DIY paper Christmas tree. Christmas tree made from scraps of magazine pages.

You will need:

Unnecessary magazine or book with bright drawings

Cardboard or thick sheet of paper

Glue gun or PVA glue

Shaped hole punch, optional

Pencil or pen

1. Make a cone out of a thick sheet of paper and secure it with glue.

2. Prepare pages from a magazine with bright pictures and cut out many circles of the same diameter from them. If you have a shaped hole punch (shaped like a flower or a large circle) it will be easier.

3. Wrap the cut circles around a pencil so that they curl a little.

4. Starting from the bottom of the cone, begin gluing the folded circles.

Make neat rows. The circles should be tightly glued to each other so that the cardboard is not visible.

5. Make a small cone from one circle and glue it to the top of the cardboard cone.

The Christmas tree is ready!

DIY Christmas tree (master class). Christmas trees made of wrapping paper.

You will need:

Large thick sheet of paper

Wrapping

Double tape

Scissors

Decorations

1. Make a cone out of a sheet of thick paper.

* If your wrapping paper is quite thick, you can bypass step 1 and make a cone out of wrapping paper.

1.1 Fold the paper diagonally, holding one end to keep it sharp.

1.2 Secure the paper rolled into a cone with tape. You don't need to do everything too carefully, since you will cover the cone with wrapping paper.

1.3 Trim off the excess at the bottom of the cone to create a smooth base.

2. Prepare colorful wrapping paper and cover the cone with it. To do this, place the paper on a flat surface with the pattern facing down.

2.1 Using tape, attach the end of the construction paper to the top of the cone.

2.2 Begin to slowly twist the cone while wrapping it in the wrapping paper. You need to wrap the cone tightly.

2.3 Measure the paper and cut it before completely wrapping it around the cone. Glue double tape to the edges and connect to the other end. You need to cut off the excess at the base so that the paper is even.

3. All that remains is to decorate the Christmas tree as desired. You can make paper stars, use glitter, stickers, glue on beads and/or buttons, wrap with ribbon, etc.

DIY fabric Christmas tree. How to make a Christmas tree from felt.

You will need:

Glue or double tape

Scissors

* Try using two colors of felt to make the Christmas tree even more beautiful. In this example, yellow and orange felt was used.

1. Make a cone out of cardboard. Secure the ends with glue or double tape.

2. Prepare felt and cut circles of different diameters from it, from small to large (see picture). You can use pre-prepared circle templates made from cardboard.

3. Glue Christmas tinsel to the bottom of the cone.

4. Now you need to make a crosswise cut in the center of each circle cut out of felt. Do not cut too much to prevent the felt garment from falling off. Make the cut just enough to fit the circle tightly onto the cone.

5. Start gradually putting circles on the cone. If you are using two colors, then put on the circles sequentially, first one color, then the other. Also worth noting. What to put on the next circle is not only on the cone, but also on top of the tips of the cuts of the previous circle.

6. We decorate the top of the Christmas tree. To do this, simply add tinsel, onto which you will need to add a pre-prepared small felt cone. Secure the tinsel and crown with glue.

* If you wish, you can hide a sweet gift inside the cone.

Original DIY Christmas trees. Glowing Christmas tree.

You will need:

Floral mesh (preferably several shades of green)

Scissors

Cardboard for cone

PVA glue

Cellophane

Pins

Garland

Floral wire

Decorations upon request

1. Make a cone out of cardboard.

2. Wrap the cone in cellophane.

3. Take any container and make a solution of PVA glue and a small amount of water in it

3. Prepare a floral mesh. Cut it into small pieces and place each one in a container with the solution.

4. Start gluing the pieces onto the cellophane-covered cone. Glue pieces of mesh of different shades in different directions. The joints should be coated with another layer of glue for a more durable attachment.

5. Secure the entire structure with pins and wait for the glue to dry.

6. You have now created the first layer of the Christmas tree. Now you need to make a second layer in the same style. After gluing the second layer, leave the structure to dry.

7. Now remove the Christmas tree from the cone - the glue should quickly come away from the cellophane.

8. Place a garland inside the tree, which must be secured with floral wire.

9. All that remains is to decorate the Christmas tree to your liking.

DIY Christmas trees (photo). DIY pasta tree.

You will need:

A cone made of plastic or foam (or you can make it yourself from cardboard)

PVA glue

Pasta of various shapes and sizes

Spray paint, acrylic paint or gouache

Brush.

1. Prepare a cone and paint it the desired color. Wait for the paint to dry.

*If you are using spray paint, you can skip this step.

2. Prepare the pasta. Start applying glue to each piece and gluing the pieces to the cone. Design your Christmas tree as your imagination dictates.

After applying the glue, press the piece a little and hold it so that it sticks well to the cone. It's okay if the glue is visible from under the pasta.

Continue until you have covered the cone with pasta. Wait for the glue to dry.

3. Start adding color to the pasta. In this example, acrylic paint was used. Try to paint all the parts carefully so that there are no empty spots.

* It is advisable to paint in two layers.

* If you paint it with white paint, the Christmas tree will look like a porcelain product.

Helpful advice: If you want to remove the craft, then put it in a plastic bag first, so you can immediately find the part that might have come off the cone.

You will need:

Colored cardboard or designer paper

Thick cardboard

Glue moment or glue gun (with hot glue)

1. Cut a square base for the tree from thick cardboard.

2. Insert the skewer into the cardboard and secure with glue.

3. Now you need to cut out circles of different diameters from designer paper or colored cardboard. You need to make 3 circles of the same size.

For example, if you want to make 10 different sizes of circles, then you will need to cut out 30 circles (3 for each size).

*If you don't feel like cutting out a lot of circles, just shorten the skewer and you'll end up with a cute mini Christmas tree.

4. Make a small hole in the center of each circle.

5. Before you start putting the circles on the skewer, lubricate the hole in the middle with glue.

6. Start placing the circles on the skewer, leaving a little space between them.

7. Cut out stars from paper and attach them with glue to the top of the tree. You can use another part for the crown and not necessarily paper.

Crafts. DIY Christmas trees made from thread.

You will need:

Thick yarn

Yarn with pile

Cone (cardboard or foam)

Pins

Decorations, to taste.

1. Make a paper cone or buy a foam cone from specialized stores.

2. Take both strands and pin their ends at the base of the cone.

3. Start wrapping the threads around the base of the cone, securing with pins approximately every 5 cm.

4. Now start moving towards the top of the cone, carefully wrapping both threads around the future tree. At this stage there is no need to attach the thread to the cone.

5. When you have reached the crown, pin the threads again by wrapping the threads around the crown several times.

6. Both yarns now need to be pulled down, also wrapping the cone in a second layer.

7. At the base of the cone, cut the threads and secure them.

You can leave the tree like this or you can also decorate it.

In this example, artificial berries were used for decoration, but you can use colorful beads, snaps, buttons, etc.

Try also making a decoration for the top of your Christmas tree. The top of the head can be decorated the way you like.

You can leave the tree like this, or you can also decorate it.

Sequins

PVA glue

Fine wire (calibrated wire)

1. Bend the wire into a star shape (see pictures) and cut off the excess.

2. Cover the star with glue and sprinkle glitter on it.

3. Attach a thin wire to the star, as shown in the picture:

4. Attach a star to your Christmas tree.

Creative DIY Christmas tree

If you want something original, or you simply don’t have enough space for a large Christmas tree at home, you can try making such a simple design.

It is worth noting that such a Christmas tree is suitable for any room. It can be done both at home with children and at work.

This tree can rise 1.5-2 meters and takes up almost no space in the house. In addition, it is a good background for New Year's photography.

You will need:

Foam base or matte cardboard

Scissors

Corrugated paper

Masking tape

Adhesive tape

PVA glue

Stationery knife

Marker, optional

1. Lay out foam or cardboard on a flat surface to create a large rectangle (see picture).

2. Use duct tape to connect all the parts.

*This example used black duct tape for better visibility, but white tape is better.

3. Mark the size of your future Christmas tree using masking tape.

4. Using a utility knife, carefully cut out the shape of the future tree.

5. Prepare corrugated paper, fold it in half and cut the fringe. You should have many sheets of fringed paper to cover the entire tree.

6. Begin carefully gluing the corrugated paper to the foam, starting at the base of the tree. The fringe should hang slightly below the base to cover the foam (or cardboard), and also slightly cover the top of the tree trunk, which we will make later.

7. Work your way up to the top, covering the entire tree with a bright green coat of crepe paper.

8. Add a hook to the back of the tree so the tree can be hung. Instead of a hook, you can use double tape to cover the perimeter of the tree.

Good evening dear readers! Today you will see the process of creating a Christmas tree from fabric in two versions.

The first version of a fabric Christmas tree:

To create a Christmas tree from fabric you will need:

Green satin fabric + contrasting color fabric for star;

Cone paper;

Pattern;

Thread + needle, scissors;

Decor as desired.

Initially, you need to make a pattern for the Christmas tree from fabric (without taking into account the puffs). Essentially, in this case, the Christmas tree is a cone, so the pattern will have a round base and 4 identical sectors of the cone (photo 1).

Since fabric consumption increases when embroidering with puffs, you need to change the pattern of the side surface of the Christmas tree. In this case, “scale” buffs were used. In this case, the flow rate increases approximately twice horizontally and one and a half times in height.

The new pattern for the side surface of the Christmas tree will look like in photo 2.

Next, mark the puffs according to the diagram. This is very convenient to do on graph paper (photo 3). The pattern is ready - start sewing. Cut out 4 side elements and one base piece from fabric. Satin or other shiny fabric is perfect, on which the puffs will look more impressive (photo 4).

The next stage is quite important - to show precision and accuracy. Transfer the puff pattern onto the fabric. The parts are not very large - proceed as follows: place the pattern with the puff pattern on the front side of the part. Next, pin the pattern to the fabric using pins so that each pin goes through two points on the pattern. Here it is important to ensure that the puncture in the fabric is located exactly under the puncture in the pattern (photo 5). This is how it will look from the inside out (photo 6). Next, mark all the points with chalk where the pin will pierce the fabric (photo 7). After which the pins can be removed. Connect the dots on the fabric with chalk, as in the puff pattern. To avoid getting confused when embroidering (photo 8).

When these steps have been completed with all 4 parts, proceed directly to sewing. Insert the needle into the first point (in one of the outer triangles) and secure the thread.

Then insert the needle into the second point of the triangle (photo 9) and into the third (photo 10). Then tighten the thread. After this, insert the needle again into the first point and secure the thread with one turn around the needle (photo 11). After this, you can proceed to making the next triangle. The thread between the two triangles should lie freely, so tie it again at the first point (photo 12).

To be able to further work with the part, process its edge. To do this, simply fold the excess fabric into the folds and secure them close to the edge of the piece (so that the threads with which you secured the folds are not visible after assembly from the front side of the entire product). As a result, the part will look like in photo 15. Do the same with the other three parts (photo 16).

Cut off the excess allowances, cut them at the base and at the top of the tree (so that after turning out nothing will puff up) (photo 19).

Turn it inside out, stuff it with synthetic down and sew up the hole (photo 20). After that, decorate the Christmas tree to your liking. You can use large beads, some beads and glass beads (photo 21).

The final touch will be the star at the top of the tree. Draw it on the fabric and cut out a rectangle twice as large as needed for one piece (to then fold in half) (photo 22).

Fold in half, pin and sew, leaving an opening for turning inside out. After everything is sewn, cut off the excess fabric and cut the allowances in the corners between the rays (photo 23).

Turn the star inside out, lightly stuff it with synthetic down and sew up the hole. Since synthetic satin was used in this case, simplify your task and do not fold the seam allowances inward, but singe a section of the fabric and lay a seam along the face (photo 24).

Using the same thread, sew a star to the top of the tree. Ready!

The second version of a fabric Christmas tree:

This is the simplest option. You can sew such a Christmas tree from fabric and install it on the trunk.

To make a fabric Christmas tree you will need:

Plain or multi-colored fabric;

Christmas tree pattern;

Filler (sintepon/holofiber);

Ribbons;

Beads.

Fabric Christmas tree step by step:

Fold the fabric facing inward, draw three elements of the “Christmas tree” according to the pattern, sew, not forgetting to leave two holes on each element. Turn it inside out, fold the three pieces together and sew. Fill tightly with filling and sew all holes closed with a blind stitch. Decorate the Christmas tree with a star and Christmas balls.

If you have an extra piece of fabric and a little free time, I suggest making such a New Year’s beauty to decorate your own interior or to please someone close to you with a soft and cute gift

The pattern for the Christmas tree was easily found on the Internet. It looks like this:

Naturally, its change and transformation is not prohibited.

Let's go.

We cut out 4 identical parts (you can, of course, have six if you want the tree to have more branches)

We sew 2 parts together, placing them face to face. Don't forget to leave holes at the bottom for stuffing.

For better turnability, we cut the fabric closer to the seam at the protruding corners.

And we make notches on the inner corners

Turn it right side out

Use a needle to carefully straighten the corners

We put the parts together and stitch in the center from the very bottom to the top

It turns out to be such a flat Christmas tree

So, of course, that’s okay too, but it’s still better to fill

After stuffing, sew up the holes with a hidden stitch.

For stability, I slightly pulled the bottom of the central seam (if you cut exactly according to the pattern, then you are great and you don’t need to do this)

All. We admire the result))

Fabric. We are preparing for the new year! Master Class

On New Year's Eve, many people want to decorate their workplace and home with something unusual and original. Handmade things always lift your spirits and create a creative atmosphere.

I suggest you make an interesting textile Christmas tree from fabric of two contrasting colors. “Plant” it in a small decorative pot, and a real New Year’s tree will live on your table! Like this:

We will need:

fabric of two colors

scissors, thread, needle

fibertek for stuffing

pencil

straw “ribbons” for decoration.

In my work, I suggest using this pattern:

We begin to assemble the structure. To do this, having folded the parts with the front side inward, we first sew the first pair of parts of the same color along the “needles” line, that is, along the outer jagged contour.

We sequentially assemble the structure of the Christmas tree, sewing its edges along the straight sides, alternating parts of different colors. It is important that all parts are folded right side inward.

At the base of the future Christmas tree we leave a small hole unsewn, through which we will fill it with fibertek. Turn the structure right side out and stuff it tightly.

Carefully sew the Christmas tree at the base, leaving a small hole equal in diameter to the cross section of a pencil.

We sew the Christmas tree lengthwise through two planes that conventionally intersect perpendicularly (as shown in the photo) to give it the desired shape.

OPTION 2

You can make a very original Christmas tree with your own hands from pine cones. But we will not use the whole cones, but will use only their scales so that the tree is not too bulky.

So, first, let's separate its scales from the cone. This can be done with a sharp knife, wire cutters or pruning shears.

2.

3.

The next step is to make a cone from thick paper or cardboard, which will be the base of our Christmas tree. We roll the paper into a cone, glue it on the sides and cut off the excess at the base.

Then we simply take the scales in our hands and glue them in a circle, starting from the base of the cone.

You can glue each new row in a checkerboard pattern, or, like here, on top of each other.

You can glue a spice like cloves to the very top of your head)

9.
After the glue has dried, you can start painting our beauty. To do this, you can use spray paint or regular acrylic paint. If you choose acrylic paint with a metallic effect, your Christmas tree will look much more impressive.

10.
Then we cover the ends of the “twigs” with PVA glue and sprinkle glitter on them.

11.

Using exactly the same principle, you can decorate the cone with chains and beads, decorative cords, ribbons, braid, etc.

OPTION 5

Handmade New Year's toys are always something special. They bring warmth and homeliness and are certainly an interesting gift. In addition, they are always original and will undoubtedly attract the attention of all guests.

At the same time, do New Year's toys It’s not at all difficult to do it yourself. Let's start with these Christmas trees :)

To begin, we will cut out blanks for future Christmas trees from thick cardboard (my Christmas trees are 12 cm high and 9 cm wide). I use kraft cardboard for this - it is thick enough to withstand a wide variety of manipulations, and also pleasant to look at.

Option 1. Lace plus paper. Production time 15 minutes.

Using a sewing machine, sew cotton lace to the bottom edge of the Christmas tree. In order not to make a mistake with the length of a piece of lace, I first sew it on and then cut it off.

We retreat from the sewn edge a distance of about one and a half times greater than the width of the lace, and sew on the next frill. To prevent the lace from creeping up or down during the sewing process, I make a mark with a pencil where I need to arrive.

In the same way we sew all the frills onto the Christmas tree.

From scrapbooking paper we cut out pieces one and a half times wider than the width of the lace, one of the long edges of which is made into lace using a hole punch or curly scissors.

Carefully glue the strips under the lace, and sew them on a machine if desired.

We make the top like this.

We cut off the excess paper. As a result, we get a Christmas tree like this. You can apply glitter, snow flakes, glue pearls on it - in general, decorate it to your liking.

The reverse looks like this, but that doesn’t bother us for now :), we’ll deal with it a little later.

Variants of the same Christmas tree: instead of paper lace, you can use any ribbons sewn in the same way as lace; or decorative ribbons with roses

Option 2. Lace plus mini buttons. Production time 15 minutes.

We start in the same way as in the first option - sew on the lace.

We wait 1-2 minutes for the glue to “set” a little, after which we glue mini-buttons onto it in a chaotic manner.

In general, I am a big fan of sewn buttons, but in this case my hand trembled :), and I decided to put the needle and thread aside and use a simpler and faster method.

Other variations on the same theme: instead of mini-buttons - any ordinary buttons or rhinestones or pearls or small paper roses.

OPTION 6

From tinsel

OPTION 7

A simpler version of a Christmas tree made from ribbons is to simply attach a ribbon folded in half to the base. Moreover, you can attach it as satin ribbons, and paper (paper for scrapbooking).

OPTION 8

OPTION 9

New Year is not only about gifts and lots of goodies. On the eve of the holiday, you can give your child the joy of creativity and self-expression. Admiring an already “decorated” Christmas tree is, of course, great, but it’s much more interesting to make decorations with my own hands and watch how the house gradually turns into a fabulous New Year's forest! What would a forest be like without Christmas tree? We invite you to make an amazing New Year tree, which will be an excellent holiday decoration for your home.

To work we need thick green paper, glue, scissors, a round wooden stick and a bead.

1. Cut out 3-4 circles of different diameters from thick green paper. We fold each circle in half four times and draw it along the fold line several times with a hard object. Using scissors, cut a small piece from the top of each folded circle.

2. Take a wooden stick and place the smallest circle on it. The tip of the stick should protrude no more than 5 mm. Carefully place the remaining circles through the bottom of the stick. Lubricate the hole in the top of the largest circle with glue and attach the circle to the stick with glue. This is how we fix our entire structure.

3. Now our Christmas tree can be attached to the base. For example, a wine cork. We put a bead on the top of the Christmas tree, where we left a gap of 5 mm. Our Christmas tree is ready!

OPTION 10

DIY New Year's toy - “coffee tree”

It often happens that the holidays are just around the corner, but you still aren’t in a festive mood. And I really want, like in childhood, to wait for the arrival of the New Year, miracles, gifts and the fulfillment of desires. From my own experience, I can say that mood is born from little things and often comes in the creative process. To feel the coming holidays, you can decorate your apartment for the New Year, start cooking or making something special. For example, a fragrant Christmas tree made of fabric and coffee. Why not? Moreover, you need few materials for this wonderful New Year tree.

Materials for creating a DIY coffee tree:
sheet of cardboard small jar, for example, from under baby food coffee beans a small piece of fabric or burlap varnish (you can do without coating) Almost everyone also has the tools necessary for the work.

Tools for making a Christmas tree from coffee beans and fabric:
tweezers compasses glue (it is very convenient to use a hot glue gun) brush scissors needle and thread We do not indicate the sizes and quantities, since it all depends on what materials you use, as well as on the expected size of the Christmas tree. The process of creating this tree is simple and exciting. You can turn on some favorite New Year's movie in the background, and you will immediately feel that the New Year is already very close, and miracles are knocking on your door.

Making a coffee tree with your own hands
We make a cone from cardboard or thick paper. If you need a larger Christmas tree, you can use leftover wallpaper for the base. We glue the cone well around the edges. We put it on the table, check that it should be stable and tight.

We select a suitable size jar with a screw-on lid for the base.

Glue coffee beans onto the jar. The grains need to be glued on the same side, so the jar will look neater. It is convenient to take the grains with tweezers to protect your fingers from glue and burns (if you use a hot glue gun).

When the coffee beans are securely attached to the can, we proceed to the second layer, which we use to close any possible cracks and gaps between the beans.

The result should be a jar that looks like it consists of coffee beans. Only the neck is not covered so that the jar can be closed with a lid. The grains on the jar can be varnished. Then the leg of the tree will be smoother and glossier, but this will reduce the coffee aroma.

Let's get to the Christmas tree itself. If the size of the Christmas tree is large, and the frame (cardboard cone) does not seem rigid and stable enough, then it can be strengthened by simply filling it with something from the inside. This could be paper, napkins, fabric, etc. We cut the fabric or burlap for the external decoration of the Christmas tree to the size of the cone.

Glue the fabric to the cone, stretching and smoothing it.

Cover the bottom with a circle of cardboard.

We also cover the circle with cloth.

We will decorate the Christmas tree with patches. To do this, cut out identical small squares from fabric.

We remove several threads along the edges of the squares to form a neat fringe.

We glue the patches to the fabric on the cone. Glue coffee beans to the corners of each patch. This way we decorate the entire cone.

8.

Now that the cone and jar are ready, let's move on to the lid of the jar. It must be decorated and glued to the bottom of the cone. If desired, it can be decorated with coffee beans (gluing the edges with them) or fabric (we will dwell on this method in more detail). Cut a thin strip from the fabric. Using a needle and thread, we form equal folds on a strip of fabric, and then glue the fabric to the lid.

All that's left is to glue the lid to the bottom of the cone.

Christmas decoration ready! It can also serve as a nice gift, either on its own or as a jar of coffee. New Year's decoration Festive mood and miracles to you!

AND A FEW CREATIVE IDEAS:

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION!!!

Hello, dear readers of the site! Let's continue the holiday theme. Today we propose to make an elegant three-dimensional textile Christmas tree together with our sorceress Alena: “It doesn’t take much time to create a New Year’s craft - a Christmas tree made of fabric. The result will be a bright and soft beauty. It will decorate your home in New Year's style or serve as a wonderful gift for loved ones for the holiday. If the Christmas tree stuffing is treated with spruce flavoring, then New Year's souvenir It will also remind you of a magical holiday with its aroma.” Also don’t forget to see how to make a bright original one.

The following materials will be required:

  • Fabric: chintz, calico
  • Stencil
  • Stuffing (synthetic padding in balls, for example)
  • Scissors, thread, needle
  • Elements for decoration
  • Large button (5 cm in diameter)

How to make a Christmas tree out of fabric with your own hands:

Transfer the stencil to tracing paper and make it the size you need. I have a Christmas tree 20 cm high. Choose fabric in festive colors; you can make Christmas trees of the same color or make them a combination. Based on the composition of the fabric, choose a soft one that is easy to iron, the best option is cotton.

Using scissors, cut out six pieces using the stencil. In my version, I cut out four parts from fabric with red decor and two parts from fabric with green decor. Don't forget about the increases, about 0.5-0.7 mm. Fold the blanks in pairs with the arcs facing each other and pin them with safety pins. Sew along the outline with a straight stitch, leaving an opening at the bottom for stuffing.

Steam the workpieces with a hot iron. Make small cuts in the corners of the parts, not reaching the stitching, in order to carefully turn the workpieces out. Turn the Christmas tree blanks onto the face and straighten all the corners with a needle. Steam all the parts again.

Fold the finished parts together so that the green tree is between the red trees, and make a straight line along the middle seam. The next stage is stuffing. The best option is to use padding polyester in balls so that the filling is evenly distributed. Stuff each part of the tree, through the unstitched part at the bottom. Carefully fill in all corners. Then carefully sew the bottom hole closed by hand. Sew a large button to the very bottom of the Christmas tree to stabilize the New Year's souvenir.

The final and most interesting stage is decorating the Christmas tree. I sewed a bow of shiny ribbons onto the top of the Christmas tree, and “snowflakes” beads and balls onto the branches. You can decorate the Christmas tree as your imagination dictates, using beads, rhinestones, ribbons, and stars.

New Year's craft - the Christmas tree is ready!
