Basic wardrobe for a woman over 30 at sea. How to put together a wardrobe for a holiday at sea. Beach dress with drawstring

Summer has already come into its own, the holiday of sun and warmth has arrived. This is evidenced by hot weather, late sunsets, early sunrises, long daylight hours and the date on the calendar. The long-awaited vacation is approaching, and with it a vacation at sea. Soon everyone, and especially the female half of the population, will be concerned about what summer vacation clothes are the most suitable and necessary, what should you take on a trip first? This issue needs a very detailed consideration, because it is not advisable to overshadow a long-awaited trip, and all the little things must be provided for.

Must-haves for a seaside vacation

1. Let's start with the most important thing - a swimsuit.
Yes, yes, make sure you put it in your suitcase. It’s even better to take two swimsuits for a change. While one is wet and has not had time to dry, you will put on the second one. Take several swimsuits if you plan to stay by the sea for more than three weeks. It is advisable to have both a two-piece and a one-piece swimsuit. It’s not uncommon for people to take absolutely everything with them and forget the most important element at home. Of course, you can buy another one on the spot, but often in resort areas clothes are very expensive. And why resort to unnecessary spending? After all, a month before your vacation, you probably bought yourself the best swimsuit that looks great on your figure.

2. Dress or sundress.
Light, loose dresses and sundresses made of natural fabric; they can be long or short, in pastel colors or bright colors. It all depends on your preferences. T-shirt dresses are also a wonderful choice for relaxation. If you add sunglasses and flip-flops, the look is complete.

3. Shorts, tunic, tops, T-shirt.
If you are going to go on an excursion in the city where you are vacationing, then you need to take shorts and a cotton T-shirt so that it absorbs sweat well and you do not feel any discomfort. Maximum open tunics, tops and T-shirts are indispensable everyday wear on hot days, you can’t do without them!

4. Evening vacation summer dress.
If you want to taste the cuisine of the country in which you will be vacationing at sea, then you will need an evening dress so that you have something to wear to the restaurant. It is not at all necessary that it be embroidered with beads and various stones. A discreet dress in casual style is enough - in combination with exquisite jewelry it will look simply chic on you.

5. White dress or white set of blouse and skirt or trousers.
It is not uncommon for hotels to host White Nights-style parties. To get to them there is a condition: the pass is only for persons dressed in white clothes, so take care of this outfit in advance: put white clothes in your suitcase in advance. Be sure to take a white dress or sundress. A white top will look very summery. A white T-shirt is indispensable both in the city and on vacation.

6. Jacket or warm jacket for rainy days and boat trips
A light summer jacket (jacket) or sweater is a necessary thing on any trip; it will help you out on a boat trip, in the rain, and on the way to your vacation spot and back. Nights by the sea can be quite cool, so if you are going to walk along the promenade, take something warmer than a swimsuit with you.

7. Pajamas and underwear.
Bring a light overnight set of shorts and a T-shirt. They should be made of good, natural fabric. Fabric recommendations also apply to underwear.

A little on the topic of summer shoes:

1. Beach slippers.
You can't do without them on the beach. They are the number one protection for delicate, female legs from hot sand.

2. Roman sandals.
For long walks, instead of sneakers and sneakers, choose Roman leather sandals. This way your feet won't get sweaty.

3. Platform sandals.
To go with an elegant dress, you should definitely take along the appropriate platform shoes, and forget about stiletto heels for a while. After all, the platform is much more convenient and suits different clothing styles.

Accessories:

1. Straw hats and panama hats
These wardrobe elements help us out even in the city, when we spend time outside in the heat of the day, and on the open-air beach, a straw or felt hat with large brims will be simply necessary.

2. Sunglasses
A pair of sunglasses shouldn't be missing from your holiday packing list, as they combine elegance with functionality. They will protect your eyes from the ultraviolet rays of the scorching sun like no other.

3. Jewelry and decorations
Jewelry, especially in a nautical style, brings a lot of freshness and spontaneity to our image. At sea, you can relax and allow yourself to wear such charming trinkets.

What other things should you definitely take with you on vacation?

In addition to clothing for a sea holiday, do not forget:

  • phone with charger,
  • large beach bag
  • umbrella in case of rain,
  • small clutch or handbag on a chain,
  • sunscreens,
  • a blanket - in case the hotel does not have sun loungers,
  • a small first aid kit with medicines.

Optional but desirable things at the resort

1. Men's shirt or a la men's shirt. It can be a plain shirt, a checked shirt or a striped shirt. The shirt is a universal item that will suit almost any bottom. You can also throw a shirt over a swimsuit.

2. Things in a nautical style. Clothing in white and blue stripes or sea green, with marine-themed prints.

3. Bright clothes: red dress, orange or yellow top, etc. Also items with bright floral prints.

When packing your suitcase, lay out all your clothes on the bed and evaluate the style, color scheme, and texture of the items you have chosen. If you understand that all these things go well together, then you can safely take them with you. Try to take comfortable and favorite things so you can relax and not worry about what to wear.

As for basic clothing, it is better to give preference to blouses, dresses, tops and shorts made of thin, light and natural fabrics.

After you have packed your seaside wardrobe, think again about which country and which hotel you are going to. For example: in Arab countries it is better to wear things that hide the shoulders and do not expose much of the body.

Have a great holiday and don't get sunburned!

If you have already gone on vacation before, then you know that putting together a beach wardrobe is not as easy as it seems - something will definitely be forgotten at home, and something will remain unworn. We always take with us only the essentials, but as a result it turns out that the “necessities” are a whole suitcase. Putting together the right capsule wardrobe is an art that is not so difficult to learn if you know the basic rules for selecting things.

Choosing a wardrobe at sea: 3 main points

Before you begin the exact selection of things, make a list - it should be divided into 3 blocks:

Wardrobe staple (capsule). Here you will find things on the basis of which your entire travel wardrobe will be built.

Seasonal items. These include swimsuits, sunglasses, pareos and all those things that we associate with the sea.

Accessories. Shoes, bags, backpacks, jewelry - all those little things that complete our look and make our vacation comfortable.

For each of these blocks, you will need to make a more detailed list, add to it more than once or cross out unnecessary ones. Try not to let your basic wardrobe for a seaside holiday grow into a whole closet - you won’t be able to take things for all occasions with you, so a basic set of items with a few items for sudden weather changes will be quite enough.

Basic summer wardrobe at sea: a few useful rules

There are a number of simple rules that will allow you to pack a small suitcase with only the most useful things that you will actually wear:

Think about what exactly you will be doing - if you are only going to spend time on the beach, then you can cross out some things, for example, an evening dress, right away.

The wardrobe should also be selected depending on the duration of the trip - for 2 weeks you will have to take approximately the same amount of things as for 10 days (an impressive suitcase). But for 5 days, an ordinary travel bag is enough.

Don't forget to check the weather forecast - although you won't get exact data, it still doesn't hurt to get an overall picture. This will determine what your wardrobe will be like on vacation at sea - sometimes you have to add long sleeves to your swimsuits.

In addition, do not forget that on a trip you will still have to take not only a basic set of things, but also several wardrobe items just in case - it may get sharply cold, and weather forecasters may not be prepared for such a development of events.

Beach chic: from small details to a complete look

We have selected for you several photos that show the most current trends in beach fashion for the summer of 2017. Following these trends, you can choose fashionable outfits for an ideal vacation - a minimum of things to create an attractive image.

Luxurious white: playing with contrast

On vacation, a tan is the first thing you gain from your experience. Therefore, a white swimsuit is a must-have, without which both a luxurious and an economical holiday option cannot be avoided. Add to this:

A cute white hat with a black ribbon,

Stylish sunglasses with thick frames,

Black flip-flops with flat soles.

Why black ones if the swimsuit is white? It's simple: beach fashion 2017 looks favorably on contrasting colors, leaving acidic shades behind last year. A white swimsuit and black accessories - just like that, clearly and clearly, without excesses.

Spanish flair: boho chic

It doesn’t matter where you spend your vacation - on the “Golden Coast” of Bulgaria, in sunny Odessa or luxurious Ibiza. You will definitely love this year's trend - boho chic, which allows you to relax and leave the pretentiousness of high fashion behind:

Loose linen robe with beautiful patterns on the collar and sleeves,

Wide-brimmed hat with thick fringe of wine or carmine shade,

Red mini-bikinis and matching tops,

Accessories based on various brushes.

This set of things will take up a minimum of space, but you will thank yourself more than once if you take them with you: a light robe made of natural material (linen, cotton) is pleasant to the skin, does not float, and can both protect you from the slight evening coolness and cover delicate skin from excessively strong sun rays.

Roads of Saint-Tropez

Designers assure that the most stylish girls on the beach will be those who remember the romantic retro look:

Straw flirty hat,

Espadrille slippers, not willing to give up their position since 2015,

Bag-basket (can also be wicker),

Retro-style swimsuit with a closed bodice.

If you want to complete the look of French women of the last century, and approach the elegance of Catherine Deneuve (or the sensuality of Brigitte Bardot), you will definitely need classic style sunglasses with thick horn frames.

By the way, if the choice falls on a swimsuit model with a crop top, you can safely wear it with a high-waisted skirt just below the knee. This combination looks very harmonious and allows you to create another attractive classic look, and it is suitable even for a woman over 50.

2 in 1: two swimsuits turn into three

Fashionistas this summer are advised to add at least 2 swimsuits to their wardrobe for a beach holiday, and their tops and bottoms should be easily combined with each other. Thanks to this move, you can look a little different every time, even with a minimal wardrobe.

All that remains is to choose two models that will be combined. And here two simple rules will come to the rescue: use either similar shades or contrasting ones. For example, a mint bikini can be paired with a more saturated blue top. A fashionable look in the style of minimalism this summer - metallic flip-flops, a sports bag with silver clasps, deliberately wide shorts with a bright tropical print.

But true chic this summer lies in the combination of two contrasting colors:

Turquoise swimsuit. Bikini in a delicate shade, top - print of palm leaves. Over the swimsuit, throw on a jumpsuit made of thin denim with short shorts, nautical espadrilles, add a basket bag, a wicker hat - and your stylish look with minimal space in your suitcase is ready.

Black swimsuit. Classics are eternal, and black, which has returned to the list of fashionable shades, is proof of this. Custom laces on the back make the 2017 models very interesting. If you want to walk to the nearest cafe, put on short denim shorts and throw a mesh cape over your shoulders.

Both of these swimsuits combine perfectly with each other, so there will be no dissonance in your appearance when arranging the top and bottom of these models.

If you combine all types of beachwear, you get something like this list:

Two matching swimsuits

White top - universal clothing for excursions, parties and the beach (it all depends on the bottom),

2 bags: one small with a long strap, the second - roomy or just a stylish backpack,

Several pairs of shoes: flip flops, sandals, espadrilles,

Denim shorts or overalls,

Mid-length skirt in a bright shade.

Once you try to combine these items with each other, you will realize that you now know exactly how to put together a capsule wardrobe for a few days of relaxation. If the trip is planned for a longer period, girls are advised to take a couple more things with them:

Sundress,

Semi-sports jerseys,

Thin cardigan for the evening,

shirt,

Scarf made of thin fabric (tie on your head, cover your shoulders).

If you approach the issue of packing things correctly, then all your wealth will fit into a small suitcase, dispelling the myths that girls need several suitcases for a good rest.

Capsule wardrobe at sea: don’t forget about excursions

In addition to going to the beach, you will most likely have exciting excursions ahead, so here too you need to create a basic wardrobe taking into account the time you will be on vacation.

Option #1

Denim jacket or short jacket,

T-shirt, T-shirt and top - a trio for any occasion,

Shorts, trousers or jeans,

Here is the long-awaited descent! Finally, in a few days you will find yourself by the sea. Tickets are on the table, hair removal is done, suitcase is packed. Only there was a slight hiccup with the last one, because almost half of the closet had migrated into the suitcase and it didn’t want to close at all. You even sat down on it, hoping that the zipper would still deign to close. I think that this situation is familiar to many. Without really straining yourself, you simply dump all your summer clothes into your suitcase, reassuring yourself that you are not carrying your own burden, and, in general, you never know what you might need. And this despite the fact that you are traveling for only ten days. As you may have guessed, the approach is absolutely wrong and requires a review of not only your suitcase, but yours as a whole. You can look stylish and different every day with a minimum number of things. How? That's what I'm going to tell you. I confess, this topic should have been discussed at the beginning of May; perhaps many have already spent their well-deserved vacation. But if you are not one of them, then my material today will be extremely useful to you.

Before we get into things, let's look at the basic criteria for choosing clothes for vacation:
Cut and silhouette: The main thing here is comfort and convenience. Clothes should not hinder your movements. This does not mean at all that I advise you to wear shapeless robes, but tight silhouettes will also not be the best option. Try to find a middle ground.

Color: choose several colors from your palette that go well with each other. This will make it easier for you to create harmonious images. I recommend leaving dark colors for the winter.
Textile: The best choice, of course, would be natural fabrics; they allow the body to breathe, absorb and evaporate moisture well, and cause a pleasant sensation when in contact with the body. These materials include linen, silk, viscose and cotton. Although I would make an amendment regarding the latter. Despite the fact that cotton is an ideal material for hot climates, it is difficult to call it practical, since it wrinkles instantly and takes a very long time to dry. Mixed fabrics will help solve this problem (a small addition of synthetics will not be superfluous).
Well, the most important thing to consider is the compatibility of all your luggage. In other words, every item you pack into your luggage must go with at least three more items in your suitcase.

Let's finally get down to collecting your luggage. The purpose of your vacation is to relax at sea, which means we’ll start our preparations with the formation of a beach image, where, of course, the highlight of the program will be swimsuit. Two will be enough for you and it’s better if they differ in color and style. You can read about how to choose a swimsuit that is right for you.

Well, everything is clear with the swimsuit, now you need to think about what you will wear to get from your hotel room to the beach. It would be good to know in advance how far one is located from the other. For example, if you are planning to stay in a hotel on the first coastline, then a sarong* will be enough. (Sarong is a strip of cotton colored lightweight fabric that is wrapped around the waist or mid-chest and covers the lower part of the body). And if you have to stomp further away, it would be better to throw something over your hangers, for example, a tunic. In addition to being ethical, it will help you avoid getting a sunburn that's clearly not part of your vacation plans. In any case, whatever you choose, this item should match both swimsuits.

To complete the beach look, add a few accessories:
-beach sandals,
- select a hat (or any other headdress),
- we select a bag for the hat,
-don’t forget about high-quality sunglasses. They will not only protect your eyes from the sun's rays, but will also help hide the consequences of a fun night the night before from others. Naturally, you will need them not only on the beach.

* When choosing a hat and glasses, be guided by yours.

We've more or less sorted out the beach look. I very much doubt that your entire vacation will take place along the hotel-beach-hotel route. You'll probably want to explore the nearby attractions, stroll through the local shops, or even just have a couple of cocktails at the bar. So we'll need some more clothes.

Tops(everything we put on our upper body) . There should be more of them than “bottoms”; firstly, they will not take up much space in your luggage, and secondly, it is the tops that create the feeling of novelty of the image. Let's stop at five, four of which will be with short sleeves or without them at all, plus one with long sleeves. The main thing is not to take doubles (they are as similar as two peas in a pod), otherwise you risk looking the same all the time.

« Bottoms"(everything we wear on the lower body). The main thing here is to ensure that each bottom is combined with at least three tops. Don't overdo it, 3-4 items will be enough. The best option is shorts, a skirt and trousers. You can adjust the style and length at your own discretion. Regarding jeans, they are certainly a very practical and versatile item, however, they are not entirely suitable for hot climates and, in addition, jeans will take up more space in your suitcase than light trousers. And if you are generally not a fan of trousers (like me, for example), then you can replace them with a long skirt. You can read about what kind of skirts are in fashion now.

Dresses. Well, what would it be like to go to sea without it! I advise you to stop at two, but remember that they should differ at least in color and length. For example, you can take light and dark or long and short. An excellent option for going to the sea would be a shirt dress - functional, beautiful, and most importantly, comfortable. I recommend leaving an evening dress with sequins, rhinestones and a long train at home.

Outerwear. If you hope that you won’t need it, I hasten to disappoint you, it can be cool in the evenings even in hot countries. For outerwear, you can take a light cardigan or denim jacket or shirt with you. I also advise you to check the weather forecast; rain in the summer in the southern regions is far from uncommon.

Shoes. This is perhaps the most difficult part - there are so many requirements. The main criterion is, of course, convenience and comfort. Therefore, I advise you to leave new or unworn shoes at home. In addition, shoes should not be very heavy and take up the floor of your suitcase, so don’t even try to squeeze shoes with thick heels or chunky platform sandals in there. Of course, your shoes should be tested for durability, because you don't want to spend your entire vacation looking for a repair shop. It would also be naive to believe that you can find something suitable in local stores. Three pairs of shoes will be enough for everything - beach sandals, which we have already packed, comfortable shoes for walking (light ballet flats are ideal) and an evening pair. As a last resort, I advise you to take sandals with not very high heels. Yes, and make sure at home that you can dance in them. About what shoes are being worn this summer

*Remember that shoes should be in the same style as your clothes.
*About how to choose the right summer shoes.

Accessories. In addition to the beach bag, you will need a small handbag that can accompany you both on a city tour and to an evening-night event. Remember that it should match the color and style of your clothes. You definitely don’t need to take a large “I carry everything with me” bag. I also advise you to take a light silk scarf; it can protect you in windy weather or, conversely, hide your shoulders from the scorching sun. Well, the last thing is this. The stylish minimum is beautiful earrings and a bracelet. In general, since jewelry does not take up much space, you can decide for yourself how much you can take with you. Although, I don’t recommend taking your entire jewelry box; it would be a shame if you returned without it.

Well, that seems to be all. Now let's see what our suitcase will look like when disassembled.

Let's look at a few images that can come out of our suitcase.

Beach look.

Daytime images.

Evening looks.

As you can see, it is quite diverse and this is only one third of what we can add up from such a seemingly small set of things. Therefore, if you approach the organization of your luggage wisely, you can look impressive, stylish, and most importantly, varied for the entire ten days of your vacation.

Instead of concluding, I want to give you a little more advice. Under no circumstances should your suitcase be filled to capacity; be sure to leave some empty space. I think you will want to bring gifts and souvenirs for your loved ones, and maybe you will even update your wardrobe. As you understand, you can’t carry all this in your hands. And in order not to buy an additional suitcase of dubious quality, which after the trip will languish on the mezzanine, I advise you to think about it in advance.

I WISH YOU AN UNFORGETTABLE VACATION!

Nothing pleases the eye more than a folded suitcase!

Today I will show you a concrete example of how to choose a stylish capsule wardrobe at sea with just 10 items for a 10-day vacation. If you choose everything correctly, this small amount will be enough. This means no heavy suitcases or extra expenses for luggage!

So, let's start collecting the capsule. Let me remind you the main 5 points on how to choose the right things for a trip:

1. Find out the weather/climate
2. Write down your plans
3. Choose a combination of things for each activity.
4. Choose a color scheme
5. Choose the right items

1. Weather:
Let it be standard weather for a summer vacation: + 25°С - + 30°С.

2. Plans:
Main activities:
– relaxing on the beach and walking around the city – 50%
– evening outings to a restaurant or to parties – 30%
– visits to museums and attractions – 20%

3. Combinations of things:
I have chosen the following combinations of items that will be included in my vacation capsule wardrobe:
— classic cut shorts + top (with short or long sleeves)
— midi skirt + top (with short or long sleeves)
— wide flowing trousers + top (with short or long sleeves)
— sundress

Concerning summer shoes, the ideal choice would be comfortable and light, but at the same time elegant summer wedge sandals, which are suitable for both evening looks and everyday wear, and Birkenstock-type flip-flops (more budget-friendly, in which it is convenient to go both to the beach and for a long walk or excursion.

Good clothing options for summer holidays are also:

4. Color range:
This time I decided to choose brighter and more summery colors than I usually choose :) The main ones are beige and yellow, the basic one is white, and the additional ones are green and blue. I like the slightly muted pastel palette, especially the combination of blue and yellow.

5. Selection of things:
Taking into account the main activities and the weather, I have chosen the following items for the capsule wardrobe, from which I will compose my vacation sets:

You often ask me where you can find the things that I use in my collages. Therefore, if you want to put together such a summer capsule, I found for you links to all the things in different price categories and from different materials. Items can be viewed and purchased by following the following links:

Dress
8. Bright yellow sundress

4. Shoes
9. White Birkenstock slides

5. Swimwear

From these things, I have compiled the following images that will be suitable for all planned activities:

Accessories

As accessories you can take:

1. A small handbag for going out and walking: this cool and chic option (a similar model with a cross-body belt), this option on a chain, this more practical and minimalistic option or this bright clutch.

As for the swimsuit, I suggest you take two two-piece swimsuits. I chose a yellow bottom and top with a fun lemon print and a black bottom and balconette top. This will allow you to mix the top and bottom of each swimsuit, which will ultimately give you 4 different combinations. This option is especially suitable for those who like to appear on the beach every day in a new swimsuit.

Thus, 10 things will be enough for you for 10 days of vacation. All things combine well, which allows you to create many looks from them. A versatile dress with straps can be worn either on its own or as a sundress, wearing, for example, a blouse or top under it. A blue blouse can be paired with a skirt for a romantic look or with shorts for a more playful look. A crop top combined with shorts gives us a good base for the beach or a walk, and in combination with flowy trousers - a more elegant outfit for going out. Best of all, all these 10 items and two swimsuits will fit perfectly into a small backpack or bag. Also try to choose easy-care fabrics that can be easily washed and dried during your trip.

Each of you can collect such capsules and create many looks from a small number of things! If you want to put together a functional wardrobe yourself and develop your own personal style, and not follow everyone else, then mine will help you with this. This is a tool that will teach you step by step how to sort out and plan your wardrobe, create stylish looks and work on your own style.

After studying the theory and completing all the tasks, you will upgrade your wardrobe yourself. Don't put off working on yourself until tomorrow, act right now!

How are you planning your trip? What items can't you live without on vacation?

Tomorrow I'm leaving for a 10-day vacation. The plans are for 2.5 days in Istanbul, and then a vacation on the Mediterranean Sea. I want to talk about what is in my suitcase and how I choose things for trips.

99% of my trips are city breaks in Europe, so I take with me the things I wear in Moscow. This time I'm going to the sea, so the choice of things is much more relaxed than for a trip to Europe. I will not have any evening outings to the theater or restaurants, so my suitcase does not contain status accessories, high-heeled shoes or dresses for the evening.

When I pack my suitcase, I keep in mind, firstly, climate and weather. Rain requires one type of clothing, snow requires another, heat requires a third, and so on. Secondly, I think about can I wash those things? that I take with me, for example, jeans or trousers, T-shirts, shirts. If I rent a house or apartment where there is a washing machine, then I can take less things than if I go to a hotel, where I have to wait two days for things from the laundry. Thirdly, I I imagine the place where I'm going. Will I look appropriate? Fourth, I think through sets for all types of leisure: Am I just going to walk around the city or will the middle of the walk be a trip to a respectable restaurant where you shouldn’t wear sneakers? If I go to the theater or concert in the evening, should I accompany my husband to any event? How many similar events will there be?

Then I figure out how I can reduce the number of those sets that I have put together in my head. Can one pair of shoes go with all evening dresses? Can I wear comfortable flat boots or ballet flats instead of sneakers? Do I need to take a dress to walk around during the day, provided that it requires a separate pair of shoes?

In general, any packing of a suitcase begins with choosing the kind of shoes that, first of all, will be comfortable for me to walk in. The filling of the suitcase depends on what shoes I'm going to wear. I try to choose things so that they match each other as much as possible: tops should match skirts/trousers, accessories are required that can turn a daytime outfit into one suitable for the evening, the length of the dress should allow me to put on top the coat that I’m going to take with me, and so on Further. This time everything is much simpler: I will only need clothes for a few days in Istanbul, which does not include any elegant restaurants and no evening cocktails, and at sea I’m generally thinking of limiting myself to shorts and swimsuits.

Of course, I take into account the status and character of the place where I am going. If I were going to an expensive resort with my husband, I would take beautiful long dresses with me, and pair them with, for example, bracelets or long earrings, but I’m going to a simple Turkish village, where I won’t need all this.

1. For this trip I take 3 pairs of shoes and all without heels: universal Converse sneakers, suitable for both shorts and trousers, blue Jason Wu for Melissa rubber sandals, which can be worn both in the city and on the beach, and green suede Sam Edelman sandals that are comfortable to walk in and perfect for walking around Istanbul. I would also like to say about Melissa sandals: they are very, very comfortable and look much better in the city than flip-flops, which I don’t understand wearing outside the beach.

2. I take with me 2 pairs of shorts - H&M khaki and Gap denim, as well as comfortable skinny linen trousers with elastic from Zara. All three pairs are suitable for both city excursions and life near the beach.

3. Three tops: a classic linen vest from Gerard Darel, a vest with a silk front insert from Max Mara Weekend and a two-layer top from Zara. Each of these items can be found with any of the shorts or pants from the photo above. I’ll also throw a couple of simple white T-shirts into my suitcase.

4. Lindex denim jacket and COS denim shirt. I don’t remember the last time I put on a jacket or took it with me, I decided to take it on this trip just in case it suddenly rained or it was cool in the evening. Suitable for any shorts/trousers, can be worn over dresses that will be lower. The shirt can also be combined with shorts/trousers and can be worn on the beach over a swimsuit.

5. Dresses: top Gerard Darel, a simple tunic dress for the city, then a striped Max Mara Weekend, designed specifically for the beach, the third - Zara, both beach and city at the same time.

6. Two scarves - H&M and I don’t know what brand. I definitely take scarves, I’m very afraid of the southern sun, I don’t walk around the city with my cleavage open, and on the beach I try to cover myself up if possible: wide scarves are great for this. In addition, a scarf adds meaning to any outfit, even shorts and a T-shirt. Two swimsuits: Albertina and Jets by Jessika Allen, 2 pairs of glasses - Max&Co and Jimmy Fairly. I'll think maybe I'll take another swimsuit for a change.

7. Three bags: beach, city and roomy. The striped beach one came with the Max Mara Weekend beach dress and is big enough to hold towels and all your sunscreen. The small beige Coccinelle bag is convenient for the city: it holds a guidebook, a plastic card and a phone, it can be worn cross body, which frees up your hands and allows you to keep the bag always within sight; I'll put my camera and laptop in my red Prada bag and take it with me on the plane. It can also be used in the city.

I'm going to fly in trousers and a blue and white vest, sneakers on my feet, a blue scarf on my neck, and a red bag in my hands. Everything else will be put into the suitcase.
