An unhealthy lifestyle is the lot of poorly educated people. We advise you to lead an unhealthy lifestyle Unhealthy lifestyle in

What is an unhealthy lifestyle, what harmful factors affect the duration of our earthly existence and how to get rid of bad habits? Australian scientists from the University of Sydney tried to assess and summarize the main factors that adversely affect our health and longevity. The results of this research are in today's article.

Data on the lifestyle, bad habits and health status of 230 thousand people aged 45 years and older were analyzed for six years. Six main factors have been identified that negatively affect the human body and increase the risk of early death:

  • Poor nutrition
  • Low physical activity
  • Sedentary lifestyle (where you have to sit for more than 7 hours a day)
  • Sleep more than nine or hours a night

Throughout the study, Australian scientists were able to study the effect of various combinations of the above harmful factors on life expectancy and health. It turned out that a person who has all 6 signs of an unhealthy lifestyle for a long time increases the risk of early death by 5 times! The combination of three harmful factors increases mortality by about 30%. By the way, even regular daily exercise and sports for an hour while maintaining a sedentary lifestyle for more than 7 hours a day only slightly reduces the risk of early death!

What diseases mainly affect people who spend most of the day in a stationary position (sitting for a total of 16-18 hours a day), eating poorly and refusing regular exercise and sports? These are, first of all, diseases of the cardiovascular system, diabetes, influenza and stroke, parkinsonism, liver diseases and malignant tumors of various locations. These illnesses ultimately lead to early death. But we have the power to change an unhealthy lifestyle and avoid mortal danger. And this does not require either expensive overseas medicines or complex operations.

How to eliminate the influence of harmful factors?

It is enough to change your lifestyle in a timely manner:

  • Quit smoking
  • Reduce the amount of alcohol you drink to 200-300 g (if it’s vodka or cognac) per week
  • Start doing morning exercises in the morning
  • Walk at least 3-5 kilometers during the day. If you also periodically (2-3 times a week) visit the pool, ride a bike, or train at home using one of the home exercise machines, it will be absolutely great
  • At work, every 1-2 hours, do a short physical exercise (get up, walk around the room for 2-3 minutes, do a few gymnastic exercises, move your gaze from the monitor screen to a distant object visible through the window for 30-60 seconds)
  • (4-5 times a day, varied food - meat and fish, cereals and vegetables, fruits and berries, nuts and freshly squeezed juices, eggs and cheese, avoidance of processed foods, fast food, smoked meats and preservatives)
  • Sleep – 7-8 hours a day (it is very advisable to fall asleep before midnight and get up in the morning, not at lunch)

In general, everything ingenious is simple. And no pill can replace these simple health measures. Your health is in your hands. But when you are already on the edge of the abyss due to an unhealthy lifestyle, all that remains for you is to lie in a hospital bed and drink mountains of medications. True, all these measures are no longer able to restore health. So don't waste time, start taking care of yourself!

With sadness I look at my departing comrades: one by one they leave restaurant halls, bar counters and market stalls filled with food and, putting on sneakers, join the camp of health fighters. Sneakers! These tacky shoes, smelling of Chinese slave labor and covered in logos. This sweaty vulgarity. Why do they, my comrades, need health if the fight for it costs so much? Why do they need an extra five years of life if they have to pay for them with twenty wasted years of running away from themselves, conversations overheard in the locker rooms of sports clubs, torn tendons, and sore knees? To regret what was missed in old age? Or to wait for another great year, when great wine comes from grapes? So there are many other great years, they have passed, and wine has reached the age when it should be drunk, when it should be enjoyed - at the table, with friends who are not running anywhere.

One of my friends constantly talks about losing weight, posts weight loss graphs on social networks, and doesn’t allow herself to be overweight. And what? She is now as thin as a Giacometti sculpture, her waist is like the stem of a wine glass, she is a girl in her fifties. But the girl’s skin is not a girl’s, it is crumpled parchment in which a chiseled skeleton is wrapped; What good is it that Japanese XS size skirts are fastened at a wasp waist if there is no life in this graceful figurine?

Why? When? Why has thinness become a measure of health and beauty? I’m not even talking about this friend of mine and the millions of bony anorexic girls swayed by the wind, I’m talking about completely healthy people - in soul and body - who exchanged the joy of eating Chinese noodles at night for the idea of existence in someone else’s body, a couple of sizes behind the one that its owner is prescribed by nature.

Still from the film "Guys with Guns."

Yes, once a belly was a sign of wealth, then the absence of a belly became exactly the same sign. But the truth is that today wealth has no external signs; that for the right to wear a Casio watch with dignity you will have to pay more than for any Rolex; that the T-shirts and jeans of poor people and billionaires are the same and that the only privilege of wealth is not to think about conventions, to get up at any time, to travel the world and not to diet. Because diet is slavery, and the only correct answer to the waiter’s question about allergies and intolerances is: “Cheap champagne.” It is the bad fizzy drink that is incompatible with health, not the food or drink in general. It is boring food, turned into arithmetic, that is a terrible poison. God gave us the senses to hear music, see colors, discern subtle aromas, and enjoy the taste of an aged beef steak. How, tell me, does the ability to understand Schoenberg differ from the ability to understand Burgundy? Nothing. By the way, today you cannot become a good cook without Schoenberg, Cy Twombly and Maurizio Cattelan, because what is served in the best restaurants is the same work as music with painting, as theater with cinema, and exactly the same served in the best restaurants is the result of a great scientific research.

In general, this healthy lifestyle of yours seems to me a perversion. No, I’m not against perversions, but not to the same extent, not to the point of abandoning all the best that civilization has given to its foolish children! Perversions should complement the picture of life, and not cut off banknotes. Perversion should be something pleasant. The love of oysters, after all, is also a perversion, but it cannot be compared with vile perversions like jogging through slush, fitness during rush hour, or swimming in a trough with bleach! This - jogging, fitness and swimming in the pool - are real perversions, this is something that should be talked about in a low voice, ashamed and without attracting attention. No, there is no need to fight a healthy lifestyle in the style of “Mi squared” (Mizulina multiplied by Milonov), but let the perverts do their job secretly, without proselytizing among young people, let them go about their business without noise or fanfare. Because health is not your waist size, not a six-pack on your stomach, not cross-country running and marathons, health is when you don’t faint from gluten, when your body absorbs lactose, when, after chewing a piece of cheese, you don’t run to repent, when you want a piece of meat quickly throw it on the grill and eat it, washed down with red wine, when you are tired of food – and of life! – you get pleasure, not guilt.

This whole healthy lifestyle is purely religious insanity. Perhaps, by attacking him, I am even breaking some law that protects ecstatic feelings from insult, and a group of World Witness Church parishioners are already running in their sweaty sneakers to the Zoological Court to sue. But I can’t give up my principles, the runners won’t shut my mouth, I swear by gluten! Just as I had lunch and dinner in the best restaurants in the world, I will continue this KNIFE of mine, my extremely unhealthy lifestyle, my crusade to the gastronomic Jerusalem shining with Michelin stars. And I also have faith - that this next heresy of yours will sink into oblivion without leaving a trace, because any way of life in which we do not harm each other is healthy. And by the way, my gourmetism and hedonism are useful to everyone, especially in times of crisis. Jobs are not created from your stupid running, but from my gluttony - how! Waiters carrying plates, cooks, cooks, dishwashers, farmers raising chickens, cows and vegetables, hunters killing game, gatherers and beekeepers, mushroom pickers, scientists studying the nutritional value of ants and bark beetles, carpenters making tables and chairs, restaurant critics - all depend on my appetite, my reluctance to run and lose weight, my wallet and, ultimately, my health. Health, but not a Healthy Lifestyle, myself, not my image! And yes, I'm spreading love. Love for brisket, for purple artichokes, for asparagus in season, for crooked fragrant apples, for handmade pasta, for olive oil, for chili peppers, wasabi, Dijon mustard, for old champagne, for tea from Taiwan, for Far Eastern scallops, for langoustines and sea urchins from the Faroe Islands, to marbled beef and fatty tuna belly, to tomatoes from Sicily and mozzarella from near Naples, to Parmesan, to Bayonne ham and truffle from Périgord, to boletus mushrooms, to white milk mushrooms with sour cream, to beluga caviar and bottarga, to duck eggs and goose liver, goat cheese, freshly baked bread and rustic butter, to dark chocolate, to ripened guava and slightly unripe figs plucked from a branch, to cilantro, celery root, grilled squid, lamb baked on the fire, to tom yum soup, to kulebyak with elm, to sauerkraut and lightly salted cucumbers, to single malt whiskey and watermelon, to potatoes in any form and to lentil soup, to frozen lard, to turnips, radishes and radishes, to huge white beans, to spring water and to you - dear brothers and sisters in gourmetism.

Since childhood, we have been taught that we need to lead a healthy lifestyle. It seems that everyone knows about this need, but, nevertheless, a significant number of people lead an incorrect, unhealthy lifestyle.

First, we need to understand what a “lifestyle” is and why it may be “unhealthy.”

Lifestyle is typical norms of behavior that allow one to maintain normal social connections and life support. A healthy lifestyle means that a person must take care of his health: eat right, do normal physical activity, maintain hygiene, etc.

Accordingly, an incorrect, unhealthy lifestyle is led by a person who does the opposite: does not care about his mental and physical health and is a socially unaccepted person. This way of life has recently become a global problem for all humanity. And all because we have a very vague idea of an unhealthy lifestyle and the harm that it brings to a person and humanity as a whole. When talking about an unhealthy lifestyle, only pictures of bad addiction habits pop up. But in reality, an unhealthy lifestyle includes many more categories.

Signs of an unhealthy lifestyle include:

1. Low level physical activity. A sedentary lifestyle leads to many different health problems, which overlap each other and give rise to serous diseases, primarily heart diseases.

2. Following an incorrect daily routine. This manifests itself in the incorrect distribution of time between work and rest. Rest is very important for health, it allows you to restore strength. Its long-term absence has a detrimental effect on human health.

3. The same is true for irregular, incorrect organized meals. A person needs a measured lifestyle, including when it comes to nutrition. The diet should be rich in all the vitamins and minerals the body needs. Meals should be regular, not one-time meals. And moderate - optimal for a person’s age and physical characteristics, without overeating or undereating. This also includes the problem of obesity, which arises from an improperly organized food system, in which a person regularly eats unhealthy foods and overeats. Unfortunately, children often encounter such a bad habit when they abuse sweets and fast food. Parents need to constantly monitor their child’s nutritional system.

4. Unhealthy mental reaction to stressful situations. In fact, such reactions are signs of mental illness: neuroses, outbursts of anger and despair, etc.

5. Failure to comply with personal hygiene rules: regular washing, providing clean clothes, brushing teeth, etc.

6. The presence of one or more bad habits, which, in their essence, are addiction. These are alcoholism, tobacco smoking, use of toxic substances, and gambling addiction. With such addictions, it is difficult for a person to cope alone; they destroy his life day after day. This requires timely qualified medical care.

7. Perverted ways to satisfy your material and spiritual needs. Materials include theft and bribery - everything that harms society. To the spiritual - various perversions.

As a rule, people leading an unhealthy lifestyle do not want to change it, because they consider it normal. They need outside help, they need people who will help them identify and eliminate their problem. Help your loved ones if you notice one of the problems in their life and pull yourself together and make every effort to change your lifestyle to a healthy one, if it is not so. Everything will definitely work out!

My wrong and unhealthy lifestyle

Health is more important than money. This is of course true, but even without money your health won’t be very good. That's how it is for me. For the past two weeks I have been forced to work every other day. This is without a doubt an unhealthy lifestyle. In such a regime, there was no question of playing sports and physical education. May God give you some rest and recovery.

What is an unhealthy lifestyle

What is it - an unhealthy lifestyle? In the traditional understanding, an unhealthy lifestyle is associated mainly with the presence of unhealthy habits in a person. This includes smoking and drinking alcohol, drugs, and so on.

This is all true. But the concept of an unhealthy lifestyle is much broader. In a more complete and correct understanding, the concept of an unhealthy lifestyle includes not only the habits listed above, but also a lifestyle in general that is not conducive to maintaining and improving health.

Explanatory dictionary of the Russian language S.I. Ozhegova defines the meaning of the word unhealthy as:

  1. Caused by ill health, painful
  2. Bad for health
  3. Unwell, sick
  4. Wrong, abnormal

So it turns out that an unhealthy lifestyle is the absolute opposite of a healthy lifestyle. Much has already been written about the latter on this site.

Tell me, does an office worker who spends most of the day on a chair at the computer, and even after work tries to lie down and relax, lead a healthy lifestyle? Of course not! This is also an unhealthy lifestyle. This daily routine will definitely not improve your health. And I want to rest after work because my body is weak and untrained.

A person needs to move a lot. The more a person moves and does some exercises, the less tired he will be from his immediate work. After all, he is used to much greater loads! And at the same time, this will help avoid many other health problems, including various diseases.

Factors and signs of an unhealthy lifestyle

There are so many people, so many opinions about healthy and unhealthy lifestyles. For some, drinking 3 liters of beer at a time is healthy and healthy (emphasis in different places). Some people don’t accept alcohol at all. The same goes for other issues. But still, experts see factors and signs of an unhealthy lifestyle in the following:

  1. Irregular or insufficient level of physical and physical activity
  2. Is there a lack of compliance with the daily routine?
  3. Improper or unbalanced diet
  4. Overwork and nervous breakdowns
  5. Inadequate rest
  6. Non-compliance or violation of hygiene rules
  7. Dissatisfaction with work, life situation
  8. Smoking, alcohol abuse, drug addiction

What will reduce the impact of an unhealthy lifestyle

What kind of progress is there in classes if there is no need to talk about the classes themselves? However, every cloud has a silver lining. And you can try to turn an unhealthy lifestyle into a healthy one, at least partially. You can still do physical exercise at work if you have a little time. Moreover, this can be done unnoticed by others. We are talking here about some exercises, including static loads.

Here, for example, are some exercises for those who are forced to lead a less than healthy lifestyle:

  1. Squat, holding your hands on a chair or the edge of a window sill. I did this exercise. You can read how this affected her health by following the link. I managed several sets of 20 squats per day.
  2. Straighten your back, correct your posture and tighten your stomach. Always monitor your posture and keep your stomach tense. After a while you get used to keeping an eye on it and it happens automatically. You walk slim and beautiful! By the way, this is very effective method lose a little excess weight.
  3. Tighten various muscles and keep them tense as long as possible. This can be done for completely different muscles. For example, we rest our palms on the table top and press on it until the muscles themselves weaken from fatigue. Or while sitting at the table, strain your thigh muscles. Such exercises can be performed for completely different muscle groups.
  4. Get up and walk whenever possible. Sitting less. This recommendation applies to most office workers, office workers and other sedentary workplaces.
  5. Buy some sneakers and run at least a little in your free time, before or after work. Running is the easiest way to maintain your health.

Protecting one's own health is the immediate responsibility of everyone; he has no right to shift it to others. After all, it often happens that a person, through an incorrect lifestyle, bad habits, physical inactivity, and overeating, by the age of 20-30 brings himself to a catastrophic state and only then remembers medicine.

No matter how perfect medicine is, it cannot rid everyone of all diseases. A person is the creator of his own health, for which he must fight. From an early age it is necessary to lead an active lifestyle, toughen up, engage in physical education and sports, observe the rules of personal hygiene - in a word, achieve true harmony of health through reasonable means.

Health is the first and most important need of a person, determining his ability to work and ensuring the harmonious development of the individual. It is the most important prerequisite for understanding the world around us, for self-affirmation and human happiness. An active long life is an important component of the human factor.

A healthy lifestyle (HLS) is a way of life based on the principles of morality, rationally organized, active, working, hardening and, at the same time, protecting from adverse environmental influences, allowing one to maintain moral, mental and physical health until old age.

There are three types of health: physical, mental and moral (social):

Physical health is the natural state of the body, due to the normal functioning of all its organs and systems. If all organs and systems work well, then the entire human body (a self-regulating system) functions and develops correctly.

Mental health depends on the state of the brain; it is characterized by the level and quality of thinking, the development of attention and memory, the degree of emotional stability, and the development of volitional qualities.

Moral health is determined by those moral principles that are the basis of human social life, i.e. life in a particular human society. Distinctive signs of a person’s moral health are, first of all, a conscious attitude to work, mastery of cultural treasures, active rejection of morals and habits that contradict the normal way of life. A healthy and spiritually developed person is happy - he feels great, receives satisfaction from his work, strives for self-improvement, achieving unfading youth of spirit and inner beauty.

An active and healthy person retains youth for a long time, continuing creative activity, not allowing the “soul to be lazy.”

1 . Basics of a healthy lifestyle

A healthy lifestyle includes the following basic elements: fruitful work, a rational regime of work and rest, eradication of bad habits, optimal motor mode, personal hygiene, hardening, balanced nutrition, etc.

Fruitful work is an important element of a healthy lifestyle. Human health is influenced by biological and social factors, the main one of which is work.

A rational regime of work and rest is a necessary element of a healthy lifestyle. With a correct and strictly observed regime, a clear and necessary rhythm of the body’s functioning is developed, which creates optimal conditions for work and rest and thereby promotes health, improves performance and increases productivity.

The next step in a healthy lifestyle is the eradication of bad habits (smoking, alcohol, drugs). These health problems cause many diseases, sharply reduce life expectancy, reduce productivity, and have a detrimental effect on the health of the younger generation and the health of future children.

The next component of a healthy lifestyle is balanced nutrition. When talking about it, you should remember two basic laws, the violation of which is dangerous to health.

The first law is the balance of energy received and consumed. If the body receives more energy than it expends, that is, if we receive more food than is necessary for normal human development, for work and well-being. Now more than a third of our country, including children, is overweight. And there is only one reason - excess nutrition, which ultimately leads to atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, and a number of other ailments.

The second law is the correspondence of the chemical composition of the diet to the physiological needs of the body for nutrients. The diet should be varied and meet the needs for proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, and dietary fiber. Many of these substances are irreplaceable because they are not formed in the body, but come only with food. The absence of at least one of them, for example, vitamin C, leads to illness and even death. We get B vitamins mainly from wholemeal bread, and the source of vitamin A and other fat-soluble vitamins are dairy products, fish fat, liver.

Not every one of us knows that we need to learn a culture of reasonable consumption and refrain from the temptation to take another piece delicious product giving extra calories or causing an imbalance. After all, any deviation from the laws rational nutrition leads to poor health. The human body consumes energy not only during periods of physical activity (during work, playing sports, etc.), but also in a state of relative rest (during sleep, lying down), when energy is used to maintain the physiological functions of the body - maintaining a constant body temperature . It has been established that a healthy middle-aged person with normal body weight consumes 7 kilocalories per hour for every kilogram of body weight.

The first rule in any natural nutrition system should be: - eat only when you feel hungry.

Refusal to eat in case of pain, mental and physical malaise, fever and elevated body temperature.

Refusal to eat immediately before bed, as well as before and after serious work, physical or mental.

It is very important to have free time to digest food. The idea that exercise after eating helps digestion is a grave mistake.

Meals should consist of mixed foods that are sources of proteins, fats and carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. Only in this case is it possible to achieve a balanced ratio of nutrients and essential nutritional factors, to ensure not only a high level of digestion and absorption of nutrients, but also their transportation to tissues and cells, their complete absorption at the cellular level.

Rational nutrition ensures proper growth and formation of the body, helps maintain health, high performance and prolong life.

People suffering from chronic diseases need to follow a diet.

It has an important impact on health and the environment. Human intervention in the regulation of natural processes does not always bring the desired positive results. Violation of at least one of the natural components leads, due to the existing relationships between them, to a restructuring of the existing structure of natural-territorial components. Pollution of the surface of the land, the hydrosphere, the atmosphere and the World Ocean, in turn, affects people’s health, the “ozone hole” effect affects the formation of malignant tumors, air pollution affects the condition of the respiratory tract, and water pollution affects digestion, sharply worsens general state human health, reduces life expectancy. However, health obtained from nature depends only 5% on parents, and 50% on the conditions surrounding us.

In addition, it is necessary to take into account another objective factor affecting health - heredity. This is the property inherent in all organisms to repeat the same signs and developmental features in a number of generations, the ability to transmit from one generation to another the material structures of the cell containing programs for the development of new individuals from them.

Biological rhythms also affect our health. One of the most important features of the processes occurring in a living organism is their rhythmic nature.

It has now been established that over three hundred processes occurring in the human body are subject to a circadian rhythm.

Optimal motor mode is the most important condition for a healthy lifestyle. It is based on systematic physical exercise and sports, which effectively solve the problems of strengthening the health and developing the physical abilities of young people, maintaining health and motor skills, strengthening the prevention of adverse events. age-related changes. At the same time, physical education and sports act as the most important means of education.

It is useful to take the stairs without using the elevator. According to American doctors, each step gives a person 4 seconds of life. 70 steps burns 28 calories.

The main qualities that characterize physical development human beings are strength, speed, agility, flexibility and endurance. Improving each of these qualities also helps improve health, but not to the same extent. You can become very fast by training in sprinting. Finally, it is a good idea to become dexterous and flexible by using gymnastic and acrobatic exercises. However, with all this it is not possible to form sufficient resistance to pathogenic influences.

For effective recovery and disease prevention, it is necessary to train and improve, first of all, the most valuable quality - endurance, in combination with hardening and other components of a healthy lifestyle, which will provide the growing body with a reliable shield against many diseases.

Hardening is a powerful healing tool. It allows you to avoid many diseases, prolong life for many years, and maintain high performance. Hardening has a general strengthening effect on the body, increases the tone of the nervous system, improves blood circulation, and normalizes metabolism.

Another important element of a healthy lifestyle is personal hygiene.

Personal hygiene - it includes a rational daily regimen, body care, hygiene of clothes and shoes. The daily routine is also of particular importance. When followed correctly and strictly, a clear rhythm of the body’s functioning is developed. And this, in turn, creates the best conditions for work and recovery.

Uneven living, working and living conditions, individual differences between people do not allow us to recommend one daily regimen for everyone. However, its main provisions must be respected by everyone: implementation various types activities at strictly defined times, proper alternation of work and rest, regular meals. Particular attention should be paid to sleep - the main and irreplaceable form of rest. Constant lack of sleep is dangerous because it can cause exhaustion of the nervous system, weakening of the body's defenses, decreased performance, and deterioration of well-being.

The study of morbidity has led to the conclusion that the cause of the vast majority of diseases is various violations of the regime. Chaotic eating at different times inevitably leads to gastrointestinal diseases, going to bed at different times leads to insomnia and nervous exhaustion, and disruption of the planned distribution of work and rest reduces performance.

The regime has not only health-improving, but also educational significance. Strict adherence to it fosters such qualities as discipline, accuracy, organization, and determination. The regime allows a person to rationally use every hour, every minute of his time, which significantly expands the possibility of a versatile and meaningful life. Each person should develop a regime based on the specific conditions of their life.

It is important to follow the following daily routine (Figure 1):

Get up at the same time every day, do regular morning exercises, eat at set hours, alternate mental work with physical exercise, observe personal hygiene rules, keep your body, clothes, shoes clean, work and sleep in a well-ventilated area, go to bed at the same time!

Figure 1. It is important to follow the following daily routine

2. Why do people drink and smoke?

Science currently completely excludes any benefit of alcohol and nicotine for the body. The harm is enormous. Causing a number of the most serious diseases, worsening the course of any disease, alcohol and tobacco shorten a person’s life itself.

Why then do people drink and smoke?

The reason for a person's craving for alcohol and tobacco lies in its euphoric effect. Having drunk, a person feels more courageous; it begins to seem to him that he can easily overcome all the difficulties and hardships of life. This state is especially liked by weak and weak-willed natures. After two or three such techniques, the drug takes over and gradually takes over the person completely.

Scientists believe that most often people who become dependent on alcohol and smoking are those who are insufficiently organized, who are easily suggestible, who fall under the influence of others, who are vulnerable, unadapted to life, infantile, who want to escape from reality, who are unable and unable to endure life’s hardships.

The spread of drunkenness and smoking is greatly facilitated by the psychological climate, the attitude of people towards the use of alcohol and tobacco, in which a person lives and works. At the same time, public attitude towards the consumption of intoxicating substances often begins with a small group, friends, comrades. Efforts to explain the harm caused by alcohol and tobacco to human health have been unconvincing and inconsistent. Paradoxical as it may seem, the fight against drunkenness and smoking is often waged by drinkers and smokers. It is no coincidence that such propaganda does not go beyond the scope of “cultural” drinking and essentially speaks only against extremes.

Drinking and smoking are becoming more and more common in our country.

Every year, half a million new alcoholics are added to the country - these are those who are registered. Every third death is a victim of alcohol.

Profound and irreversible changes occur in the human body under the influence of alcohol and tobacco. These poisons are very insidious. It seems to a person that this dope is light and pleasant, creates the appearance of fun and a good mood, in a word, is completely harmless, and yet in a person there is an accumulation of those serious consequences that ultimately upset his health and shorten his already short human life. The insidiousness of these poisons lies in the fact that it is very difficult to get rid of their addiction.

3. Effect of alcohol on the brain

What happens to brain tissue cells deprived of oxygen and nutrition? They die. Hundreds of thousands and millions of cells die in all systems and tissues of the body, which, obviously, were not superfluous. The number of dead cells depends on the quantity and quality of alcohol.

Nature created us thoroughly, and some of the cells in the tissues are restored due to the formation of new cells, while neurons in the cerebral cortex die irrevocably. We have from 14 to 17 billion of them, but there are no extra ones. And after every glass of wine, glass of vodka, glass of champagne or mug of beer, a huge number of neurons die, short-term memory suffers, and then long-term memory suffers from systematic consumption, albeit rare. After each dose of alcohol that enters the body, a person necessarily becomes irreversibly stupider. This process occurs gradually and unnoticed by the person himself. Alcohol stays in the brain from 8 to 30 days.

The insidiousness of alcohol is enhanced by the fact that the human body from birth has approximately a 10-fold supply of capillaries, therefore alcoholic disorders of the circulatory system and their consequences will begin to appear in later years, when the “reserve” of capillaries is gradually depleted.

Figure 2. Brain structure

4. Influencetobacco smoke on the blood and brain

Nicotine acts on the blood in the same way as alcohol, only the blood clots are smaller - up to 100 red blood cells, but nicotine 10 minutes after a person lights up, causes a persistent narrowing of blood vessels, which lasts about an hour. And the cutting off of small vessels and capillaries also occurs, and memory also suffers (watch those who smoke).

Dead neurons are not restored, but are carried out, washed out, like other dead cells, and the brain becomes smaller, the phenomenon of brain shrinkage occurs (Figure 3).

Figure 3. Effects of tobacco smoke on the brain

5. INsmoking tobacco on the respiratory system

In the area of the respiratory tract of large cross-section, a cough develops and sputum production is activated. The small airways become inflamed and narrowed. Prolonged exposure to smoke has a damaging effect on the epithelial cilia and impedes their normal functioning. Chronic bronchitis of smokers leads to disruption of mucus secretion by cilia. Smokers' lungs show increased levels of inflammatory cells. Asthma attacks occur more frequently and become more severe severe form. There is a tendency to relapse of respiratory infections.

When smoking one pack of cigarettes, a person receives a dose of radiation 7 times higher than the MPC (maximum permissible concentration). And if we take into account the fact that radioactive particles also enter the body as a result of the decay of tobacco isotopes of lead and bismuth, then the total dose of radiation received by a person increases up to 100 times, i.e., a smoker is exposed to deadly rays every day, almost 30 times higher than the MPC . But he doesn’t wear a lead spacesuit, which means he hits those who are next to him with these rays. And these are, first of all, children and wives.

A person, having smoked just 1 cigarette, absorbs as many heavy metals as he would absorb while standing on a busy highway and inhaling exhaust fumes for 16 hours.

All tobacco components are foreign to humans; they cause difficult-to-reversible and sometimes irreversible changes in vital organs. At the same time, it has been established that the consequences of chronic tobacco poisoning can disappear if the smoker gives up his habit forever.

After eight, and sometimes even five years, basic health indicators are restored.

Figure 4. Effect of tobacco on the respiratory system

95% of people suffering from various respiratory diseases are smokers. These are bronchitis, pulmonary hypertension, pulmonary heart failure, pneumonia, allergic diseases, tuberculosis, lung cancer.

6. The influence of alcohol and tobaccosmoke on the central nervoussystem

When a person solves a problem assigned to him, at that moment the electrical conductivity of his fingers decreases, he gets angry (catabolic phase), but then a moment of insight comes, the electrical conductivity jumps (delight), thousands of neurons are included in the thought process, and when the entire cortex turns on , then they work together to find a solution (anabolic phase), and sometimes one area killed by alcohol is not enough to solve the problem.

A person must constantly pose problems and solve them; at least 5-6 bursts per hour must be of different sizes in order for a person to train his brain.

And if a person does not think, the mind does not progress, the stock of knowledge does not replenish - the person will become stupid.

Health is an invaluable asset not only for every person, but also for the entire society. When meeting or parting with close and dear people, we wish them good and good health, since this is the main condition and guarantee of a full and happy life. Health helps us fulfill our plans, successfully solve the main tasks of life, overcome difficulties, and, if necessary, significant overloads. Good health, wisely maintained and strengthened by the person himself, ensures a long and active life.

A person is born to live 150-200 years, but with an incorrect lifestyle, unhealthy diet, bad habits, stress, etc., he inexorably shortens his life, bringing it to 50-70 years. Is it possible to live healthy, maintaining clarity of thought and interest in life until old age?

Examples of centenarians give a positive answer to this question. As a rule, all centenarians have a good disposition, do not drink or abuse alcohol and nicotine, lead an active lifestyle, and engage in physical labor.

One of the prerequisites for good health is the ability of the body's defenses to withstand adverse factors (cold, heat, wind, stress, etc.). And you can achieve this by training your body, hardening it.

7. About the dangers of drugs

Every person is proud and freedom-loving by nature. None of us is alien to self-esteem and the desire for a full life. But how we are assessed in society, who we are accepted for, completely depends on ourselves, on our behavior, on our actions. A person is free to direct his actions, but there is a force that turns a person into nothing, equates him with the most stupid and vile creature. Deprives him of everything sublime that sets him apart from the surrounding world of creatures.

Figure 5. This terrible power lies in drugs.

Many do not know and believe that drugs - morphine, cocaine, anasha, plan, marijuana, etc., are the subject of smuggling, and completely let them out of sight, mentally ennobling alcohol and nicotine - “time bombs”, which, causing persistent addiction and painful addiction to oneself, for many years they do their dirty work in the human body, decomposing it both physically and morally.

A person who uses drugs in any form becomes weak, easily susceptible to bad influence, because his cerebral cortex is blocked, his will is paralyzed, he becomes an easy “prey” for any dishonest person, his instinct of self-preservation does not work. Even with one-time intoxication, girls become easy prey and earn themselves various vein diseases.

8. Caution AIDS

AIDS is now considered the most terrible disease of the century. It is caused by specific viruses. The virus, entering the blood, damages the body's protective (immune) system, which makes a person defenseless against germs and tumors.

The disease develops slowly - it begins with enlarged lymph nodes, fever, prolonged intestinal disorders, sweating, and weight loss. In the future, pneumonia, pustular skin lesions, and malignant tumors occur. All this leads to the death of the patient. AIDS IS STILL INCUREABLE!

AIDS infection occurs:

During sexual contact with patients or infected with AIDS viruses - 80% of diseases;

As a result of the use of unsterile syringes, mainly by drug addicts - 15% of diseases;

By introducing blood or drugs containing the virus - 1%;

From a pregnant woman infected with AIDS to children.

The AIDS virus is not transmitted in any other way.

When studying the spread of AIDS throughout the world, it was found that its main carriers and its first victims are people who have promiscuous sex. Adolescents in the United States are considered to be at high risk for AIDS. It has been revealed that people suffer from it more often at the age of 20-29 years, and since the latent period of the disease is 1-4 years or more, it is clear that AIDS is the result of drug use (and infection through a syringe) or promiscuous sex life in adolescence.

Death from AIDS is painful: a person rots, molds alive, and nothing can be done to help him - medicine is still powerless.

Conclusion

Health is an invaluable asset not only for every person, but also for the entire society. When meeting or parting with close and dear people, we wish them good and good health, since this is the main condition and guarantee of a full and happy life. Health helps us fulfill our plans, successfully solve the main tasks of life, overcome difficulties, and, if necessary, significant overloads. Good health, wisely maintained and strengthened by the person himself, ensures a long and active life.

Scientific evidence suggests that most people, if they follow good hygiene rules, have the opportunity to live to 100 years or more.

Unfortunately, many people do not follow the simplest, science-based norms of a healthy lifestyle. Some become victims of inactivity (hypodynamia), which causes premature aging, others overeat with the almost inevitable development in these cases of obesity, vascular sclerosis, and in some - diabetes mellitus, others do not know how to rest, be distracted from production and household worries, are always restless, nervous, suffer from insomnia, which ultimately leads to numerous diseases of the internal organs. Some people, succumbing to the addiction of smoking and alcohol, actively shorten their lives.

So, let's once again think through our life tasks and goals, thereby allocating time to strengthen our health.
