Stands and baskets for Easter eggs made of paper. Egg stand for Easter - how to make it yourself DIY paper stands for Easter eggs

A post about how to make an egg stand with your own hands in literally 5 minutes. I collected it especially on the internet for those who haven’t had time to make it yet or don’t have the time, but want to, or for those who like to do handicrafts with children!!!

Easter is the most important Orthodox holiday, accompanied by a large number of customs and rituals.

How nice it is to get together with the whole family on the eve of the holiday, paint eggs and decorate the house while talking and joking. Together with your children you can make original egg cups, which will add a festive mood.

Egg holder can be made from scrap materials. Egg cells and wire and even old forks will be used. Very simple make an egg cup out of paper. You need to glue a strip of cardboard that fits the diameter of the egg and stick a pattern in the center of the strip. Many templates for paper coasters can be found on the Internet, but it will be more fun to draw them together with the children.

Here's another idea for a paper stand.

From cardboard packaging for eggs you will cut out nice cockerels

or fluffy chickens

You can also make egg coasters by painting them with paints and adding a little decor.

Stand made of wire in the form of paws will be very original table decoration.

And this student version

Made of iron mesh.

You will need: wire cutters, pliers, iron mesh, wire, spray paint.

We cut out a piece of iron mesh of the required size (about 20 cm) and roll it into a cylinder. We secure the joint with thin wire and paint it in a suitable color so that the structure looks uniform. We arm ourselves with pliers and give the stand the correct shape. Profit!

If the idea inspires, and there is still a lot of iron mesh left, that is, more difficult option crafts in the same style:

The tools are the same. This basket already consists of three fragments. We are now familiar with the middle one (see above), but here are the diagrams for the lower and upper parts:

The stands are simple in technique, but quite functional and original, and most importantly, you don’t mind throwing them away

Easter egg stand “Rabbit”

From old spoons

Creative from wire

For the stand we need to unwind 10 meters of wire. We begin to slowly wind with various turns, periodically trying on our egg. The main thing is to pay attention to the footrest. It should be stable. We glue our flower onto the resulting stand for the egg. So the creative egg stand is ready.

Napkin stand

Napkins (can be paper or linen)
Stapler (paper clips) - you can do it without them

Preparation method
Fold the napkin to create sharp corners.
Raise sharp corners to the top
Fold the bottom of the napkin upward into a “roller”
Straighten and tuck the sharp corners into each other (you can fasten them with a stapler or paper clips, but for me it held together well)

Beauty from trash

firstly, you need to cut it with the smallest scissors so that it is neat and the cells themselves do not break. You need to glue it together momentarily (PVA doesn’t hold! And when painting it wets and falls off)

And now we use the finished ones, coated with the final layer of varnish and thoroughly dried, for their intended purpose.

Make your own elegant egg baskets. In this case, you don’t even have to paint them!

HAPPY AND HAPPY EASTER!!!

An egg stand is a convenient device for lovers of soft-boiled eggs, as well as for serving the festive table for Easter.

It is inconvenient to eat boiled eggs in a regular plate, which is why they use stands and even trays with special recesses.

Single stands are the simplest option. They are containers with legs. Suitable for serving soft-boiled eggs and convenient not only for serving gala dinners, but also for everyday use.

The trays are round in shape and equipped with special recesses. They have small legs.

Egg plates are similar to regular plates, but have small sides or indentations. Plates with sides are suitable for serving already peeled or, for example, stuffed eggs, and models with recesses are suitable for setting the table for Easter.

Many egg lovers do not buy such stands, but make them themselves from available materials. Single stands are especially easy to use. You can do them with your children.

This activity is both pleasant and useful, especially on the eve of Easter. There are a lot of options for making stands. The materials used are paper, plastic, wire, beads, satin ribbons, threads.

Option 1 - made of paper

This master class is for those who want to make paper egg cup. To work, you will need regular, unbleached cardboard and a paper towel roll.

  1. Draw a circle on cardboard or trace a round object, such as a plate. Moving from the outer edge, cut it in a spiral. The lines do not have to be straight; on the contrary, with uneven lines the nest will turn out more magnificent and beautiful.
  2. Cut a ring from a paper towel roll. Glue one end of the spiral to the ring and wrap it around the ring. You need to cut off several pieces of paper from the spiral and curl it using a pencil.
  3. All that remains is to fix the second end of the spiral on the ring and secure the serpentines.

Option 1.1

Paper egg stand - lawn

For work, two types of green cardboard with different textures. From smooth paper we cut a strip about 4 cm wide, from textured paper - a little narrower, but longer.

Along one side long strip make cuts to create a grass effect. You can put letters on the long strip - the names of the guests.

Glue the strips together with glue to make a ring, place one ring inside the other, and put an egg inside.

Option 1.2

To work, you will need green cardboard and cardboard of two other colors for the petals. We cut out a strip from green paper, make a ring out of it and glue it together.

We cut out petals from colored paper - two sizes. We glue the larger ones to the ring first, then the smaller ones. So, you should get a stand that looks like a bright, beautiful flower.

Option 2 - satin ribbon egg cups

Another simple master class involves using a satin ribbon of any color and birch twigs. You can make a stand in just 15 minutes.

1. Before starting work, the twigs need to be soaked in hot water to make them softer and more manageable.

2. After this, they can be intertwined with each other. Birch branches cling well to each other, and no strings are needed for fastening. In this case, you need to form a small wreath from them.

3. Add more branches to the resulting frame until we get a wreath of the required volume.

4. Then we thread a satin ribbon through the branches and make a beautiful bow.

Option 3 - wire egg stand

If you have colored fluffy wire at home, which is usually used to decorate gifts, you can use it. It bends and easily takes any shape, so it is convenient for making crafts, including with children.

It was originally invented for cleaning smoking pipes, but today it is used in various educational methods for the development fine motor skills in preschool children.

The stand will be placed on wire legs. It will take no more than half an hour to make, and you can involve your child and invite him to make several coasters of different colors.

  1. To work, you will need a toothpick (it is better not to give it to children so as not to prick themselves) and twists about 30 cm long.
  2. We twist the three wires tightly in the middle and straighten the legs of the future stand. There are several twist options. You can make something similar to a one-legged piano stool; you can leave the legs straight or bend them to the sides and down. Experiments are not forbidden, which will definitely work out, because the wire is very pliable.
  3. This will give us the bottom of the stand. All that remains is to decorate the top in the same style. To prevent the egg from falling out, the upper ends of the wire should not be placed far apart.
  4. To finish our stand, you need to twist the ends of the wire onto it with a toothpick or pencil. The lower ends can be slightly bent to give the stand stability. Place the egg in the stand and check how firmly it holds.

Option 4 - from paper cord

This master class involves the use of paper cord. The weaving is simple, so even a child can do it. In addition to the paper cord, you need cardboard mugs and a needle.

1. Cut out a small circle from cardboard and make holes in an odd number along the edges. Then we cut small pieces of twine. We calculate the number of segments as follows: subtract one from the number of holes and divide in half.

3. After this, we begin weaving. The pattern is similar to basket weaving. We pass the cord one by one above and below the segments.

4. Once the stand is of the desired depth, all that remains is to trim the ends and tuck it inside.

If desired, you can decorate the stand with a handle. To do this, attach a piece of twine to the edge of the basket and wind the paper cord in a spiral.

As additional decor, you can use satin ribbons, as well as simple toys, which are also easy to make with your own hands.

It is customary to celebrate the Resurrection of Christ with obligatory paraphernalia. Easter in the minds of Christians is always associated with brightly painted eggs. Krashenki are given to each other and displayed as treats. An original egg stand for Easter will wonderfully decorate a holiday table. You can make it with your own hands using a variety of techniques.

Materials for making Easter egg stands

Of course, you can put the dyes on a regular plate, placing a tall Easter cake in its center. And colorful eggs will beautifully frame it in a circle.

But you can approach this issue creatively. After all, an egg stand, originally made with your own hands, can become the highlight of a festively decorated table.

You can do it in several ways. Manufacturing materials can also be very different. For example, use:

  • colored paper;
  • cardboard:
  • toilet paper roll cylinders;
  • papier mache;
  • straw;
  • willow twigs;
  • newspaper tubes;
  • salty dough;
  • polymer clay,
  • cold porcelain.

Stand “Grass” for quick paints

You can make cute little Easter egg holders in 5 minutes. Even the smallest children can help in the creative process.

You can make this egg stand for Easter with your own hands from ordinary colored paper. A green rectangle is cut out, the larger side of which corresponds to the volume of the egg with an allowance for gluing. Its width will be the height of the stand.

On one side, “noodles” are cut into a rectangle. It imitates grass. The workpiece is glued together to form a ring. The egg stand is decorated with a red or yellow paper flower on the side.

For Easter, you can also make a pot of natural grass with your own hands. Wheat poured into a glass in advance and moistened with water will sprout. You can put paint on top. It looks absolutely amazing!

Stand "Easter Bunny"

It is very useful to involve children in preparing the festive table. Therefore, you should decide in advance which egg stand for Easter you will make with your own hands.

A good option is to make a craft from the inner tube left over from toilet paper. If you paint it, glue on ears, a nose, and a bow, you can get a pretty funny egg stand for Easter. Even a preschooler can easily make it with his own hands. He will be terribly proud and pleased that he took part in such an important event - preparations for the meeting of the Resurrection of Christ.

Easter bunny with an egg on his back

Of course, there are other ideas for paper egg cups. Using the described algorithm, you can make many the most interesting crafts on the festive table. For example, you can complicate the work by having to do not only the rabbit’s head, but the entire animal.

To do this, glue a ring or take a cut part of a cardboard tube from toilet paper, onto which the animal’s head is glued to the front. It protrudes slightly above the top cut.

The front legs need to be glued underneath the head. They protrude forward from under the workpiece and lie on the table. The hind legs are also cut out of paper or cardboard. You just need to attach them directly to the side of the workpiece, moving it a little back.

The tail is made from a piece of cotton wool and glued to the back. This is how you can easily make a stand for an egg with your own hands.

“Chickens” - bags with dyes

Sometimes you make an original DIY Easter stand not for one, but for several eggs at once. In this case, the “pouch chicken” option is suitable.

Strong enough ones will imitate the bellies of chicks. You should put the dyes in them and tie them tightly with beautiful large bows.

The bags are glued to cardboard legs. Wings are attached to them on the sides. The head is made in the form of pompoms from threads and tied to the top of the bags, hiding the attachment point under a bow. You should glue button eyes and a paper beak onto the chicken's head.

Such stands for Easter eggs can be used in cases where the eggs act as decoration rather than as treats. After all, no one wants to spoil the beauty created with their own hands. Therefore, instead of real eggs, it is recommended to put imitation eggs in bags.

Box with colored eggs “Chicks”

You can glue a box out of yellow cardboard, attaching it in the place where the lid comes into contact with the main part. They will imitate the opening beak of a chicken. The paws are glued to the bottom, the wings to the sides, and the tail feathers to the back. All these parts are made from colored paper. Eyes are drawn or attached to the lid.

The boxes are placed inside and taken out as needed. Instead of chicken, you can make a hen or a rooster. And if you get creative, you can get an adorable rabbit from an ordinary cardboard box.

By the way, it is not necessary to glue the container yourself from scratch. You can use cut pieces from milk cartons, juice boxes, milkshakes, or smoothies for this purpose.

Wicker coasters for Easter eggs

Items made using the weaving technique look very beautiful on the holiday table. If you can get it, a stand made from them will become a real interior decoration. After Easter, you can hang it on the wall or use it as a bread plate.

Or you can also from newspaper tubes weave egg cups for Easter with your own hands. Schemes for making crafts using this technique are different. Usually weaving begins with the design of the “braid”. This is a criss-cross arrangement of six or more tubes.

The next part is already woven in a circle, making either a flat bottom or a slightly curved, rounded one. If the bottom is not planned to be separated from the walls, then the weaving algorithm is repeated until the work is completed. This is how plates and miniature baskets are made.

Cylindrical cup stands can be made without a bottom. In this case, the master works according to a circular vertical weaving pattern. Then the vertically located tubes are glued to the lower ring. It is made either from cardboard or from a finished tube.

You can try and make a shaped stand with a recess in the center, intended for Easter cake or cottage cheese. This is already more complicated, so you should refer to the master class, which provides step-by-step photos. But with some patience and diligence, you can get a wonderful Easter stand for eggs and Easter from newspaper sheets.

Making salt dough

It is impossible to buy this modeling material in handicraft stores. But salt dough is easy to make at home. It is enough to take flour and fine salt in equal weight proportions, mix in a bowl and, adding water little by little, mix. The result should be a substance very similar to stiff dumpling dough.

The difficulty here is that the specific gravity of salt is higher than that of flour. It’s easier to say this: if the ingredients are measured by volume, then to make the dough you need to take 2 times less salt. That is, 200 ml of flour is used per 100 ml. Of course, everyone knows that NaCl is a common table salt.

Crafts for Easter using salt dough using a microwave oven

Using this technique, you can make glasses for eggs, which are placed either on a round flat cake or on a stem.

In both cases, a circle is first cut out of the rolled out layer. Then sharp corners are formed at its edges. Sometimes, when they plan to make a glass with a smooth edge, this stage of work is omitted. Now you need to place the workpiece in the microwave for a minute, setting the defrost mode. The egg, which served as a template during modeling, should first be removed from the workpiece.

Next, a stand is formed and the workpiece is strengthened from below. The baking process is repeated. If, while removing the workpiece from the oven, the master discovers cracks appearing on the surface of the product, he covers them with a mass slightly moistened with water.

The baking procedure should be performed several times until the product acquires the desired hardness. Having achieved this, you can start coloring the craft.

You can use watercolors or gouache to apply the ornament. Although acrylic paints look very beautiful in the product. After painting, it is recommended to coat the craft with clear varnish. Even a hair fixing product in this case will add shine to the product and make it more practical.

“Chicken” - egg stand

A wonderful idea would be to make a variety of figures with rounded indentations on the back from salt dough. These could be rabbits, chickens, hens.

A master class will help you learn the sculpting process, where step-by-step instructions are presented. detailed instructions in photographs. Just remember that the cardboard parts should be removed from the preparations before baking, as they can ignite even in a microwave oven.

Egg coasters made of polymer clay and cold porcelain

They are also made from other materials in the same way as they are made. Polymer clay can serve as such.

This material is bought in children's handicraft stores. During operation, you should only strictly follow the instructions included with the kit.

Cold porcelain is a rather creative material today. This material is easy to use and does not require baking. It is quite easy to make it at home. However, during work, you should remember that during the hardening process, porcelain dries out by almost a third. Therefore, you should make a recess for the egg “with an allowance” to reduce the volume.

To prepare the plastic mass, you will need to mix 200 ml of corn starch, the same amount of PVA glue and 2 tablespoons of glycerin. You can add a little baby cream. Some masters recommend adding 2 tablespoons of baking soda to the mixture for fluffiness. But then, as the product dries, cracks may appear.

Handmade Easter egg stands will make your holiday table original, beautiful and fabulous.

Painting eggs for Easter is a common thing, but is it possible to make an original stand with your own hands? Or maybe just place the eggs on the dish as usual?

In fact, making a beautiful support will not take much time, but it will definitely add joy to the holiday. Especially for children, who, by the way, can also take part in this fun activity.

Of course, paper is the most accessible material, so it won’t hurt to learn how to make an egg stand for Easter from its varieties - ordinary sheets, cardboard, corrugated paper and so on.

Ship = stand

Again, let's start with the simplest. As children, we made paper boats and sailed them through the endless spring puddles. Perhaps someone played these fun games on Easter - fortunately, it always falls on a weekend. And hardly anyone thought that from such a boat (or rather, from two boats) you could make a very beautiful and stable egg stand with your own hands.

Step-by-step instructions for those who have forgotten how to make this toy:

The tongue can be bent well or carefully cut, but not to the very base, but a little higher, so that the craft does not “creep”. Of course, you need to draw circles, flowers and other decorative elements on paper. Or write "HB". In general, this task can be safely entrusted to the kids - they definitely won’t get confused. And making such a craft with the help of children is a pleasure!

Or you can simply buy paper with artistic design - preferably in light colors. Then the Easter table will sparkle with special spring colors: all household members will unconsciously feel this pleasant freshness.

Flower stand

Now let's move on to a slightly more complex paper egg stand, which, however, is also quite possible to make with your own hands and decorate the table for Easter.

We will need colored paper, as well as a cardboard tube, on which cling film and other similar materials are usually wound.

We will act like this:

  • First, we cut out the part of the tube we need - about 7-8 cm (we base it on the size of the egg).
  • We glue it on both sides beautiful paper(can be double-sided). And with the other sheet we do this: cut out a strip with a width corresponding to the tube, and cut it into a “fence”, with wide teeth that need to be bent (it’s convenient to use a pencil for winding).

  • We glue our “fence” onto the base, after which we make the next layer - it will go a little lower. By the way, it is better for the teeth to point in the other direction - you will get a pronounced volume effect.

  • Well, the lower part will consist of large petals - 4-5 in a row.

  • It turns out to be such a flower.

  • All that remains is to revive it and make a green base. We cut out a circle with a diameter slightly larger than the tube - the part that protrudes will turn into leaves when we cut them into strips.

  • All that remains is to glue this part to the craft - it turns out so beautiful.

CREATIVE ADVICE

Of course, fantasy can go further, because that’s what fantasy is for. For example, an egg can be decorated with a butterfly, and the petals can be cut approximately the same to make a rose. The result is a composition with which you can even paint a still life. Here is an original do-it-yourself egg stand - by the way, it will certainly become a source of special joy for children.

Quick version of a flower stand

And here is another version of paper crafts in the same style. Quickly cut out a ring from a paper tube (or you can buy a ready-made one from plastic), paint it or cover it with colored paper. We cut out paper petals of different sizes and glue them to the ring base. Our stand is ready!

And one more piece of advice. If you make all the petals of a flower from corrugated paper, you will get a very cozy, visually soft and warm craft. Yes, and it looks more natural.

“Bird” - a quick stand

If you take an ordinary paper egg box in which they were sold and cover it with paint (preferably from a spray can), you will get a very simple and original option.

It can also be cut into smaller models - for example, three or four cells.

If you have enough time, then you can arm yourself with paint and decorative feathers to make such a beauty.

At first glance, it would not seem that this stand is made of a box. However, if you look closely, it is clear that we are cutting out one cell, after which we paint it and glue a feather.

Step-by-step instructions on how to make such an egg stand for Easter are as follows:

  • We draw the boundaries of the future craft on the box - and don’t forget about the petals.

  • Now cut along the line with scissors.

  • We paint the future stand with paint of any color - the one you like. This must be done from all sides, including the inside.

  • When the paint dries, glue the feather.

  • Now you can imagine that we have a bird. And so that what we want becomes real, we bend its wings, cut out its beak and draw eyes.

Egg coasters made from improvised materials

Let's talk about those options for egg cups that can be easily and quickly made from other available materials.

Let's assume that there are only a few minutes left before the guests arrive. And then suddenly a thought came to mind - it would be nice to surprise your friends with something! And then this is what you can do in a hurry.

In the Provence style

Surely there is a shelf in the house on which fruits or sweets are placed. Let's try to temporarily remove sweets from it and add colored eggs. It would be nice to decorate them with straw or greenery - you will get an original decoration for the Easter table in Provence style.

You don’t have a bookcase at hand, but do you have artificial flowers? Wonderful! Take a salad bowl on a leg (or a bowl for ice cream) and decorate it as your imagination dictates. Here everyone has a chance to become a home designer - everything will probably turn out nice and cozy.

Of course, you can take a regular dish and decorate it with straw and artificial flowers. And also cut the grass from corrugated colored paper - and then the eggs will lie on the lawn.

From birch branches

Yes, you can make such a stand. And we will end up with not just an egg stand, but a beautiful Easter wreath. And for this you only need thin branches, hot water and a satin ribbon.

We will proceed like this:

  1. First, the branches need to be kept in water for several minutes.
  2. And then you can easily weave a wreath from them.
  3. To do this, all the twigs are arranged in parallel, and with the help of others, winding is carried out. It is preferable to take birch - it is easier to weave.
  4. Well, now we connect it with a satin ribbon and knit a regular bow with large ears.

It turns out so cozy original craft for Easter.

Of course, it is better to take the dye with a shell in red or orange shades.

You can make an egg stand for Easter from paper and other available materials. Sometimes even the most inconspicuous household items find a second life, if only you apply a little imagination and creative effort.

And then the Easter holiday becomes even more cozy and homely, because such a pleasant reason for family conversations appears on the table!

The birch trees stood up like white candles.
And the good news spreads over the earth:
