DIY wicker basket made from cardboard strips. Step-by-step instructions with photos. Beautiful Easter baskets made of paper and cardboard (3 MK) DIY basket made of cardboard and fabric

Good afternoon everyone. In our city, winter still doesn’t want to go away, and the weather does not indulge in the warmth and gentle spring sun. How are you doing with spring?! After all, Easter is very soon and I really want the snow to melt and the willows to bloom.

And since I started talking about this holiday, I think you guessed that we'll talk about preparations for this bright event. Most likely, you already know how to paint everything, we also discussed the topic, and even this year you will bake it yourself and not buy it)) So what else can we talk about?? And that's what it's about!! Today we will make very beautiful baskets; they can serve as table decorations and as original stands for paints.

As always, I looked through what the Internet offers us and selected for you the best works in different techniques and made from a variety of materials. So get ready, it will be interesting.

And we will start with a difficult master class prepared by Marina Ilyina. I’ll say right away that the work can be done by an adult or someone who is already well versed in the technique of weaving from tubes. I suggest you make a very elegant basket in the shape of a chicken. Such work would be very appropriate as a gift.

You will need: newsprint, glue pencil (or PVA), scissors, knitting needles, doofe, water, stain, rope, braid, cardboard, wire.

Work process:

1. Take newsprint, clean. We will make tubes out of it. Cut the newspaper into A3 sheets and cut lengthwise into four strips. The width of the strip should be 7.5 cm. Using a 1.5 mm knitting needle, wind the tubes very tightly so that they are of the same thickness along the entire length. Glue the tubes together with glue.

2. Then paint the prepared tubes with colorless impregnation dufa + water + stain. Dufa about 3 tbsp. spoons per half liter of water with stain.

3. Now do the following:

  • braid four pairs of tubes with a simple rope;
  • extend the working tube;
  • if the tube is thick, then make a dent with your fingernail and fold the tube, then put on a new one;
  • the connection must be hidden under the working tube.

4. Take a thick knitting needle and push the posts apart. Braid rope around each post. Next, weave the bottom to the desired size and take the desired shape.

5. Take a cotton braid and tie the shape to the weave so it won't slip. Next, weave several rows with a rope, and then one row with a rope of three tubes. And to create an even gap, we use a simple device - cardboards, which are fastened with a stapler, of the required height, put them on the racks.

For further weaving, you should have a fairly large distance between the posts, so add posts in each gap, simply inserting them between the weave and the form, then simply cut them off.

6. Weave a rope from three tubes, placing them at the beginning of the row behind the posts. And weave the row to the end. When you have one unbraided post left, take the nearest working tube, weave it in front of the two, behind the third. And then weave the second one from us, too.

8. You must complete a row, and then make an imperceptible transition to the next one, just like in a rope of three. It turns out that when you have one unbraided stand left, take the working tube closest to you, and then the second.

In the second row, do exactly the same. Add another working tube and weave a rope of three. Before doing this, take out the shape and weave a row, pulling the shape a little to give it a rounded shape. To do this, point the racks slightly inward.

9. The row must be completed without changing anything. Next we will fill the tubes. So, tuck the one farthest from you under the first working tube, with which the row began. Then tuck the second one from you under the two tubes at the beginning of the row. And the one that was closest to you should remain in place.

10. Now glue and carefully cut. And remove the tail from the inside. Glue and cut again. Thread the ponytails from the first rope of three.

12. Glue everything and trim it so that all the ends are hidden behind the weaving. Now take the wire, we will weave the chest and head. Take 9 racks, cut 4 racks through one. There will be 5 left. Insert a wire into the outermost and middle ones.

13. You need to weave with one working tube, gluing it at the beginning of the row. Use calico weaving. Then weave at the narrowing, and when the distance between the posts becomes minimal, weave the middle three tubes together.

Now weave on three stands. If the racks run out, extend them, while cutting the racks diagonally for further extension.

14. After a few rows, cut off the extra two posts in the middle. Braid the narrow neck-head. Coat this neck with glue and twist it tightly and secure it with something to dry. Then move on to the handle. So, after the breast, cut out 4 racks through one.

15. We will weave the handle on three stands. Cut the wire to the full length of the handle and insert it into the posts. Place the tubes on the wire, thus extending the base for the handle. Braid the handle according to the photo below.

16. Weave a handle of the required length and coat the posts very well with glue, then drag them into place from the opposite side so that the posts from the bowl remain on the wrong side, then cut them off. Pull the handle along all four rows and trim off the excess from the bottom.

Braid the ponytail in the same way. Each feather should be on three posts, into which you also insert the wire.

17. Remove the cardboard from the gap and cut off the posts that were placed in the gaps. Add elegance to the chicken.

18. Make quilling strips. Paint them with a brush, let them dry a little, and then wind them onto a thick knitting needle (3 mm). Twist into any patterns and fill in the empty spaces, glue on the beak and comb.

And here are some other wonderful chickens you can weave:

And in this version there is also an apple, a kind of little box.

Isn't it really indescribable beauty!! Those who have been familiar with this technique for a long time will cope with such weaving with a bang.

Master class on making a basket with hares

Now I would like to invite you to make an original basket with Easter bunnies from fabric. And I present to your attention the step-by-step manufacturing process.

You will need: fabric of different colors, template, threads, scissors, cardboard, PVA glue, padding polyester, pencil, acrylic paints, brush, ribbons.

Work process:

1. Save and print the template.

2. Along the lobar you need to cut out 4 strips:

  • 2 parts for the top of our bunnies (10x73 cm);
  • 2 parts for the bottom (7x73 cm);
  • 2 parts for the basket handle: 5x55 cm (from “inner” and “outer” fabric).

Allowances for these parts are already included and are 0.5 cm.

3. Take cardboard and cut out a circle with a diameter of 19 cm. This will be the bottom. Place it on the “outer” fabric, trace and cut with an allowance of about 2.5 cm. The edge does not have to be even. And after that, place it on the “inner” fabric, trace and cut out with an allowance of about 1 cm.

4. Glue the padding polyester to the cardboard circle on all sides and place it under a press. And after drying, trim off the excess padding, leaving about 0.3 cm.

5. Now stitch the top parts of the bunnies together with the bottom parts. Allowance 0.5 cm. Smooth the seam.

6. Trace the hares according to the template, retreating 2 mm from each other. There should be 10 animals in total. In this case, draw a “side” for the first and last ones, and only the heads for the rest. Up to the seam line.

7. Sew the heads along the drawn lines. Use curly scissors to trim the excess fabric close to the stitching. In the right places, namely between the ears, between the bunnies and in the places where the ears go into the head, leave notches.

8. Iron everything. Place vertical stitches between the animals: from the horizontal seam to the bottom edge. Use a simple pencil to outline your future nose. Use acrylic paints to paint eyes and nose. Tie knots on the ears with regular thread.

9. Cheeks can be painted with regular eye shadow or blush. Fill the figures tightly with padding polyester. Place a stitch along the bottom edge and overcast the edge.

10. Decorate the top seam with ribbon, braid or lace.

11. Using a hidden seam, connect our bunnies into a circle.

12. Now let's finish the bottom. Take a circle of large diameter and place basting stitches close to the edge, and at the circle of “inner” fabric, fold the seam allowance and secure it.

13. Place a cardboard-synthetic padding blank on the circle of “outer” fabric and pull the thread. Carefully tuck the padding polyester inside, trying to stay free.

14. Place the inner circle and sew it with blind stitches.

15. Sew the bunnies to the bottom using hidden stitches.

16. This is what you should get.

17. Now let's sew the handles. Take the strips cut out for the handles. Fold them in half lengthwise and stitch at a distance of 0.5 cm from the edge. At the same time, also sew one short section on both strips.

18. Turn them inside out and fill them with filling, and then sew them together, braiding them. Tuck the ends inside the edges and sew them up. Attach the finished handle to the basket.

19. Tie bows from satin ribbon on the ears and handle.

Well, how do you like this option?? I think it's incredibly beautiful!! And by the way, if you read the article to the end, you will see more great ideas Easter baskets made of fabric and felt. So stay until the finale))

Making a “basket” craft for Easter from paper (templates inside)

And most in a simple way Making such a souvenir are baskets made of ordinary paper or cardboard. Moreover, the complexity here is not too high, so it is accessible for children.

Delicate basket made using origami technique, decorated with flowers.

Or this option with green grass.

And look at this work, such a radiant chicken!! And don’t forget that the baskets are mainly intended as stands for paints.

Regular construction paper chickens look amazing!!

How do you like this version of paper plates?! Cool and simple idea!!

Or a very simple option from any box, just decorate it with colorful paper, ribbons, lace and make a handle. And inside you can put molds from purchased eggs.

See how easy it is to weave a basket from any cardboard or old thick magazines.

First, cut out a square of cardboard so that its side is a multiple of three. Then draw the blank into 9 identical squares. While doing this, cut out the four corner pieces. Use the central square as the bottom for the future basket. It remains unchanged.

And cut the cut out squares into strips of the same width. In this case, make the cut without reaching the edge.

Take another sheet of cardboard and cut it into strips of equal width. Next, use these strips to weave the perimeter of the basket. And secure the edges with glue.

Glue a handle from one strip and decorate the basket to your taste.

Now, as promised, I offer you various patterns for folding and gluing Easter baskets.

  • Flower basket

  • With egg-shaped elements

  • Interesting handbag

  • Easter bunnies

Easter egg basket made from a plastic cup and knitted yarn

Of course, when it comes to crafts, various available materials are used. And I found a wonderful master class on making our present from an ordinary plastic cup. This kind of work is easy to do and takes little time. And instead of knitted yarn, you can use regular thick threads.

We will need: a plastic cup, twine (or thick threads, yarn), Titan glue, a hot gun, a piece of plastic packaging tape used to wrap furniture, any ribbons, braid, beads and other decorations.

Work process:

1. Take the twine and glue the end to the bottom of the glass. Wrap the threads in a circle, having previously coated the bottom with glue.

3. Cut off unnecessary plastic.

4. Take a piece of packing tape of the required length for the handle. Decorate it with braid using a glue gun.

5. Attach the finished handle.

6. Take beads and other decorative elements and decorate the product.

This is such a miracle thing that happens!!

It would be great to do this kind of work for a competition in kindergarten or school.

You can also take a colored plastic glass, cut the walls into strips and screw them to the base. Makes an excellent egg stand.

Or you can use a large glass, which is wrapped with adhesive colored paper, and decorated plastic spoons are glued on top, then everything is tied with a ribbon. It turns out to be a basket-vase.

This is how you can do extraordinary things simply and brightly.

Paper is the most affordable and versatile material that is used both for children's creativity and for serious design work. A paper basket can be an interesting addition to the interior or gift wrapping to a loved one or just an excuse to get creative with your hands with your child. In this material you will find a selection original ideas for making paper baskets.

Making a simple paper basket with your own hands in MK

Even a child can handle this craft, and most importantly, it will take very little time. To work you will need a square sheet of paper or cardboard. It’s good if there is a beautiful design on the outside of the paper.

First, you need to draw a square piece of paper into 9 small squares (3x3) and make 4 cuts, as shown in the photo:

We bend the workpiece so that two opposite squares along the middle line stand parallel to each other. The remaining side walls will be inclined at the same angle.

Apply glue to the middle squares and glue the entire structure. Cut out a strip of paper for the pen and glue it on. The craft is ready!

Kraft paper baskets.

Baskets made from brown wrapping paper will look very stylish in almost any interior. They can be used as a stand for artificial flowers or a container for storing small items.

To work, you will need brown craft paper, scissors, glue and tape, a sheet of cardboard (or other thick paper).

At the beginning of work, you need to prepare strips for weaving, 30 cm in length. To do this, cut strips 4 cm wide and fold them in half lengthwise. One basket requires about 50 strips.

We select 16 paper strips, 8 of them are laid horizontally, the other 8 are laid vertically. We start weaving from the bottom, crossing the strips with each other. Then we bend the strips up and move on to weaving the walls.

We braid the vertical ones with a “working” strip. At the end, we bend the remaining ends inward and glue them. The result is a square-shaped basket.

If you want to make a round basket, you will need to cut a circle for the base from cardboard or very thick paper. To weave the base, we take 8 strips, first fold them crosswise in pairs, and then connect them together in the shape of a star with one center. Glue a round base to the center of the star. We bend the strips up and begin to braid them with another strip in a circle. At the end, leave 2.5 cm of base strips, bend them inward and glue them. The round basket is ready!

Another option for a round basket. For it you will also need a cardboard circle of any suitable size and strips of kraft paper. Using instant glue, glue 12 strips (5 mm wide) to the base circle at an equal distance from each other. We bend them upward and begin to braid them with a working strip, as in the previous example. We leave 2.5 times the height of the strips free at the end, fold them inward and glue them.

A basket made of paper using the origami technique.

To work, you will need a square sheet of paper for the basket and a strip of paper for the pen. We fold the base of the origami basket according to the diagram:

We bend the strip of paper for the pen 4 times lengthwise and glue it. The basket is ready!

Basket using 3D appliqué technique.

Volumetric applique is an effective and interesting technique, popular in children's creativity. In order to make a basket you will need 2 sheets of colored paper of different colors, PVA glue, scissors, a ruler and a pencil.

Let's analyze the work on the craft step by step. First, cut both sheets of paper into thin long stripes 0.5 cm wide. We intertwine the strips together to form a rectangle equal to the desired size of the basket.

The rectangle needs to be given a slightly inclined shape. To do this, slightly stretch out the two sides of the rectangle - the space between the stripes on this side should expand slightly.

If you are completely satisfied with the size and shape of the future basket, we begin gluing the joints of the strips. We turn the rectangle inside out and apply small drops of glue to the joints and dry. We cut off the excess length of the strips, retreating 1.5-2 cm from the basket, bend the tails and glue them.

We cut the remaining lighter strips in half, and divide the dark ones into 3 parts. We roll them into tight bundles (“barrels”). You can wind it on a simple sewing needle and glue the ends. Glue the blanks along the bottom edge of the basket, alternating colors.

Glue the basket to the flower applique. First we glue the bottom edge, then the sides (separately), so that the top edge moves slightly away from the surface. We lay out the handle of the basket with the remaining “barrels” of paper strips, also alternating them.

The craft is ready. If desired, you can add a butterfly or bow to the basket.

Video on the topic of the article

For those who want to get new ideas for creativity and analyze the making of baskets in more detail. We have prepared a selection of video master classes:

Paper is a universal material. It can be used not only for office purposes, but also to make a large number of beautiful items for apartment decor. All the things made can not only be used as decoration, but also used for their intended purpose.

If you have a lot of unnecessary paper lying around at home, then it’s time to find a use for it and pass the time doing something interesting and creative. For example, you can make a basket with your own hands from paper. To realize this idea, you can use any paper, even newspapers or magazines. The future small basket can become beautiful and an original gift for someone dear to you.

DIY paper basket

To do this job you need:

  1. Any paper, newspapers and magazines can be used.
  2. Knitting needle or wooden skewer. Choose them as thick as you want the tubes of the future basket to be.
  3. An elastic band for clothes or money.
  4. Clothes pin.
  5. PVA glue.
  6. Scissors.
  7. Stationery knife.
  8. Brushes for glue and paints.
  9. Basis for weaving.
  10. Thick cardboard. If you don't have one, a regular candy box will do.
  11. Paint to give the product a more beautiful appearance.
  12. Weight to make the product more stable during the manufacturing process.
  13. Items that can be used to decorate the basket.

Cardboard option

If you have everything listed above, then you can safely start creating. The first step is to make as many paper tubes as possible, so as not to be distracted by twisting them in the future.

They can be done according to the following scheme:

When all the blanks are made, they can be painted and then dried. If you don’t want to wait, you can continue making the basket and paint the finished product.

Having prepared the tubes, you can start making the basket. First of all, you should clearly determine the dimensions of the future product.

Making the bottom of the basket

To make the bottom, you can choose one of two methods.

First way. It is the simplest and does not require much time. All you need is to cut out an oval or round bottom template from thick cardboard. After this, flatten the edge of the tube. Lubricate it with glue and attach it to the bottom. Do the same operation with all remaining blanks. In this case, you should evenly space them around the perimeter. Coat the second bottom with glue and connect it to the first. Make sure that the rays are between the two bottoms. For greater reliability, you can place a weight and wait for the product to dry. After this, you can bend the rays upward. Glue a tube from the inside to the bottom and weave the walls.

Second way. This option for making the bottom requires a little more time for weaving. We take four tubes and distribute them at a short distance from each other. This will be our first row. At the next stage, we take six tubes, place them in pairs and at right angles to the already prepared ones. They are placed in this order: under the first and above the second pair of rays in the first row we place two tubes. We place the next two tubes mirrored and side by side. We lay the remaining ones in the same way as the first two. As a result, you will get a checkerboard pattern.

We describe a further explanation of the steps on how to make a paper basket with your own hands. We take another tube, fold it in half and put it on the already completed pair of rays. To avoid confusion, we recommend marking them with a felt-tip pen or marker. Next, we cross the tube and braid other pairs. Their working part is crossed after braiding each pair. Similarly, we bring the matter to the end of the second row.

If the tubes made are too short, then they need to be lengthened. To do this, take glue and lubricate the narrow tip with it. After this, insert the new tube into the working one. This way you can increase them to the desired size. As soon as two rows of the bottom are ready, you can start making a single working tube, two more.

The next step will be making the bottom edging. To do this, bend the marked first ray behind the next one and direct it to the middle, bend the second one behind the third. We continue like this until the end. We fix the remaining ray in the loop obtained from the first one.

To continue weaving, take the next tube, fold it into two parts and put it on the first ray. We make the fourth row in the same way as the third.

The fifth row will serve us for decoration. You can take beads or other decoration and put them on the odd rays. After this row you need to weave two more. If leftovers appear, they can be trimmed and tucked between the rows.

Making a pen

In order to make the handle of our basket, you need to separate three rays from each side and fasten them with clothespins. The remaining tubes are trimmed and glued to the edge of the product.

The handle of the future basket is woven as follows:

  1. We connect the tubes of both sides to get three of them.
  2. The working tube must be glued with PVA at the base of the handle, perpendicular to it.
  3. After this, we braid the handle with a working tube.

Before finishing the work, the basket is shaped and impregnated with glue. Then let it dry thoroughly. This operation will give greater strength to the finished product.

The last step will be painting the basket. You don't need any advice here. Everyone paints it in their favorite color and gives it the shade they like.

Now you know how to make a wicker basket out of paper and can easily repeat this process. I wish everyone good luck!

Attention, TODAY only!

For many, hand-made things are of great value because they help create an atmosphere of comfort.

The decor becomes more original, original details appear that bring individual features to the interior.

Modern stores have a very large selection of interior accessories. Various useful little things can be quite expensive, especially when you need not 2-3 things, but a whole set of baskets, vases, paintings, etc.

For this reason, many people choose the option where they can decorate the house themselves.

You can get many advantages from such an idea - the thing will turn out beautiful and exactly what you need - it will be easy to use and fit into the overall interior. At the same time, you won’t need to spend a lot of money on it, or it will be completely free if all the materials are available.

Storage systems will always be useful in the home. Wicker baskets perform such functions perfectly. The process itself can even turn into a hobby that you can engage your family and friends with.

Paper basket

It will not be necessary plain paper, and wrapper. She could stay in the house, but if not, then she is not expensive and can be bought in large quantities. You can find it in hypermarkets, flower shops or shops with similar small items.

Brown paper looks good on curves and has a nice color. As a last resort, you can use wallpaper instead of paper; they have a similar texture.

To work you will need a machine, paper clips and glue. The paper needs to be cut into even strips and folded several times. The denser our blanks turn out to be, the more reliable our paper basket will be.

To make it more convenient to work and the product to look more aesthetically pleasing, the edges of the tape are stitched with thread. Indentations are made in the region of 5 mm. The color of the thread is chosen to match the overall color of the room. You can take black threads, they will look good with any color scheme.

In order to further secure the product, the strips are coated with glue. Silicone is best; it sets quickly.

Newspaper basket

You can make your own basket from either paper or newspapers. The principle will be approximately the same. Even decorators often use this method of decoration. Black and white stripes look quite original and bright.

Newspapers are still quite relevant today, despite digital technologies. People value them just like books—for the ability to touch and smell the print.

Many people have large stacks of old publications at home that have nowhere to be identified. It is quite possible to make a dense product out of them - it could be a fruit basket or a container for storing small items.

We will need scissors and glue. As with paper, we make a lot of blanks in the form of smooth ribbons and weave them together. To make the basket more reliable, it is lined with thick tape of any color.

Fabric baskets

Old fabric can be used to make a good laundry basket. You can also store children's toys, magazines and newspapers in it, and even use it as a cover for flower pots.

Note!

To work you will need a plain and decorative fabric, threads. From decorative and plain material you need to cut out 2 blanks - a circle and a rectangle. They must be the same length.

Then you need to fold 2 circles and 2 rectangles with the wrong side and stitch them. After that, we sew everything together and you're done.

Perhaps the first works will not look like a master class on how to make a basket, but with practice, you can make quite decent products that will not only be free, but also beautiful and functional.

Many housewives will agree that sometimes some things simply have nowhere to go. This is especially true for small things that seem to be very necessary in the household, but get in the way or are not always at hand. At the same time, finding a suitable option in a store can be quite difficult.

In the photo of the baskets, you can see options that are easy to make at home, completely free or for little money.

Note!

You can purchase the basket at the store or make it yourself to your liking. The basket is a great solution for anyone who loves to do their own handicrafts. You can make such a container from scrap materials, saving money, and the result will definitely be stylish and unique.

How to make a basket with your own hands from a cardboard box?

The easiest way is to turn a ready-made box into a basket by covering it with any decorative material. To do this, you can use leftover wallpaper, self-adhesive film, colored paper and cardboard, fabric. You can glue it using glue or double-sided tape.

The box for pasting with fabric should be chosen as strong and thick as possible. The material should not be easily soiled. Fabrics with the addition of synthetics are best suited; they wrinkle less and hold their shape better. Thin material can be starched; it is permissible to glue it with double-sided tape. Thicker fabric can only be glued with glue.

We cut the material according to the dimensions of the box, leaving 2-3 cm for allowance. Lace or satin ribbons, braid, embroidery, etc.

Cut off the top flaps of the box.

Cut out a square (rectangle) for the inside of the bottom of the basket, slightly larger than its area. Glue and straighten.

We cover the inner side walls with two strips of fabric (1 strip for 2 walls). To make it neat, roll the fabric into a roll, gradually coat the wall of the box with glue and roll out the roll.

We cut out squares (2 pieces) from fabric with allowances for gluing 2 opposite outer walls of the box. We bend the edge at the top edge inward and glue it. To ensure that the folds at the corners are neat, we make small cuts.

We cut out one large piece of fabric to cover the 2 remaining walls through the bottom and tuck them in the same way. The basket from the box is ready!

We make an interesting version of a rope basket for a bath or sauna

It is convenient to store towels and other bath accessories in such a basket, so it can be made for a bathroom or for a summer house. You will need a simple plastic basket (such as an office wastebasket) and matching rope in one or more colors.

We wrap the basket with rope, starting from the bottom, and gradually apply hot glue to the rope. The glue can be applied in a solid line or dotted line at intervals of 1-2 cm.

A simple metal basket will also work. We cover it with turns of rope in the same way. You can see the process of making a rope basket in more detail in the photo:

Crafts made from scrap materials are valued for their efficiency and for the fact that they help give a second life to things that are no longer needed. Recently, weaving from newspapers has been quite popular. Products made from paper wicker are quite durable and beautiful.

To make a basket you will need:
  • A stack of newspaper sheets.
  • Scissors and ruler.
  • Thick cardboard for the bottom.
  • PVA glue and glue gun (optional).
  • Knitting needle.
  • Acrylic paint (ours is white) with a brush.
  • A jar or bottle of suitable diameter as a mold.

We cut newspaper sheets into the longest even strips, 10 cm wide. You can cut with scissors or using a ruler and a stationery knife. We wind each strip onto a knitting needle (3-4 mm in diameter) at an angle of 30 degrees, and glue the corner with PVA. In this way we twist at least 30 tubes.

We cut out 2 circles from cardboard according to the diameter of the future basket (you can circle the jar). We flatten the tubes for the base (vertical) by 3 cm from the edge. With the flattened ends we glue the tubes to the cardboard base. They should be located radially at the same distance from each other. You can glue them with a glue gun, as in the photo, or with PVA, but in the second case it will take more time and some kind of press.

Lubricate the second circle with glue and stick it on top of the first. We lift the tubes vertically and carefully tighten the faith with an elastic band. Glue the working tube to the cardboard bottom, slightly flattening its end. We begin weaving by bending the working tube around the main ones in a circle.

We continue weaving, increasing the working tube as necessary, inserting the next one with a drop of PVA glue into it. We place a jar at the bottom, which will serve as a support and make weaving easier.

Having reached the required height, we hide the end of the working tube in the inside of the weave, glue it and cut off the excess. We cut off the base tubes, leaving 3 cm at the ends. We bend them inward and tuck them into the weave, smearing them with glue.

The basket of newspaper tubes is ready! Now the work needs to be painted with acrylic paint in 3 layers, leaving at least a few minutes before each new layer. You can decorate and use the basket as you wish.
