For example, for a standard skirt, at least 50 pieces of tulle material are used, all of them have rectangular shapes. The width of such a segment should have a parameter of 20 centimeters, and the length of the rectangle should be done when first measuring the height of the child. The fabric is very easy to work with, as it is easy to cut, therefore, it is quite convenient to fold in layers and cut in the size of several pieces.

Elastic band for belt

Next, we take elastic as the main solution for the belt. The elastic parameter should be 2 centimeters in the width option. The length is calculated based on your child's waist circumference. It should be less than 5 centimeters than the circle itself. It is very important to take a dense gum material, preferably high-quality. Next, you need to tie the elastic in a knot, you can use the services of a mock-up or a chair.

Tulle strips

We work with Fatin. To do this, you need to take one strip of tulle, then fold it into two parts and then tighten the knots that help create a loop inside the belt, its elastic bands. The strength of the knot should be tight, but at the same time, the fabric should not press down on the properties of the elastic and prevent it from performing its working functions. Otherwise, the elastic will lose its properties and stretch, which means that it will be difficult to work with waist fit adjustments in the future. The process continues further, putting strips of tulle on the belt along the entire length of the elastic band. The skirt will be fluffy only if there are a large number of strips of tulle. Then, you can process the loops with a satin ribbon, which is tied with a bow at the end.

Now we need to complete the skirt itself. Such a skirt should be made in the “sun-flared” format. For those who do not know, this is a circle where there is a hole for the waist. Next, you need to carve out the very sun - an element of the skirt. To do this, the fabric must be folded four times. The length for the fabric should be equal to a value of 20 centimeters, and also have a reserve of 2 centimeters for the hem at the bottom, as well as for the sewing process under the belt. After, we work with cutting tulle.

Connecting strips

So, we get full-fledged 3 pieces of tulle material:

The two-meter tulle must be folded again, four times. After that, we mark the length for the bottom element of the layer. In our case, it turns out 20 centimeters, adding two more. Then, two strips are cut off and sewn together. As a result, we get a rectangle with a length of 22 centimeters and a width of 4 centimeters. Repeat the steps for the remaining two layers with dimensions of 20 centimeters and 18 centimeters.

Connect elements

Next, you need to connect and collect the material. To do this, you need to pick up the rectangles using the long side. In this case, a sewing machine and a foot for this are perfect. It is necessary to determine the large stitch and set the thread tension to the highest value. The dress is ready, now it remains only to try it on your daughter and feel the quality of the work done. If there are any details, correct for the figure or improve the shape. Step 1. Cutting tulle into strips.

We cut the tulle into strips 10 cm wide and up to 25 cm long, depending on the desired length of the skirt.

How to use a clerical knife for making strips:

• We make a strip template from cardboard 10 cm wide and 25 cm long.
• We put a piece of linoleum, a patchwork rug or an old magazine on the table (so as not to cut the surface of the table with a clerical knife during work). On it is a tulle folded in half.
• We apply a template to the edge of the tulle folded in half.
• Next, along the ruler, cut off the strip with a clerical knife.

Step 2. Prepare the snowflake costume belt.

We take a wide elastic band and sew it into a circle (according to the size of the child's waist). This will be the belt of our tutu skirt.

Step 3. We make a skirt tier template.

We make another cardboard template as wide as an elastic band and 15 cm long. This template will help us neatly and evenly tie tulle strips onto an elastic band.

Step 4. We begin to collect a tier of a skirt.

For this:

• apply cardboard template, made by us in step 3, to the elastic band - the belt.
• we fold one strip of tulle in half, we wind it under the elastic band so that we get a loop (the fold of the strip “looks” up),
• we wind the ends of the tulle strip into the resulting loop, tighten the knot.

• We squeeze and lay out the snowflakes on a hard surface, straightening their rays.
• When the snowflakes are a little dry, they must be ironed through a cloth.

We paint the snowflakes with acrylic paints (slightly) so that they do not get lost on the white background of the costume.

We decorate the girl's costume with snowflakes. We sew snowflakes on a gymnastic leotard, cuffs and Czechs, hang them on strings on a tulle skirt, decorate the child's hair with them. Irina's daughter even had a small snowflake attached to a plastic ring.

Our costume will consist of a top and a skirt. The easiest way is to buy a top in a store or find it in your own closet. It can be either a white T-shirt or longsleeve, or a T-shirt with thin spaghetti straps or a light blouse. In addition to white, the top can be silver, blue or milky. If you want to make a top yourself, then the easiest way is to sew it from satin on thin straps, with a zipper at the back.

The lower part of the image will consist of a skirt. We will need to sew it completely on our own. With the help of precise step by step instructions it won't be as hard as you think. So:

DIY crown

What a snowflake without a fabulously beautiful headdress! The best option would be a do-it-yourself crown. The ideal basis for a delicate crown is a regular hair hoop. Take it immediately in white or pale blue, or wrap it around satin ribbon in the same shades.

• make a frame out of wire in the shape of the characteristic teeth of a crown and wrap it with silver tinsel;
• stores sell ready-made plastic snowflakes for home decor and Christmas trees. You can easily cut them out of cardboard yourself. With their help, you can decorate the crown, for example, by cutting them into halves and gluing them to the hoop (see example in the photo). You can complement the product with beads, rhinestones, sequins and other shiny things;
• from transparent plastic bottle cut out the frame in the shape of a crown. Paste it with white knitted or nylon lace. You can also use tulle. Decorate the accessory with pearls or silver "rain".

What to wear on the legs?

As shoes for the baby, you can use shoes, sandals or Czechs for sports and dancing. Do not buy high heels for a little girl, no matter how smart they look.. It is better to stay on shoes with a flat sole or a 1-2 cm platform.

White shoes or Czech shoes can be decorated on your own. To do this, you can use fur pom-poms, rain or silver-colored tinsel, snowflakes from tulle, ribbons or lace. Sandals are usually already decorated with beautiful elements, so do not overload the image.
