tails” (you can immediately remove the tails). Repeat the same for the other curtain, using the first piece as a stencil.

2. Fold the first piece in half (crosswise). From the middle, make a cut down towards the tire. But don’t cut all the way through - otherwise the Christmas tree won’t stick.

3. Repeat the same for the second workpiece, only in reverse - cut from the middle to the top. Unlike the previous one, you need to cut to the edge (to get a triangle with two “tails”).

4. Insert the blanks one into the other, as shown in the photo. You should get a Christmas tree with a cross at the bottom - it will hold the lower part.

5. Now all that remains is to secure the tree to the ceiling. Attach a hook for hanging. Then tie the free ends of the curtains (the same “tails” from the third point) with a rope that you will use to hang them. Make sure that the knot is strong enough and the New Year's beauty will not fall apart.

6. As you know, the Christmas tree should have a beautiful top. This design won't allow you to secure a traditional star, but the top doesn't have to be bare. To decorate it and at the same time hide the knots, make a cone out of silver-plated cardboard. Thread one end of the rope into the hole and secure it to the ceiling.

7. Hang up the decorations and invite your guests to admire the original Christmas tree self made!

Volumetric soft Christmas tree filled with padding polyester or cotton wool

Let's play associations: Stuffed Toys, Christmas tree decorations, soft Christmas tree... “What kind of soft Christmas tree?” - you ask. - “There are no such things, all Christmas trees are prickly.”

But that's not all! We invite you to combine the incompatible and make a soft Christmas tree with your own hands. Hand-made lovers will certainly appreciate such an original decoration. And parents of little ones and owners of furry researchers will certainly appreciate its safety.

Materials and tools:
1.5 m of fabric, 1.5 m of padding polyester or thick cotton wool for filling, paper, a small piece of tree trunk (we will call it a “stump” here), sewing machine, needle, thread, scissors, pencil and measuring tape.

How to make a soft fabric Christmas tree with your own hands:

1. Cut out a Christmas tree stencil of the desired size from paper and place it on the wrong side of the fabric. The author got it to be approximately 120 x 70 cm.

2. Trace with a pencil, leaving 5 cm for margin. Cut out, then repeat for the second piece, using the first as a stencil.

3. Sew, leaving a hole of about 50 cm in the middle at the bottom for stuffing. Turn it right out.

4. Now it's time for padding polyester (or cotton wool). Cut out the desired piece from it using a stencil and fill the Christmas tree.

5. And, of course, the tree must have a trunk. Insert the “stump” into the hole, sew, and secure with glue if necessary.

6. The Christmas tree, soft as a pillow, is ready! How to decorate it is a matter of your imagination. The same soft handmade Christmas tree toys are ideal, but any others will do.

Checkered Christmas tree with British chic

Surely you are familiar with the famous British tartan fabrics, which have become the standard of good taste - in the wardrobe and in the interior. You can use them not only to make a blanket or pillows, but also the main New Year's decoration.

Yes, we are talking about a Christmas tree. Of course, this option is not as simple as the previous ones. But, believe me, the result will certainly satisfy even the most demanding taste!

Materials and tools:
plaid fabric, hanger with crossbar (as in the photo), curtain rings, non-woven fabric, red braid, paper, sewing machine, measuring tape, scissors, pencil.

How to make a Christmas tree from checkered fabric with your own hands:

1. Cut out two identical Christmas tree stencils from paper. Place them on the wrong side of the fabric and trace along the contour with an allowance of 2 cm. Cut out.

2. The same Christmas tree, but without allowance, needs to be cut out of non-woven fabric. Attach to the first piece of fabric, iron to secure.

3. Fold the blanks with the front parts facing each other (the outside will be the wrong side and the non-woven layer). Baste with threads without touching the base (otherwise you won’t be able to turn the fabric out later).

4. Machine sew (again, without touching the hole). Turn it right side out, iron it and sew it completely (we no longer need this hole).

5. All that remains is to hang our tree. To do this, sew loops to each of the branches and insert curtain rings there. And then, using braid, beautifully secure the Christmas tree to the stand. Decorate to your taste, but without excess.

Creative Christmas trees are good because they are unusual, they can be created from a variety of materials, and edible trees will become a decoration and the main highlight of the New Year's table.

How to make a Christmas tree from plastic bottles?

To make such a fluffy beauty, take:
  • green plastic bottles;
  • scissors;
  • scotch;
  • a wooden stick, the diameter of which is slightly smaller than the hole in the neck of the bottle.
Prepare containers by removing labels and washing them. For each bottle you need to cut off the neck and bottom, cut the rest into several rectangles, chop them into strips, but not completely.

Trim the shoulders of the bottle, leaving only the neck. You will put a wooden stick into it. Starting from the bottom, attach the blanks from the bottle here so that the fringe points up.

We decorate the entire trunk, and attach a small part on top, which will become the top.

The blanks must be fastened in such a way that the largest ones are at the bottom and the smallest at the top.

Here's what else a Christmas tree made from plastic bottles can be like. Making one with your own hands is also quite simple.

To reproduce this masterpiece, take:
  • green plastic bottles;
  • scissors;
  • a wooden stick of a suitable size.
Remove the labels from the bottles and proceed with the blanks as follows: cut off the bottom, cut the remaining part into 10 identical strips, almost reaching the shoulders of the bottle.

Now you need to make diagonal cuts on sides 1 and 2 of each tape. Fold the resulting fragments over one another.

Take the bottom of a large bottle, make a hole in it, insert the neck of the bottle into it, into which a wooden stick is inserted. Secure this part of the structure with a cork by screwing it onto the neck.

Place pre-made parts on the stick, starting with the largest bottle and ending with the smallest one.

If you threaded all the parts onto the barrel with the neck down, then place the last one with the neck up. Secure the tree by placing a lid on the top of the tree.

The result was a wonderful tall tree made from plastic bottles. From this container you can make an even larger tree by placing the bottles, for example, on a mop.

If you want to make a cone-shaped tree, then roll a piece of paper or cardboard in this way. Cut off the neck of the bottle and insert a paper blank here. Cut trapezoidal fragments from other parts of the container. Chop the longest edges of each piece into equal strips, not reaching the top 2 cm.

Secure these elements with tape, arranging them in ascending order, starting with large and ending with small.

This is what should happen in the end.

If, for example, you work in a grocery store, then you can put up a large Christmas tree made from plastic bottles, which will certainly attract customers. To do this, you need to arrange the bottles in a circle in rows, and place plywood circles on them. Each subsequent tier is smaller than the diameter of the previous one. There should be 3 bottles left closer to the top; place a star on top.

Even empty plastic bottles will become an excellent decorative element. You can backlight it so that the trees sparkle attractively at dusk.

Other waste materials will also become a picturesque Christmas tree.

Making a Christmas tree out of paper with your own hands - master class

Once magazines are read, they are usually thrown away. But you can do it differently, make a paper tree. To create it, you can use newspapers and old books.

Here is a list of what is needed:
  • a sheet of cardboard or whatman paper;
  • colorful magazine;
  • shaped hole punch;
  • glue gun or PVA;
  • pencil.
First you need to roll the cardboard into a cone and glue it to fix it in this position. Prepare decorative elements. To do this, cut them out from a magazine or book using zigzag scissors or a hole punch.

These parts need to be given a rounded shape. To do this, screw each one onto a pencil. Now you can glue them to the base, starting from the bottom.

Place the pieces as close to each other as possible so that the cardboard is not visible between them. Glue in rows, placing the elements on top of each other. Wrap one of them around the top of your head. The paper Christmas tree is ready.

If you like clean lines, then check out the next option.

This tree would be appropriate in an office. On the one hand, it has a strict shape, and on the other, it looks festive. Here's what you need for this craft:
  • whatman;
  • double tape;
  • wrapping;
  • regular tape;
  • decorations;
  • scissors.
Instead of whatman paper, you can use thin cardboard. If you don't have a large enough piece, then you can create one from small ones using tape.

Roll this base into a ball and secure with tape.

The excess needs to be cut off.

Wrap the cone with wrapping paper. To do this, place it on a work surface, place a cardboard blank on top, and secure it with tape at the top of the head.

Wrap the cone completely, then secure the edges of the paper with double tape and trim off the excess.

The lower part of the tree must also be made flat by removing the paper here with scissors. Decorate the Christmas tree with a star, ribbons, you can decorate it with candies or beads.

Here's what else a paper Christmas tree can be like.

Take:
  • skewer;
  • designer paper or colored cardboard;
  • thick cardboard;
  • glue or glue gun.
Draw a square on thick cardboard, cut it out and glue it to a skewer. Cut out circles of the same size first. Make holes in them and place them on a skewer pre-lubricated with glue. Then make several slightly smaller circles. The tree trunk itself is also decorated. Gradually cut out smaller and smaller circles and put them on the trunk.

Here's what kind of paper Christmas tree you can make using polystyrene foam.

For creativity you will need:
  • foam or cardboard;
  • green corrugated paper;
  • scissors;
  • adhesive tape;
  • masking tape;
  • marker;
  • PVA glue;
  • hook;
  • stationery knife.
Draw an acute angle on the foam or cardboard. If this is difficult to do, then follow the photo tips. First draw a vertical line, then two horizontal ones, after which you will have an even angle. If you want to make a large Christmas tree, then simply glue several fragments together with tape.

Cut the strip corrugated paper, chop it with scissors in the form of a fringe, slightly short of reaching the opposite edge. Start gluing these decorated ribbons from the bottom.

When the entire creative tree is decorated in this way, decorate it as you wish. Glue a rectangle of cardboard from the bottom, after painting it brown. But you can do without this part of the trunk. To attach the tree to the wall, use a hook or double tape.

This is what a wonderful Christmas tree came out of paper. Textile models are very interesting; for them you can use leftover material.

Christmas tree made of fabric and threads

To make such a stylish beauty, take:
  • felt;
  • cardboard;
  • scissors;
  • double tape or glue.

It is better to take material in two shades, then the creative Christmas tree will look more contrasting.

Roll the cardboard into a cone. You can wrap the bottom part with a small amount of tinsel. Cut felt circles and use scissors to make intersecting sections in the middle. They are needed in order to put the felt blanks on the base, which is what you will do. These X-shaped cuts will also help the circles become wavy.

First put on the larger blanks, then the medium ones, the smallest ones will be on top. When you fill the entire cone, all that remains is to decorate your creation and admire how beautiful tree from the fabric you made.

You can also make a very cute tree from threads.

To make this, take:
  • a cone made of foam plastic or cardboard;
  • fleecy yarn;
  • pins;
  • decorations;
  • thick yarn.
If you don't have a foam cone, then roll one out of cardboard. To make the work progress faster, make turns with two threads at once. Attach them to the base with pins.

When you have formed the entire cone, do not cut these two threads, but now wrap them around the base, moving down.

Cut the thread and secure the remaining end with a pin. Decorate the Christmas tree with beads or buttons, and also attach them with a pin or sewing.

The next creative DIY Christmas tree is made from wire and thread. Help yourself with pliers or round nose pliers, bend a piece of wire so that it looks like a star. Attach a thinner wire to it, which must first be rolled into a cone. Wrap it with threads. You can simply make such a star out of wire and attach it to the top of the blue Christmas tree you just created.

Your New Year's table will look amazing if you decorate it with edible Christmas trees. Look how wonderful this strawberry tree looks.

You can make a chocolate base and attach the berries to it with the point outward using a toothpick.

Here are some other original trees you can create from products.

Edible Christmas tree: step-by-step preparation

To make one, take:
  • wooden skewer;
  • apple;
  • cucumbers;
  • red and yellow sweet peppers;
  • plate.
You can use wooden skewers or one half of a chopstick.

Place the apple half cut side down on a platter or plate. Stick a skewer into it. Chop the cucumber into not too thin slices.

Place these slices on a skewer, starting with the largest one. Arrange them in a checkerboard pattern or approximately so that they look like Christmas tree branches.

Cut small pieces from red and yellow peppers. Place them on some cucumbers or secure them with toothpicks. Thread an elongated piece of pepper onto the top of the head, closing the skewer on top.

You can decorate a New Year's dish with this tree, for example, a salad. Place a little parsley along the edge of the plate, which will symbolize green grass.

The next tree consists of fruits, berries and vegetables. Take:

  • large carrots;
  • apple;
  • kiwi;
  • strawberries;
  • toothpicks;
  • grape;
  • greenery;
  • hole for removing the core from apples.

Wash the apple. Use a special tool to remove the middle from one side. On the other side, make an even cut so that the apple stands firmly on the plate.

Place the carrot in the hole. Stick toothpicks into it. Thread kiwi halves, strawberries and grapes onto them. The star can be cut from a suitable fruit or vegetable, or from a thick piece of cheese. Decorate a plate with greenery to make the tree look even more picturesque.

The next tree is made from apples. To prevent them from darkening, the cut slices should be dipped in a solution of lemon juice for 15 minutes.

First you need to cut out the middle of the apples, then chop these fruits into circles. Using a knife or a special notch, give these blanks a star shape. Place it on a plate and place a slightly smaller piece on top. Adhering to this tactic, lay the Christmas tree to the end. Decorate it with cranberries and physalis.

If you are making a New Year's salad, lay it out in a cone-shaped mound and compact it. Slice the leek leaves to resemble sharp angles. Stick the resulting decorations into the salad so that the leaves turn into twigs. Decorate the Christmas tree with finely chopped carrots.

If you don't have leeks, then you can garnish the salad with dill. Look at the photos to see how to arrange the branches, starting from the bottom.

A creative Christmas tree can be made from many other products.

Cut the cheese into sharp triangles, thread them onto a pre-attached skewer, and garnish with a slice of red pepper. Decorate the plate with tomato and kiwi slices.

If you have green pepper, turn its slices into lush spruce branches and make a New Year's tree from this edible material. Circles and slices of lemon or grapefruit will also become a picturesque decoration for the New Year's table.

If you use kiwi for this, use unripe ones so that the circles stick tightly to the base.

Meat lovers will also not be left at a loss. After all, an edible Christmas tree can be created from salami slices.

Place them on a skewer attached to half an apple and drape the top. Decorate the plate with greenery, and the masterpiece can be placed on the New Year's table.

Vegetarians and connoisseurs proper nutrition They will be able to make a Christmas tree out of broccoli, decorate it with cherry tomatoes, and make a star out of sweet peppers. Asparagus stalks will turn into a tree trunk, and cauliflower will turn into white snowdrifts.

The basis of the next Christmas tree is a salad, but it is better to take one whose ingredients can be held together well. A dish that contains boiled rice is perfect. We decorate the base with green lettuce leaves, then you need to decorate this edible Christmas tree with peeled shrimp and cherry tomatoes.

If you like Asian cuisine, make the rolls with added greens so that the base has that shade. If they come with caviar, then this ingredient will also act as a decoration. Fold the rolls as shown in the photo to create a comfortable Christmas tree.

Those with a sweet tooth can decorate the base made of polystyrene or foam rubber with candies, attaching them with toothpicks. And if your family likes to eat well, then use small sausages, slices of sausage, tomatoes and lettuce on the base. You can also add other edible ingredients here, thereby delighting those who love a hearty meal.

Gourmets will surely love the horizontal Christmas tree made from tomatoes and different types of cheese - great opportunity and a reason to try them.

If you like a tree made of candies, attach them to plastic bottle using tape. And if you don’t know what to give an adult as a New Year’s gift, then use a bottle of champagne as a base, decorating it in this way. Give this present.

If you like to bake, make gingerbread or shortbread dough, roll it out, cut out stars using special notches or just a knife. All that remains is to decorate the baked sweets with white icing and place them on top of each other.

On the New Year's table, even pizza will create the right mood. To do this, when rolling out the dough, cut out a Christmas tree from it, decorate with cherry tomatoes, olives and slices of smoked sausage or chicken pieces. Sprinkle your masterpiece with a little cheese and bake in the oven.

If you have a round pizza, then cut it into triangles, insert an edible straw on the round side, you will get fun portioned Christmas trees.

These are the creative Christmas trees you can create with your own hands. There are other ideas, we suggest you familiarize yourself with them and cheer yourself up.

Christmas tree made from plastic spoons

And the first master class will be devoted to creating an unusual Christmas tree from plastic spoons. Quite creative and also a quick way to create bright New Year's decoration. To work, prepare paper as thick as possible (the base will be made from it), plastic spoons, glue (it’s better if you use a glue gun), and also a spray of any color you like.

Manufacturing process

First you need to make a base. You should take whatman paper or thick cardboard and draw a circle on it. Its diameter will be equal to the height of the future tree, so the size of the circle depends entirely on your preferences. Cut out a quarter of the circle and make a cone from the remaining piece. Its edges should be secured with glue or double-sided tape. Keep one thing in mind: if you use double-sided tape, it should not go to the front side, because... subsequently, plastic spoons will not stick to this area.

Next, start preparing spoons for the Christmas tree. Cut the handles to the base as shown in the photo. In the store you can find spoons of different sizes. You need to choose ones that perfectly fit the size of your future New Year's decor. The number of plastic spoons also depends on the size of the base.

When you are finished preparing all parts of the tree, start painting them. To make the work more convenient, first paint all the spoons on the back side, as shown in the second photo. Thanks to this, you can practice, see how the paint falls on the surface or experiment with colors, because... the front part will be visible on the tree; the spoons are attached to the base with the back side.

After painting the back side, wait for it to dry completely and paint the spoons on the other side. When all the parts are dry, they need to be secured to a paper base using a glue gun (you can use “Moment”).

The Christmas tree should be filled by gluing all the spoons in separate rows. Start doing this work from the bottom, as illustrated in the photo. By following these recommendations, you will be able to create a very unusual Christmas tree that will become a real decoration for your holiday. In a similar way, you can make Christmas trees from tinsel or New Year's balls. For an example of what beauties you can get, look at the photo.

Christmas tree making process

To make a Christmas tree from threads, prepare a mixture of water and starch or corn flour. Mix flour with cool water in a 1:1 ratio (2 tsp each), pour the mixture with 1 tbsp. boiling water and put on fire, cook it, stirring constantly. Gradually the mixture will thicken, you need to achieve the consistency of the sauce, an approximate result can be seen in the first illustration.

Let the solution cool and proceed to the second stage. Make a base cone. Cut out a circle from paper, remove a fourth of it and glue the edges of the cone. To prevent it from getting wet, wrap the paper cone in cling film, tucking all the edges inside.

You, of course, can use PVA glue in your work instead of the mixture, but in this case you need to carefully lubricate the paper base with greasy cream or Vaseline. Otherwise, the cone will be quite difficult to remove from the structure.

Now soak the thread in the resulting solution, it is important here to ensure that it does not get tangled. It will be most convenient to wind the thread around your fingers or wrist. Once your thread is completely soaked, remove all excess mixture, but do not twist it.

Start wrapping the base. Initially, secure the tip well as illustrated in the photo. Next, wrap the thread according to your personal wishes: up, down, more tightly or not. Upon completion of this work, the Christmas tree should be left in a warm room overnight so that the product can dry completely

Now you can take out the cone. The first step is to remove the paper structure, and only after that remove the film. Be extremely careful because... the structure is very fragile.
