At first I wanted to write that this article is for the brave. Brave people who follow their hearts and are not afraid of public censure. But then I thought, this is an article for normal creative people. For people who are not alien to art, for whom beauty and naturalness come first.

Yes, this kind of art is not for everyone. Not everyone understands or shares it, although almost no one passed by Bathsheba Bryulova or Beauty Kustodiev in the Tretyakov Gallery. Or, let's say, a completely classic, presented in the Hermitage - Rembrandt's Danaë.

You can discuss for a long time whether you like these paintings or not, this is everyone’s business, but this does not cause indignation, let alone shame, in anyone. Because it really is art. And photography is the same art. Of course, it would be stupid to compare oneself with such great masters now, although one should always strive for the highest mastery.

Pregnancy is a special state and it is very important to show it beautifully and gently in photographs.

And of course there are many features. I talk to many pregnant women before a photo shoot and most are upset that folds have appeared, maybe stretch marks, excess weight somewhere, breasts changing shape. They look at ideal figures on various sites and think that they cannot achieve such figures.

This is a big, simply huge misconception. The misconception is that all examples of photographs are ideal people. I would say this is the perfect job for a photographer and retoucher. Make sure that, without changing you beyond recognition, at the same time remove all the shortcomings and emphasize all the advantages. This is work, a lot of work. Moreover, the work is not only of the photographer, but also of yours at the photo shoot.

A nude maternity photo shoot is one of the most difficult genres of photography. What is required here is mastery of working with light, knowledge of the structure of the human body, and the characteristics of light reflection. Work experience is of great importance. Experience of working not only with light, but also with you, with expectant mothers. How to remove tightness and embarrassment, how to make a photo shoot interesting and easy, this only comes with experience. With an understanding of psychology, with an understanding of the state in which the expectant mother is. I just want to say “we have it.” And we will be happy to share with you all the necessary information, tell you how to prepare for the shoot, discuss details and accessories so that you get truly professional photographs, your own piece of true art.

1. Reflection

The first three versions of the shooting were performed according to the “before and after” type. Therefore, here you need to plan one or several shootings during pregnancy, and then arrange a photo session after the birth of the baby. The results are definitely worth it!

Underwear will be enough, and a piece of silky fabric can be tied to the chest, which will develop. The results will be very gentle and at the same time spectacular shots.

2. Flying gait. You can capture the expectant mother in motion as she walks at a leisurely pace. It will be beautiful if a woman wraps herself in a transparent robe that will develop as she walks. You can stand on your toes, creating a feeling of flying.

3. Three-quarter angle. From this angle, both the belly and the mommy, beaming with happiness, are viewed equally favorably.

4. Sitting pose with your legs bent under you and your arms wrapped around your stomach. All the beauty of the female body will appear in this position, and the main emphasis will be on the rounded tummy.
