To some extent, this is true, but if you have enough patience and a great desire, then you will certainly succeed. And our simple tips and recommendations will help you with this! A small illustrative selection of photographs will clearly show how to simply make flowers from fabric.

What will be required to make simple flowers from fabric, satin ribbons and braid?

  • The ribbons themselves and the fabric matching the color palette;
  • Sharp scissors - it is advisable to have on hand both large and small scissors with a blunt end;
  • Chalk or pencil, ruler;
  • Colored beads, beautiful buttons;
  • Liquid PVA glue;
  • Decorative varnish with sparkles;
  • Two types of wire - strong and thick, and soft thin for fastening buds;
  • Two types of fishing line - thin and thick (durable).

simple fabric flowers

The options for the appearance of the finished flower depend on which edge you will string the fabric from.

The first option - fold outward

You will need a long and wide strip of fabric, 10 * 20 cm. Fold the fabric in half and collect in your hands, forming an inflorescence. It remains to sew a flower with threads of suitable color so that it does not fall apart.

The second option - fold inward

The sequence of actions is the same as in the first option, only the fabric needs to be collected along the bent edge. Then you get a completely different flower.

You can also use several strips of fabric of different colors, textures and widths. Flowers can turn out completely different.

Sequence of work
  1. Fold the fabric in half and cut long strip fabrics measuring 3-4-5 by 10 cm. Do the same for each fabric in the flower. Then lay them face up, fold in half face up. The pictures below have 3 layers of fabric; 2 layers of chiffon (2 colors) and one layer of lace.
  2. Using your needle and thread, start stitching along the longest side of the layered stripes. Gather the fabric gently as you sew to create a nice long gathered frill; tie a thread.
  3. Start twisting the frill at one end, right side up. This will be the center of your flower. Twist a few times and sew a few seams with a needle and thread to secure them. Repeat this process until you reach the end of the frill. Add a few last stitches to make sure everything is in order and knot the thread.
  4. Separate the layers a little to form the pomp of the flower. If you want the edges to be more tousled, just rub the petals between your thumb and forefinger. Trim excess threads around the flower.

Any reasonably light fabric can be used, if you're unsure, buy 1/8-1/4 yard and then try it to see if you like the results.

Lace looks great as an extra layer between other layers, and green lace can be used for a leaf effect if you attach the assembled piece to the base of the flower. You can also make the whole flower out of lace if you want a very delicate look.

By experimenting with different types of fabrics, you can make quite a few colors. If you prefer a cleaner edge, just trim the edges or choose a fabric that won't fray on the raw edge.

On the Internet you will find many tutorials on other ways to assemble flowers with different results. Experiment with them.

Denim flowers

Sometimes you want to decorate a denim jacket or shirt. In this case, you can make simple flowers from denim.
If the fabric is thin, you can use one of the options. And if it is dense, then you can simply cut out the petals and leaves, and collect them into a flower of any shape and size. Experiment, and the photo will help you decide.

Carnation from fabric and braid

In the same way, you can make a carnation inflorescence from fabric, but the principle is still a little different - the fabric is immediately strung on a strong thread. In exactly the same way, we collect a wide ribbon or fabric of a suitable color and width. And depending on the length of the fabric or braid itself, each time the bud inflorescence will look different.

To make a flower inflorescence from a braid or ribbon, it is enough to collect it on a thread, securely fasten it by sewing the fabric, and decorate it inside with beads that will imitate stamens.
With these flowers you can decorate any gift or box, make a composition for decorating a wall or a picture.

Thick satin carnations

In order to make a fluffy carnation or dense satin, the fabric must be folded, making a blank like for a fan. Then fasten in the center with wire, fold, straightening the edges and cutting off the extra tips that stick out and straighten to form a bud.
As they say, everything ingenious is very easy to do with your own hands from ordinary objects. Please note that it is recommended to use a satin that is monophonic, matching the color palette to fresh flowers.

simple silk flowers

To create a bud, you need silk fabric. We cut out five circles of the same diameter from it, fold it in half and sew it, as shown in the photo. We collect a bud from the obtained blanks - petals, decorate the center of the inflorescence with a button or beautiful beads with a brilliant effect.

The same circles can not be sewn, but folded, as shown in the figure and glued directly to the fabric or felt. You will end up with an easy-to-make DIY fabric flower that looks a little different.

fabric roses

Making roses is a little more difficult, but everything is possible, right? The simplest folding option is shown in detail in the figures below.

Cut a strip of fabric 2-3 cm wide and about 50 cm long. The longer the fabric, the larger the flower. Tie a knot at one end and cut off the end next to the knot.

Take the knot back on yourself and start rolling the fabric around it, turning and twisting the strip of fabric towards the center of the flower.

Keep rolling, checking and twisting. To get the result, the flower can be sewn together or glued with hot glue.

I tried gluing and sewing, and it turned out that using glue is much faster, easier and less reliable!

When the flower reaches your desired size, twist the strip of fabric to the bottom of the fabric, cut and glue to the base of the flower, and make another one! Sew on some beads in the center of your flowers.

Roses from braid and satin ribbon

After the flower is formed, the product must be secured with a strong thread.

For a more elegant version of a satin ribbon rosette, you will have to try. In this process, each petal is harvested separately, and only then a bud is formed. Each new part should be carefully sewn to the formed part of the bud, and, accordingly, the more blanks you make and fasten on the bud, the more voluminous and magnificent the product will turn out. A few practical tips

A similar method of burning the edges will not allow the edges of the petals to crumble.

Do not immediately take on fabric dyeing, in the first stages, for realism, you can use several types of colors of the same type of fabric, observing soft and smooth transitions.

Finally

It may seem to you that creating flowers from fabric with your own hands is a difficult and painstaking task, believe me, as soon as you get the first composition, excitement will also wake up. On our site there are both more and easy options for creating flowers, as well as more complex ones that require skill and attention.

Dare and try, and you will definitely succeed, and a gift made from the heart with your own hands is valued much higher than any of the most expensive things!

It is difficult to imagine a wedding ceremony and a celebration without flowers: they are an indispensable component of the bride's bouquet and groom's boutonniere, they decorate cars and the banquet room with their help. But sometimes living plants are not able to endure too hot or cold weather, and temperature changes adversely affect their appearance. In the article, you will learn what an alternative is, how to make fabric flowers with your own hands so that they look beautiful on your wedding day and remain in memory of a joyful day without losing their original appearance.

Master class on making artificial flowers from organza

Artificial flowers look charming, in the manufacture of which organza was used. This is due to the frequency of using the material when sewing a wedding dress, which means that the accessory will go well with the bride's outfit. In addition, the fabric is very comfortable and pliable in work, which will facilitate the process of creating a masterpiece, and a variety of color shades makes it possible to choose colors that best suit the decoration of the celebration.

Necessary materials

In order to make organza flowers, you will need:

  • Organza. The color of the fabric depends on the preferences of the bride and the theme, style of the wedding. To create an interesting composition, materials of different shades can be used. If it is impossible to find organza, chiffon or satin will do.
  • Sewing accessories - needle, thread, wire.
  • Beads, beads for decoration.
  • Candle, matches.
  • Paper needed for drawing patterns and sketches.

Stages of creation

A detailed master class will help you learn how to make fabric flowers with your own hands:

  • We are preparing patterns for future buds. To do this, draw several circles of different diameters on paper. To make the circles as even as possible, you should use glasses of different sizes or other round objects. After drawing, cut out the elements and transfer to the fabric. Using ready-made templates, we cut out several circles of each diameter from organza - we got petal blanks.

  • Light a candle. Bringing each petal, melt the edges a little. In order to determine how far from the fire to keep the fabric, practice on unnecessary segments. Small details should be singeed, holding them with tweezers so as not to burn your hands.

  • Let's start assembling. It is better to start with the lower petals of a large size, gradually adding the rest. The middle should be decorated with beads or beads, sewn on or strung on a wire. The organza peony is ready.

  • To create an organza rose, it is necessary during the first stage to make five shallow cuts on the finished fabric mug. When processing parts with fire, it is important to ensure that all the petals are twisted in one direction, then the bud will look neat and beautiful.

Simple decorative ribbon flowers

On the eve of the wedding, many brides think about how to sew, make fabric flowers so that they look beautiful, complement existing accessories and jewelry, harmoniously combined with them. Often the problem is the lack necessary materials, skills and experience in creative work. But in order to create amazing exclusive flowers from ribbons, you do not need special equipment or great skill. The main thing is a little patience and imagination, and a detailed master class will help you realize all this, create real masterpiece with my own hands.

Necessary materials

In order to make buds from ribbons, you will need:

  • Satin ribbons in two colors (main and for leaves). Particular attention should be paid to the width of the tapes - the wider and longer it is, the larger and more voluminous the product will be.
  • Threads, needle.
  • Optionally, beads or rhinestones can be used for decoration.

Stages of creation

Consider two options for how to make beautiful fabric flowers, both are simple, but the result will surely please, and ready-made accessories will serve as an excellent decoration. Master class number 1:

  • cut off satin ribbon the required width is 50 cm long. We wrap one edge to make a triangle.

  • We fold a small corner and fasten it with a needle and thread.

  • We collect the ribbon on a thread, folding it to make a beautiful "accordion". How to do it right, look at the photo.

  • Having collected the entire tape, it must be wrapped around the base, forming a beautiful rose. Secure everything with a thread so that the composition does not fall apart.

  • To create a leaflet, cut a ribbon 10 centimeters long, fold both ends into the middle, forming a triangle. Sew and tighten the triangle at the base. The leaf is ready. To create a beautiful composition, at least two leaves are needed for one flower.

  • We connect the flower with the leaves - the masterpiece is ready.

Master class number 2:

  • We cut off a satin ribbon 35 centimeters long. We bend the edge away from ourselves and begin to twist the flower. We fix the base with a thread, not reaching the fold line.

  • We bend the tape towards ourselves, forming a petal. We continue to twist the rose, wrapping the ribbon towards us.
  • We sew the end of the tape from the inside out, fastening all the layers with a thread so that they do not fall apart.

  • By analogy, we make the required number of flowers, from which we will make an accessory or decoration. Such textile accessories are perfect for creating a wedding topiary.

Large fabric flowers using kanzashi technique

Fabric flowers made using the kanzashi technique are original and beautiful. Such accessories can be small and can be used to decorate a wedding dress, a bride's hair band or guests' boutonnieres. If desired, in this way you can make a large flower that will decorate the wedding cortege, banquet hall. The advantage of this technique is the ability to make a flower of absolutely any color, size, without spending a lot of effort and money.

Necessary materials

To make a flower using the kanzashi technique, you will need:

  • Satin ribbon. A large flower requires a wide ribbon. In order to get a multi-colored masterpiece, it is worth buying material of different shades, the golden elements in the product look good.
  • Glue gun, Moment-Crystal glue.
  • Thread, needle, scissors.
  • For decoration - beads, beads, rhinestones, small decorative ornaments in the form of insects (butterflies, ladybugs).
  • Cardboard or ball, cellophane bag.

Stages of creation

Two methods can be used to create large kanzashi-style flowers, we will consider both so that everyone can choose the most suitable and simple option for themselves. Master class number 1:

  • We cut the satin ribbon 7 cm long. Fold it in half and cut it at an angle with a soldering iron.

  • On the other hand, we wrap the tape in the opposite direction, singe the edge, due to which the two ends of the tape are connected. We make the required number of blank petals, which depends on the desired size of the flower.

  • We take cardboard and draw a circle along which we will glue the petals. The larger the diameter, the larger the accessory will turn out as a result. Glue all the petals around.

The second option for creating kanzashi involves creating a large, round, convex flower:

  • The ball is covered with a plastic bag. The size of the finished product depends on the diameter of the ball.
  • We make petals that will serve as the basis of the product.
  • We connect seven finished petals with a thread and a needle into a circle, fix it. It turns out a small flower, which we attach to our ball in the center.
  • Next, glue the petals, placing them between the elements of the previous row.
  • We glue one more element to the petals of the first row, and two more on each side to the details of the third.
  • By analogy, we glue the remaining petals until we get a flower of the desired size.
  • We remove the ball and the plastic bag, our masterpiece is ready.

For this we need:
candle
artificial (!) fabric (chiffon, organza, silk....)
fabric paints
scissors
"hot glue
base for hairpins (headband, brooches, etc. at your discretion)
ribbons, beads, leaflets (optional)
good mood(Necessarily!)
If everything is at hand - you can start!
So, first of all, you need to choose a fabric. For this method of making a flower, only ARTIFICIAL fabrics are suitable. It can be silk, organza, chiffon, etc., flowers look very beautiful, in the manufacture of which several types of fabrics of various densities and textures are used. Fabric color may also vary. From a colored fabric (or a combination of several colored fabrics), you can make a wonderful accessory for a dress or suit in a certain color scheme. And painted it yourself white cloth, you can get more natural flowers in a variety of shades.
Having chosen the fabric, we determine the size of the flower. For convenience, we cut out a circle from thick paper with a diameter equal to the maximum size of the flower, and then three more circles, each of which is approximately 0.5 - 0.7 mm smaller than the previous one. The number of "sized" circles can be changed, but from practice - 4 sizes are the most optimal. The diameter of the largest template in my case is 7.5 cm. At the same time, remember that the finished flower is 1-1.5 cm smaller than the template, depending on the fabric used.
Now that the templates of four sizes are ready, we cut out blank mugs from the fabric. The number of them can be different, it depends on the density and splendor of the flower that you want to get. I cut out about 4-5 pieces of each size, depending on the fabric, according to the principle, the thinner the fabric, the more blanks.
Option 1 (white silk)
We lay out the fabric blanks on the working surface and using fabric paints (I use DECOLA Batik paints), we start painting the future petals. To obtain beautiful and natural color transitions, the fabric must first be slightly moistened.

In this version, I paint only the middle of the blanks, leaving the edges white. To achieve absolutely identical and even blanks is not worth it, because. in living nature there is nothing symmetrical and identical.

After the paint on all the blanks has dried, proceed to the next step - cut out the petals. To do this, cut the workpiece into 4 parts without reaching the center of about 1-1.5 cm and cut off the sharp corners of the petals.
Then carefully and carefully process all the edges of the petals over the candle flame.

Having processed all the “quatrefoil blanks” in this way, we lay them out in size. Then we make a flower out of them in descending order, fastening them together with "hot" glue (or stitching them with threads).

We add stamens (here a small polystyrene tinted in green), leaves and fix our revived flower with "hot" glue on the basis for hairpins. In this case, I decided to leave the flowers more "open", for which I used only 10-11 layers of blanks, leaving the middle free.

Option number 2 (white chiffon)
All stages are the same as in option No. 1, only in this case we paint not only the middle, but the entire surface of the workpiece.

Cut into 4 parts, "round" the edges.

We burn the edges over the candles.

Collecting a flower.

Add leaves and fasten to the base for hairpins. To get such more lush flowers, I used 16-17 layers of blanks, completely covering the middle.

Option number 3 (from colored fabrics)
For the manufacture of these flowers, I used fabrics left after sewing a dress for my daughter.
These are three types of fabrics: gray silk, colored crinkled chiffon and light gray organza.
All stages of work are the same, only without dyeing the fabric. For clarity, I made two versions of such a flower - one of the blanks with 4 petals, and the other of the blanks with 8 petals (the difference is clearly visible in the finished form).

To make such flowers even faster and easier - cut, burn, collect, fix ....

And here is the result - a wonderful accessory for the dress is ready!

Among the many different ways of making flowers from fabric, it seems to me that this option is the most affordable, fast, does not require special training and rare, expensive tools. At the same time, it allows you to achieve excellent results!

Even the most Nice dress will play in a new way if you add it with a fabric flower.

You can wear jewelry in different ways:

with a hairpin in her hair, a flower will complement an elegant hairstyle;
if you decorate a bracelet with it, then you will not take your eyes off your hands;
on a dress, it can be a brooch on the chest or hide the clasp of the belt.

Ways to create a flower in stages

Delicate flower on the dress

As a first experience, a creation from thin natural fabrics is suitable. The translucent texture will make the flower delicate, the stiffness of the denser fabric will make the petals dimensionally stable. The size of the first flower is better to choose medium: with small details you need skill, and the assembly of a large one is the lot of experienced flower makers.

Pattern

The best source of inspiration is, of course, nature. Experienced craftsmen create exact copies of natural flowers, having previously removed patterns from their petals. For a fantasy form, approximate patterns of petals of three or four sizes are enough. It can be separate large petals and a continuous circle of the smallest petals.

Fabric choice

Beautiful flowers are obtained from companion fabrics. A denser fabric for large outer petals is complemented by a translucent center. It is better to choose light fabrics, you can tighten the color to the dress by dyeing.

Natural silk fabric is well formed, for the first experience it is better to choose it. Gelatin or PVA can be used as a dressing. The second is used for accessories that are not afraid of moisture. For leaves and green buds, dense green silk is suitable.

Petal coloring

It is necessary to paint after processing with a dressing. You can use aniline dyes or food grade. Wet blanks are laid out on the glass. The petals are tinted with a brush, moving from the middle to the outer edge. Since the fabric is wet, the color stretch is smooth and natural.

Preparation of materials

Flower parts are formed under the influence of heat and pressure. Special bulb nozzles are put on an ordinary soldering iron; a soft and hard pad serves as the basis for bulging. Foam rubber serves as filling in a soft substrate, and in a hard one - a rubber mat. We will assemble the flower using PVA glue and a thin wire glued at the base of the petals.

Shaping the petals

We give the shape to the petals with the help of special nozzles on the soldering iron. I molded my first flower with a spoon and a kitchen knife. Heated over an open flame, they are not as effective as a soldering iron with a special tool.

Reference! It has become very easy to buy a tool today. It is enough to make a request and the necessary tools are at your disposal.

We work alternately on a hard and soft pad. After a few petals, a clear understanding will come, which combination of movements, and for which form is more suitable.

Making pistil and stamens

For the manufacture of stamens, we use chopped thick fishing line, its sections can be dipped in tinted semolina. We form a pestle from cotton wool on a wire and paint it in the desired color.

flower core

To decorate the core of a fantasy flower, you can use a variety of materials. In the course will go: buttons, beads, beads and even feathers.

Second flower

Another flower I love for its simplicity. It always turns out different, the result is not predictable.

Fabric choice

We will make it from ordinary, synthetic organza. To make it friends with the fabric of the dress, you can include in its composition several petals from a suitable fabric for the dress. We cut the petals a little more than for the previous flower.

Forming petals

We clamp the petal with tweezers from the edge where it will be sewn into the middle. Carefully lower it over the candle flame. The edge of the petal is melted and twisted. The final shape can be given by slightly pulling in the desired direction. Just like with bulges, practiced movements come with a little experience.

flower assembly

First, we prepare the middle of the flower. It can be the same as in the first case, or you can embroider a fabric-covered button with mother-of-pearl beads of different shades. We collect the petals from the middle of the flower outward. From small ones we gradually move to larger ones.

Important! What is the advantage of this unpretentious flower - it is not afraid of bad weather. Without finishing and rare in our area, PVA perfectly keeps its original shape, even in bad weather.

There are many types of artificial flowers. These are miniature kanzashi that came to us from the culture of Japan.
The custom of decorating oneself to protect oneself from evil spirits is very ancient there. In any culture, it is customary to decorate yourself with fresh flowers. But fresh flowers quickly wither, an alternative from artificial plants comes to the rescue. The custom quickly takes root and is passed down from generation to generation.

Fabric jewelry is a very ancient accessory. The first appearance is dated in ancient China before our era. The flowers were made of silk, porcelain and gold. It was said about the masters that they see the soul of a flower, which is why their creations are so beautiful. Later, in ancient Greece, a reservoir of aromatic oils was worn in artificial colors.

Plants made from gelatin-impregnated fabrics were first made by Dominican monks in the seventeenth century. Since then, fashion has faded, then flares up with renewed vigor. They are always present in wedding and festive clothes.

Not every outfit goes with artificial flowers, but any girl has many reasons to wear a dress adorned with an original accessory. This is the continuity of generations and a tribute to the beautiful, which always has a place in our hectic world.

Wonderful decorative elements are, of course, fabric flowers to decorate the dress! Such accessories will easily transform your image and add charm and charm. Making an artificial flower from fabric on a dress is a whole science. Although novice needlewomen can also cope with simple flowers for a baby’s outfit, this will not require any special costs. But for inflorescences that are as close as possible to real ones, skill, patience and painstaking work are needed.

By creating fabric flowers on a dress, you can update and refresh your wardrobe. Also, these items make great gifts.

Origin of artificial flowers

Such accessories are a great addition to any outfit with the right choice of textures and shades. Every woman, whether a child or a lady of age, loves jewelry. They can be absolutely anything, and do-it-yourself sewn flowers on a fabric dress are generally unique and unrepeatable!

Note that the use of fabric flowers for decorating clothes came to us from ancient times. Even in ancient China and Egypt, such art was developed, and the wonderful handicrafts of artisans were insanely expensive. It was customary to pour such flowers abundantly with perfume to attract the opposite sex. Decorating the image with fabric inflorescences was available only to rich and noble ladies, for commoners this pleasure was closed. But time passed, and in the Renaissance, the French launched a wide production of such decor - accordingly, it became much cheaper.

And in our time, the number of inexpensive materials and decor has flooded the markets, so anyone can make such a miracle - there would be a desire!

Accessory versatility

Fabric flowers are appropriate for any occasion: at a wedding, party, funeral, going to restaurants, going for walks, etc. No piece of jewelry has such versatility as a fabric flower on dresses, T-shirts, jackets - and anywhere. It is clear that such products must be chosen correctly - an important role is played by the shade, size, texture. There is a whole direction of creating beauty from the material, they call it "silk floristry". The result of the activity are stunning flowers, completely indistinguishable from real ones. This art has become quite popular and recognized as official - just like origami.

Where can be used?

A small flower can enliven and add a festive atmosphere to anyone, even on a cloudy day. And when you make it with your own hands, it will become even more pleasant. When wearing fabric flowers on dresses, there are several important rules:

For example, for the office, it is better to choose a decoration that does not attract too much attention. Lush and bright flowers with rich decor may not fit into a business style. A strict formal outfit will be enlivened by a low-key solid rose, and a small chrysanthemum will perfectly suit a white blouse.

But for a walk, you can choose a larger and brighter decoration, but you should also not mess with stones and sparkles - leave this for special occasions.

For a romantic look, make flowers from organza or chiffon, for a more casual look - denim.

And finally for evening dress pick up a beautiful, large jewelry sparkling with rhinestones. The most interesting options are obtained when the opposite is combined. A chic look, for example, in the contrast of the shine of clothes and the dullness of jewelry.

Textile decor is remarkable in that it can make absolutely any outfit festive. Attach pretty fabric flowers to your outing dress for a vibrant look.

A separate topic is wedding textile decor. As a rule, these are delicate pastel or white flowers, but original ones are also quite possible - red, black. Use a fabric such as satin, chiffon or silk.

Floral arrangements, in addition to brides' dresses, are also placed in the hair, on shoes, as well as for the groom's boutonniere.

Most commonly used fabric

When creating flowers use:

  1. Organza (necessarily artificial), the flowers from it will turn out delicate, light, airy.
  2. Silk fabrics. They are usually taken for a luxurious evening dress. Silk tends to shimmer elegantly, exquisitely, the product turns out to be luxurious, which is completely unsuitable for daytime use.
  3. Satin fabric is also an evening option that is great for weddings too.
  4. Chiffon fabric - for elegant delicate flowers.

In general, any materials are used to create flowers. The only condition is a beautiful color, a suitable texture and, preferably, a natural composition. This fabric holds wrinkles well, the leaves are more delicate and elegant. Synthetic bristles, and getting a sophisticated look is unrealistic.

Do not seek to use expensive matter to make your first flower. Stock up on materials easier, cheaper. And only after acquiring some skills, feel free to take expensive fabric and accessories.

How to make flowers on a fabric dress with your own hands in a simple way?

It is much easier to go the easy way and buy a flower in a store, but how interesting it is to create everything with your own hands! You will not find such an accessory in anyone - because it is unique! To make flowers, you need to purchase:

  • material;
  • needles with threads;
  • beads, rhinestones, sequins;
  • candles or spirits.

Be sure to be patient - you will need it!

To give inflorescences natural color leaves are dyed with special dyes. Well, if there are none, then take ink or gouache. Sometimes the entire canvas of the material is painted, and it happens that the petals are already cut out.

The fastest way to make flowers is to twist a strip of fabric. This is done very simply!

For work you need:

  • burlap or linen;
  • glue;
  • lace;
  • beads.

First, cut a strip of fabric 10 cm wide and about a meter long. To create a flower in the style of Provence, glue lace on the strip.

Twist the resulting sharp corner and start twisting the strip, while wrapping around the center.

Tuck the end of the strip under the flower, on the underside, and fix with glue. Also carefully glue each place with a bad fit of the fabric strip.

From the felt, cut out a circle of a suitable size and glue it to the bottom of the rose. Attach the clasp.

The brooch is ready!

Weightless inflorescences - organza accessories

A very delicate and airy flower of stunning beauty can be made from this airy fabric. How to sew a fabric flower on an organza dress?

First, cut out several circles of various sizes. If possible, it is better if the smaller parts are darker in color, the middle ones are lighter, and the largest extreme ones are lighter. The more petals your flower has, the more voluminous it will turn out.

So, the petals are cut, now on the flame of a candle, process them so that the edges melt, but do not turn black!

Elements nest in each other, starting from largest to smallest. Carefully sew and attach stamens, purchased or from a bunch of threads, or sew on beads and stones.

From a dense, non-shrinking fabric, cut out a circle that fits in size and glue it while attaching the clasp. Ready!

Such an easy-to-make flower will be a wonderful decorative accessory for everyday occasions, as well as for a celebration!

Bright chiffon ribbon flower

The accent in clothes will be a voluminous, unusual element that will attract the attention of others.

For work you will need:

  • dress or t-shirt;
  • 2.65 m of chiffon ribbon about five centimeters wide;
  • 40 cm narrow green ribbon;
  • needle with thread.

Let's cut a wide ribbon into 10 segments of 25 cm each. We will process the edges with fire so that they do not crumble. Now each piece must be folded into 4-7 layers, fixed from one edge with pins.

On the bodice of the dress, lay out the first 5 petals in a circle. The middle remains free. Sew with a needle and thread.

Next next, sew 5 more petals, securing them closer to the center.

We make the middle from fifteen centimeters of the remaining tape, folding it with a bow.

We cut the green ribbon into 2 parts and sew them as stems.

That's all, a bright flower is done!

It can be located anywhere - in the middle, on the side, at the bottom of the skirt - as you like!

Flowers on a fabric dress, photo for inspiration

You can embroider the entire canvas of your dress with fabric flowers, choosing a shade of fabric for their manufacture that is well suited to the main fabric.

And you can attach such an accessory in only one place, for example, on the shoulder.
