Do-it-yourself gnome made of felt patterns. How to sew a gnome from an old sweater. Wooden gnomes for the garden

Tolkien as a Vedic writer

Laughter causes attempts by Christians to present Tolkien as a Christian writer. This indicates a complete misunderstanding of the Anglo-Saxons in general and an elementary inability to analyze.
Recall that the Anglo-Saxons profess the principle of "changing the internal content under the old sign." Tolkien based his works on the myths of the white race, which later dissolved into national myths. In turn, they are based on the northern Vedas, a truncated copy of which is the timely Indian Vedas. By the way, what the Kremlin is now giving out as the Vedas and what is called the Svalyan-Aryan (here is Tartaria, where there is not a word about the rights of the inhabitants of this very Tartaria, but only some kind of greatness) Vedas are not Vedas (Melkor's distortion?), since there is not a word about self-knowledge (meditation), establishing control over reality and managing it.
Christianity itself, namely the teaching of Jesus Christ, originated in Judea, a province of the Roman Empire, through which there was trade with India. Jesus Christ lived in India from the age of 12 to 33 and after. There is a grave there. Accordingly, in Judea, he preached the Vedic teaching, which was later edited at the Ecumenical Councils. The Sermon on the Mount is dedicated to the ability to think, to distinguish between false and true information. It is filled with a whole range of complex concepts that would give pseudo-Christians a headache just because of their stupidity. It's not for you to crawl on your knees in front of the slave-owning god Yahweh.
Christianity is an Indian Vedic doctrine, which came to the Middle East (Judea), then to Rome and was 99% curtailed by the Ecumenical Councils.
Knowledge of the northern Vedic tradition was transmitted in England in closed societies, which are called Masonic, and today are available to everyone, since no one hides them. Freemasons measure, not obey the will of God the slave owner. That is, they think, but do not believe - they accept facts without evidence. Therefore, Tolkien is a Vedist under the Christian flag and nothing more.
Melkor is not Satan. Satan is bad in Christianity because he does not obey the will of God. Melkor did not have to rise to the will of Eru (the One), and his activities contrary to him are another integral part of the plan of Eru himself. The conditional negative of Melkor is that he does not create, but destroys and distorts - these are Vedic concepts aimed at understanding what is conditionally good and what is bad, and not some slavish absolute prohibitions as in Christianity.
Gandalf calls himself wise, that is, seeing cause and effect relationships. Others equal to him are called wise. Christians have wisdom, then knowledge is not held in high esteem. For Christians, knowledge increases sorrow. Eru is an esthete, and there is no aesthetics in Christianity at all, self-flagellation and squalor are encouraged. Orcs were aesthetically disgusting to Eru, while Christians believe that all humans should have lived like orcs. And the Era did not destroy the orcs, but let them live in peace, as well as the Numenoreans. The destruction of Numenor is not the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah because of the wrong way of life in general, but its destruction was due to an attempt on the lands of the immortals. Elves do not reincarnate, but people just reincarnate, that is, they go to no one knows where - they do not remember their previous incarnations. Analogue of the veil of Melien. In a number of early works, Eru says that he is not a person in the understanding of people, but a very complex system that needs to be known, that is, experienced. This is also evidenced by the dialogue between Finrod and Andreth, which indicates the complexity of Eru. And complexity is the concept of a knower, but not a believer.
Let's add that Tolkien's map of the world coincides with the map of Europe. And in the unfinished Oxford cycle, Tolkien directly indicates that in the 20th century, a certain group of scientists visited the knowledge of Atlantis (Númenor), and Aman today is North America. It is logical to assume that the direct route to Valinor is connected with the Bermuda Triangle, since it prevents people from getting from Europe to the USA and they disappear to no one knows where.
In general, there are no Christians anymore, since in Christianity all power comes from God or from Satan. But 99% of the modern population read stories like "Harry Potter", play Online Games such as "Skyrim", "The Witcher", etc., where they themselves are the acquirers-carriers of power. She is not from God and not from the Devil. Similarly, Tolkien's power lies even in objects, and does not come from God or Melkor. 99% of people today thus adhere to the Vedic worldview on the basis of the fact that they themselves comprehend themselves and their capabilities. The emperors of Europe had statuettes of Aphrodite, Zeus and other pagan gods, which are the personification of Vedism, but not the crucifixion. In Constantinople there were temples dedicated to Zeus, Aphrodite, etc., many frescoes with naked girls, like the Indian Kamasutra, and no one went to Christian churches according to the Byzantine chronicles.

This is not just a character of fairy tales and legends, a gnome is a small creature that lives for about 400 years. After a couple of centuries, he finds a wife and creates a family, as a result he will have a couple of kids. The gnome is engaged in smoking a pipe, and also hides the treasure. Consider several options, of which you are sure to find your taste.

Funny Christmas elf

The first to us will be a little elf. This is a magical gnome, which became known to us thanks to the Celts. Elves are wise and most often wear a red caftan and a green cap.
But your imagination can imagine it in other colors.

To make such a New Year's gnome with your own hands, you will need:

- wooden beads of different sizes;
- round ball (face);
- oblong ball (body);
- bell;
- gun with hot glue;
- felt;
-scissors;
-ribbon.

We make a funny elf with our own hands

1) It consists in creating a cap. We take the felt and cut out a circle 5 cm in diameter, cut it in half. We turn one half into a cone, gluing along the edge. Sew a bell to the top. Just three actions and the cap of our elf is ready!

2) At this stage, we will make an elf scarf. We take felt of a different color. We cut out a strip 1 * 10 cm. The edges of the strip can be cut a little, creating a fringe.

3) We pass to the most interesting. We collect a little man from two wooden balls - a body and a face. Between them we leave a gap for attaching hands with knots.
As handles - strung beads (6 small ones, 2 large ones), which are also fixed with a knot at the bottom. The legs are made according to the same principle, only small beads can be taken 8 pieces, and large ones also 2.

4) The most interesting is decoration. Tie a tie around your neck, a ribbon on the cap to hang on the Christmas tree.

It will take quite a bit of time to make such a cute Christmas gnome.

Serious tilde gnome

If the previous elf seems very simple option, then use the New Year's tilde gnome pattern to sew a cute new tenant in your house.

Make patterns on paper so that you can then cut out as many details on the fabric as indicated in the pattern picture. You will get not just one gnome, but almost a garland of three Christmas gnomes. Patterns have already been transferred to the fabric, you can cut out the details.

We cut out the torsos from white / beige fabric, not forgetting the seam allowances.

We sew the cut out parts, leaving a piece for eversion at the bottom.

Turn inside out and tuck in this unsewn edge.

Sew and turn the legs, as well as the scarves of the gnomes.

Fill all the details with cotton wool, synthetic winterizer or holofiber. Sew the legs to the body.

Clothing can be made from any fabric. Stitch the shoulder seams, process the neckline, side seams, tuck the sleeves.

Sew the trousers of the gnomes first along the upper seams, only then the legs themselves.

It remains to tuck in the length and belt.

Now you can dress up our gnomes.

If you want the pants to fit snugly in the waist, then pleat.

Don't forget scarves and yarn hair.

In the pattern of the New Year's gnome, which is given at the beginning, you will also find a cap pattern. Not a single dwarf will go out without him. Therefore, ours must also be with a headdress. When you cut out the cap, sew it on the sides, you can try on the gnome's head and attach it.

Don't forget the little bell on the cap.

Since, according to legend, the Christmas gnome brings a gift, don't forget the bags.

These bright DIY Christmas gnomes will cheer you up and bring coziness and a little magic to your home.

Forest gnome for the new year

These gnomes are considered the most serious, because they guard the forest, keep order. Therefore, it is worth giving them to those who truly have an important role in your life.

What you will need to make this Christmas gnome:

- felt (felt) in 2-3 colors;
-wool for felting;
- threads;
-scissors;
-needle.

Starting work on the gnome

1) Let's start with the torso and head. They are made according to the principle of dry felting. To do this, take a piece of wool of a light color, close to natural. We pierce many times with a needle for felting. We do this until we reach the adhesion of the fibers to a homogeneous state and clear shapes: a ball for the head, an oval for the body.

Hurray our gnome is ready! According to this pattern, Dasha made as many as seven gnomes!
Dasha is currently developing a Snow White pattern.

So our gnome "Hurrah!" is ready. You are great!
I am very grateful to Daria Khanzhina for her help in preparing the master class and for the processed photos. All our gnomes make up one composition that can be used for a table tetra. Daria had the idea to create the character of Snow White and write the mater - class herself. I think that Daria will succeed.

And so, our master class is finished, by reading it you learned how to sew according to this pattern, select pieces of fabric, threads in the color of the fabric, and perform a manual machine seam.
I wish you all good luck and creative success! If you have questions - ask. I will answer with pleasure. I think that it was interesting and useful and our work was not in vain. I would be very happy to leave comments.

In this master class, we will sew beautiful magical Scandinavian gnomes. Ready? Then let's get to work.

Materials and tools

In order to sew three Scandinavian gnomes, we need:

  • Thick blue cotton fabric
  • fleece red,
  • Light felt (for the face),
  • Light beige felt (for nose),
  • white faux fur,
  • holofiber,
  • red yarn,
  • Leg-split,
  • thin wire,
  • threads,
  • Scissors,
  • Glue transparent for fabric.

pattern

On a separate piece of paper, draw all the details of the gnomes. Specify their number.

Cut out the paper details of our gnomes.

Stages of work

We start with the body. We will immediately sew three gnomes at the same time. We lay out the blue fabric on the table in two layers, right sides inward. Let's prepare the paper details of the torso, bottom and legs of the gnomes.

We lay out the patterns on the fabric. We pin them with pins. With chalk we transfer the contours of the details to the fabric.

We put marks on the details of the legs with chalk (holes through which we will turn the details on the front side).

Along the marked lines, we grind the details of the torso and legs. We do not build up the bottom of the body, but leave holes on the details of the legs (according to the marks). We do not touch the details of the bottom yet.

Cut out the details of the body and legs with small allowances.

Now, along the marked lines, we cut out the details of the lower body. Also with small allowances. Pay attention, cut out only three parts.

Let's move on to the handles of the gnomes. Prepare blue fabric and red fleece. We take the paper part of the gnome's hand.

On the fleece in one layer, we outline strips 4 cm wide.

Details of the hands of gnomes are sewn from two fabrics of different colors. Therefore, we cut out red strips of fabric and pin them to blue fabric cuts.

We machine stitch a strip of red fleece with a blue base fabric.

Turn the red stripes up. We fold the prepared pieces of fabric, right sides inward, aligning the stitching seams together. We pin them at the seams with pins so that they do not move.

We pin the paper pattern of the hand with pins. The line of the mitten marked on the pattern should coincide with the seam line on the fabric. With chalk we transfer the contours of the hands to the prepared pieces of fabric.

We mark with chalk the hole marks for turning the parts on the front side.

We grind the details of the hands with a machine line.

We cut out the details with small allowances.

With the tips of the scissors at the rounded places of the allowances, we make notches. This will give us the opportunity to easily turn the details on the front side and get smooth seams without corners.

Through the holes left, we turn the details of the legs and arms to the front side.

On the details of the lower body with chalk, we mark the centers.

On the bottom of the parts of the body with chalk, we mark the marks of the hole.

We pin the bottom part to the body with pins, combining the centers of the bottom with the stitching seams of the parts. We chip off in this way only two torsos. We leave the third one for now, because the third gnome is in a different position.

We fold the third body, as shown in the figure, combining the stitching seams. We put marks on the sides.

Now we combine the centers of the bottom part with the marks on the sides. We pin the bottom to the body with pins.

On the pins, we sweep the details of the bottom with the details of the body with hand stitches.

We sew the details of the bottom with the body with a machine stitch, leaving holes for eversion. On the allowances with the tips of the scissors we make notches. Be careful not to damage the integrity of the line.

Turn each body right side out through the holes left. We straighten the seams.

Through the holes of the handle we fill with holofiber. Evenly distribute the filler along the length of the parts. We also fill the body.

Sew up the holes on the torso and arms of the gnomes with invisible hand stitches.

From light felt we cut out the faces of the gnomes. The pattern of the legs and face is the same. We pin the pattern with pins. We outline the contours and cut out the details without seam allowances.

We pin faces to each gnome with pins. Please note that we pin the faces of the two (upper) gnomes in front to the stitching seams. One dwarf (lower) in front without a seam.

We sew faces with hand loop stitches, light threads.

Cut out spouts from light beige felt. We pin the pattern with pins.

With chalk we outline the details on the felt. Cut them out without seam allowances.

In a circle, we collect slices of circles on a needle.

We tighten the thread and get a pocket, which we fill with a small amount of holofiber. We pull the thread to the end and with a few hand stitches we fix the tightened sections of the formed ball.

We pin the handles to the bodies of the gnomes with pins. For two gnomes, we pin the hands on the sides of the body, and for one - at the seams (the handles stretch to one side).

We sew hands to the torso of each gnome with hand secret stitches.

From red fleece, folded in two layers, we cut out caps. Pin the paper pattern to the fleece with a pin. With chalk we transfer the outline of the pattern.

We lay machine lines along the marked lines. Cut out caps with small allowances.

Using a thin wooden stick, turn the caps right side out.

From artificial fur we cut out beards for gnomes. We pin the beard pattern with pins to the fur.

Draw the outline of the beard with a pencil.

We cut out the beards from the fur with thin pointed small scissors. It is necessary to cut carefully, capturing only the knitted fabric. And in no case do not cut on the fur. The pile of fur should remain long and not cut off at the edges.

We pin the beards with pins to the faces of the gnomes. In those places of the face where the beard will be glued, apply a thin layer of transparent glue. Glue on the beard. The lower part of it remains free.

Now we sew our balls - spouts. A few hand stitches. You can glue on the nose.

We embroider cute smiles for our gnomes with red yarn (three different ones are possible).

We cut the wire with a length equal to two lengths of the cap.

We pierce the head of the gnome with wire in the area of \u200b\u200bthe top of the head. We put together the two ends of the wire. Lightly twist them together.

We put caps on top of the wire and now with the help of wire we attach any configuration to the upper part of the caps. So that the caps do not fall off the heads, we glue their lower parts (from the wrong side) in several places directly to the head.

On the bottom of the body with red yarn we embroider the trim with a cross.

The legs are sewn or glued to the bottom of the body.

To make bags, you need to take red fleece and fold it in two layers. Mark a rectangle 8cm x 13cm. Side fold.

We cut out three such rectangles without allowances.

We fold them along, we cut them off along the side and lower sections with pins.

We grind the seams of the bags along the marked lines with a machine stitch.

Turn the bags right side out. Slightly below, fill each bag with holofiber.

We cut the wire for each bag, equal to the length of two bag lengths.

We insert double-folded pieces of wire into each bag. We tie them with twine.

We put a bag in the handles of each gnome. Sew it to the handles with a few hand stitches. With the help of a wire inside the bag, each bag can be bent for stability of the dwarf on legs. You can put a small weighting agent in the bag so that the gnome does not fall.

2. From the inside, along the cocotte side of the rectangle, we make assemblies and tie them with a thread.

3. We turn the body blank on the front side. We fill the resulting bag with cotton wool and again tie the hole.

4. Now we form a spout from gauze and cotton wool. Immediately cut out the triangle of fur - the future beard of the gnome.
