All you have to. Everything you need to know about archers. About a non-standard approach

As the famous saying goes, if you get a lemon, make lemonade out of it. It would be nice if there were fewer such “lemons” in our life ... But growing a lemon tree on our window and making REAL homemade lemonade out of it is a much more pleasant and, most importantly, useful activity. You can find out how to get a full-fledged citrus tree from a stone here, and today I will talk about all the nuances of caring for a lemon at home.

Home Lemon Care: Heat + Light + Persistence

Indoor lemon has a wayward character, which is manifested in its exactingness to the conditions of detention.

In particular, it does not tolerate sudden changes in temperature, humidity and reacts painfully to drafts. A moderately humid and warm microclimate and abundant lighting are essential for the well-being of your green pet.

Just don't put the pot in direct natural light, as the lemon doesn't like to roast in the sun either. For example, you can put the plant on the southern or southwestern windowsill and shade it with a tulle curtain or gauze.

An interesting fact is that a lemon does not like being near strong-smelling house flowers, so do not place lilies or rhododendrons next to it.

In autumn, winter and early spring, homemade lemon requires additional lighting with help (at least 40 watts). On average, a lamp is enough to turn on the lamps for 3-4 hours a day (2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening). However, keep in mind that the lemon plant needs at least 8 hours of sunlight or artificial lighting in winter and from 10 to 14 hours at other times of the year.

Lamps are installed at the rate of 2-3 pieces per square meter. At the same time, they should be located at least 40-50 centimeters above the level of the highest branch.

Regular and sufficient watering

Homemade lemon loves to swim!

Waterlogging adversely affects the development of a citrus plant, so moderation is important when watering. In the heat, the soil in pots is moistened 3 times a week, on ordinary days the frequency of watering is reduced to one or two times.

How do you know when it's time to water a lemon?

There is a simple test - take a pinch of soil from a pot with three fingers and squeeze. If it sticks together, then you don’t need to water it, if it falls apart, it’s time to go for a watering can.

Irrigation water should be warm and settled (filtered). The ideal option is melt water, which is obtained from pure snow or after ice has melted. No less good is rain or spring water. Three or four times a month, you can add drunk tea to the water for watering.

Avoid stagnant water in the container - the containers used must have drainage holes.

A couple of times a month, loosen the top layer of soil in a pot (just try not to damage the roots!). It will be easier for oxygen to reach the roots and the lemon will grow better.

A native of the tropics, lemon loves to take a shower Spray the plant regularly with a spray bottle and wipe the leaves with a soft, damp cloth. In general, I advise you to turn such water procedures into a weekly ritual.

If your lemon stands next to the central heating battery, then to eliminate the dryness of the air, I recommend turning on an electric humidifier in the room (an ordinary bowl of water can also serve as a replacement for it).

We make a menu for homemade lemon

The phase of active growth in a room lemon falls on the period from February to September. At this time, it is useful to treat the tropical guest with organic and mineral supplements (it is better to alternate them). Fertilizer irrigation is carried out every 10-14 days, not more often.

When caring for a lemon at home, I advise you to pay special attention to special fertilizers for citrus plants, which, in addition to the main nutrients, also include zinc, boron and manganese. To minimize the risk of burning the roots, fertilizer mixtures are served exclusively in liquid form and use reduced concentrations (no more than 1-2 grams per liter of water).

In addition, do not forget the most important principle of feeding any home and garden plant - it is better to underfeed than to overfeed.

Please note that after transplantation (which will be discussed later), the lemon can not be fed for 2-3 months - at this time, the plant has enough nutrients contained in the soil mixture.

When and how to transplant a homemade lemon

With good care, the lemon tree “rushes” literally before our eyes. Up to 10 years, the lemon is transplanted once a year, then the plant is transferred to a larger pot every 2-3 years.

To do this, choose a container 5-7 centimeters wider and deeper than the previous one. Since the roots of citrus plants need a lot of oxygen, it is better to choose containers made of breathable materials, such as clay or wood, for transplanting.

The optimal time for transplanting a lemon is June; in the cold season, this operation is carried out in February.

When compiling a mixture for transplanting a lemon, the age of the plant should be taken into account. For young lemons, a light soil mixture is better, and for older plants, it is more dense, with a high content of clay.

Here are a few options for potting mixes for indoor lemons of different ages:

  1. Plants up to 4 years old: leaf soil, mature manure, high-moor peat, fine river sand (1:2:1:0.5).
  2. Plants from 4 to 10 years old: soddy soil, leafy soil, high-moor peat, lake silt, river sand (2:1:1:1:0.5).
  3. Plants older than 10 years: turf land, leafy land, high peat, lake silt, coarse river sand (3:1:1:2:0.5), ash from straw combustion at the rate of 200 grams per 10-liter bucket of earth.

It is good to enrich any of the mixtures with 100-200 grams of granular superphosphate per 10 liters.

With each transplant, up to 50% of the length of the tap root is removed from the plant. The remaining roots are also shortened by 1.5 -2 centimeters and immersed in a slightly pink solution of potassium permanganate for 5 minutes. For disinfection, you can also powder the cuts with wood ash.

Rules for seasonal lemon care at home

Spring

For lemon, spring comes in early February. From now on, start slowly feeding your green friend. In addition, at the end of winter it is good to do grafting work.

In February and March, lemon plants begin to bloom actively. Indoors, you need to maintain a temperature regime of +16 to +20 degrees.

Shade the plants from the May sun by moving the pots 50-60 centimeters from the window.

Summer

In the warm season, follow the regularity of watering and the timely application of fertilizers. If desired, the lemon can be exposed to fresh air (but not under direct sun!).

Lemon care in the summer also involves intensive feeding (but, again, no more than once every two weeks).

Autumn

Gradually prepare the plant for moving indoors: first bring it into the house for one to two hours, then for half a day, and so on.

From mid-autumn, begin to illuminate the plants with fluorescent lamps.

Winter

In the winter months, make sure that the lemon is not in the through wind, and also that there is no hypothermia of the earthen clod in the pot. Reduce watering to once a week.

If the lemon blooms in the cold season, do not allow all the buds to open (leave no more than 1 flower for every 15 leaves). Let me remind you that in the first year, all the buds from the plant are cut off, not even allowing them to open.

I also present to your attention an overview video about all the rules for caring for lemon at home.

The word "radiation" is more often understood as ionizing radiation associated with radioactive decay. At the same time, a person experiences the action of non-ionizing types of radiation: electromagnetic and ultraviolet.

The main sources of radiation are:

  • natural radioactive substances around and inside us - 73%;
  • medical procedures (radioscopy and others) - 13%;
  • cosmic radiation - 14%.

Of course, there are technogenic sources of pollution that appeared as a result of major accidents. These are the most dangerous events for mankind, because, as in a nuclear explosion, iodine (J-131), cesium (Cs-137) and strontium (mainly Sr-90) can be released in this case. Weapons-grade plutonium (Pu-241) and its decay products are no less dangerous.

Also, do not forget that for the last 40 years the Earth's atmosphere has been very heavily polluted by radioactive products of atomic and hydrogen bombs. Of course, at the moment, radioactive fallout falls only in connection with natural disasters, such as volcanic eruptions. But, on the other hand, during the fission of a nuclear charge at the time of the explosion, a radioactive isotope of carbon-14 is formed with a half-life of 5,730 years. The explosions changed the equilibrium content of carbon-14 in the atmosphere by 2.6%. At present, the average effective dose equivalent rate due to explosion products is about 1 mrem/year, which is approximately 1% of the dose rate due to natural background radiation.

Energy is another reason for the serious accumulation of radionuclides in the human and animal body. The coal used to operate the CHP plant contains naturally occurring radioactive elements such as potassium-40, uranium-238 and thorium-232. The annual dose in the area of coal-fired CHP is 0.5–5 mrem/year. By the way, nuclear power plants are characterized by significantly lower emissions.

Almost all inhabitants of the Earth undergo medical procedures using sources of ionizing radiation. But this is a more complex issue, to which we will return a little later.

What units is radiation measured in?

Various units are used to measure the amount of radiation energy. In medicine, the main one is the sievert - the effective equivalent dose received in one procedure by the whole organism. It is in sieverts per unit time that the level of background radiation is measured. The becquerel is a unit of measure for the radioactivity of water, soil, and so on per unit volume.

See the table for other units of measurement.

Consequences of irradiation

The effect of radiation on a person is called irradiation. Its main manifestation is acute radiation sickness, which has various degrees of severity. Radiation sickness can manifest itself when irradiated with a dose equal to 1 sievert. A dose of 0.2 Sv increases the risk of cancer, and a dose of 3 Sv threatens the life of the irradiated person.

Radiation sickness manifests itself in the form of the following symptoms: loss of strength, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting; dry, hacking cough; cardiac disorders.

In addition, radiation causes radiation burns. Very large doses lead to the death of the skin, up to muscle and bone damage, which is treated much worse than chemical or thermal burns. Along with burns, metabolic disorders, infectious complications, radiation infertility, radiation cataracts may appear.

The consequences of irradiation can manifest themselves after a long time - this is the so-called stochastic effect. It is expressed in the fact that among exposed people the frequency of certain oncological diseases may increase. Theoretically, genetic effects are also possible, but even among the 78,000 Japanese children who survived the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, they did not find an increase in the number of cases of hereditary diseases. And this is despite the fact that the effects of irradiation have a stronger effect on dividing cells, so radiation is much more dangerous for children than for adults.

Short-term exposure to low doses, used for examination and treatment of certain diseases, gives rise to an interesting effect called hormesis. This is the stimulation of any system of the body by external influences that have a force insufficient for the manifestation of harmful factors. This effect allows the body to mobilize forces.

Statistically, radiation can increase the level of oncology, but it is very difficult to identify the direct effect of radiation, separating it from the action of chemically harmful substances, viruses, and other things. It is known that after the bombing of Hiroshima, the first effects in the form of an increase in the incidence began to appear only after 10 years or more. Cancer of the thyroid, breast and certain parts of the body is directly related to radiation.

The natural radiation background is about 0.1–0.2 µSv/h. It is believed that a constant background level above 1.2 μSv / h is dangerous for humans (it is necessary to distinguish between an instantly absorbed radiation dose and a constant background dose). Is it a lot? For comparison: the level of radiation at a distance of 20 km from the Japanese nuclear power plant "Fukushima-1" at the time of the accident exceeded the norm by 1,600 times. The maximum recorded radiation level at this distance is 161 µSv/h. After the explosion, the radiation level reached several thousand microsieverts per hour.

During a 2–3-hour flight over an ecologically clean area, a person receives exposure to 20–30 μSv. The same dose of radiation threatens if a person takes 10-15 pictures in one day with a modern x-ray machine - a visiograph. A couple of hours in front of a cathode ray monitor or TV gives the same dose of radiation as one such picture. The annual dose from smoking one cigarette a day is 2.7 mSv. One fluorography - 0.6 mSv, one radiography - 1.3 mSv, one fluoroscopy - 5 mSv. Radiation from concrete walls - up to 3 mSv per year.

When irradiating the whole body and for the first group of critical organs (heart, lungs, brain, pancreas, and others), regulatory documents set the maximum dose value at 50,000 μSv (5 rem) per year.

Acute radiation sickness develops at a single exposure dose of 1,000,000 μSv (25,000 digital fluorography, 1,000 spinal radiographs in one day). Large doses have an even stronger effect:

  • 750,000 µSv - short-term insignificant change in blood composition;
  • 1,000,000 µSv - mild degree of radiation sickness;
  • 4,500,000 µSv - severe radiation sickness (50% of those exposed die);
  • about 7,000,000 µSv - death.

Are x-rays dangerous?

Most often, we encounter radiation during medical research. However, the doses that we receive in the process are so small that we should not be afraid of them. The irradiation time with an old X-ray machine is 0.5–1.2 seconds. And with a modern visiograph, everything happens 10 times faster: in 0.05-0.3 seconds.

According to the medical requirements set forth in SanPiN 2.6.1.1192-03, during preventive medical radiological procedures, the radiation dose should not exceed 1,000 μSv per year. How much is in pictures? Quite a bit of:

  • 500 sighting images (2–3 μSv) obtained with a radiovisiograph;
  • 100 of the same images, but using a good X-ray film (10–15 µSv);
  • 80 digital orthopantomograms (13–17 µSv);
  • 40 film orthopantomograms (25–30 μSv);
  • 20 computed tomograms (45–60 μSv).

That is, if every day throughout the year we take one image on a visiograph, add to this a couple of computed tomograms and the same number of orthopantomograms, then even in this case we will not go beyond the permitted doses.

Who should not be irradiated

However, there are people to whom even such types of exposure are strictly prohibited. According to the standards approved in Russia (SanPiN 2.6.1.1192-03), irradiation in the form of X-rays can only be performed in the second half of pregnancy, except in cases where the issue of abortion or the need for emergency or emergency care must be resolved.

Paragraph 7.18 of the document reads: “X-ray examinations of pregnant women are carried out using all possible means and methods of protection so that the dose received by the fetus does not exceed 1 mSv in two months of undiagnosed pregnancy. If the fetus receives a dose exceeding 100 mSv, the doctor must warn the patient about the possible consequences and recommend terminating the pregnancy.”

Young people who will become parents in the future need to cover the abdominal area and genitals from radiation. X-ray radiation has the most negative effect on blood cells and germ cells. In children, in general, the entire body should be shielded, except for the area being examined, and studies should be carried out only when necessary and as directed by a doctor.

Sergey Nelyubin, Head of the Department of X-ray Diagnostics, RNCH named after I.I. B. V. Petrovsky, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor

How to protect yourself

There are three main methods of X-ray protection: time protection, distance protection and shielding. That is, the less you are in the zone of action of X-rays and the farther you are from the radiation source, the lower the radiation dose.

Although the safe dose of radiation exposure is calculated for a year, it is still not worth doing several x-ray studies on the same day, for example, fluorography and. Well, each patient should have a radiation passport (it is invested in a medical card): the radiologist enters information about the dose received during each examination into it.

Radiography primarily affects the endocrine glands, the lungs. The same applies to small doses of radiation during accidents and releases of active substances. Therefore, as a preventive measure, doctors recommend breathing exercises. They will help cleanse the lungs and activate the reserves of the body.

To normalize the internal processes of the body and remove harmful substances, it is worth using more antioxidants: vitamins A, C, E (red wine, grapes). Sour cream, cottage cheese, milk, grain bread, bran, raw rice, prunes are useful.

In the event that food products inspire certain concerns, you can use the recommendations for residents of the regions affected by the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.

»
In real exposure due to an accident or in a contaminated area, quite a lot needs to be done. First you need to carry out decontamination: quickly and accurately remove clothes and shoes with radiation carriers, properly dispose of them, or at least remove radioactive dust from your belongings and surrounding surfaces. It is enough to wash the body and clothes (separately) under running water using detergents.

Before or after exposure to radiation, nutritional supplements and anti-radiation drugs are used. The most well-known drugs are high in iodine, which helps to effectively combat the negative effects of its radioactive isotope, which is localized in the thyroid gland. To block the accumulation of radioactive cesium and prevent secondary damage, "Potassium orotate" is used. Calcium supplements deactivate the radioactive strontium preparation by 90%. Dimethyl sulfide is shown to protect cellular structures.

By the way, the well-known activated carbon can neutralize the effect of radiation. And the benefits of drinking vodka immediately after exposure are not a myth at all. It really helps to remove radioactive isotopes from the body in the simplest cases.

Just do not forget: self-treatment should be carried out only if it is impossible to consult a doctor in a timely manner and only in the case of real, not fictitious exposure. X-ray diagnostics, watching TV or flying on an airplane do not affect the health of the average inhabitant of the Earth.

In the modern world, depilation is one of the stages of skin care, as important as manicures and pedicures. After all, every woman wants to have smooth, well-groomed skin without signs of vegetation.

We will talk about all the nuances of female and male depilation, contraindications and home care with Ekaterina Silantieva— a practicing master, a technologist-teacher for depilation and shugaring of ItalWax and Gloria brands of the Star Beauty Service training center.

Is it better to do hair removal in the salon or can you save money and do it at home?

Depilation is an exclusively salon procedure. Firstly, depilation is not only the removal of unwanted hair, but also a multi-stage procedure using special lotions, scrubs, creams and emulsions that cleanse, nourish and moisturize the skin. Secondly, for the procedure for removing unwanted hair, the qualification of the master and the availability of sanitary access are extremely important. A professional master knows different techniques of work, has a wide range of depilation products. He will provide an individual approach to each client, create a comfortable and trusting atmosphere, apply his knowledge and skills in working with different types of hair and skin. We are all different, and if you do not have sufficient skills in removing unwanted hair, do not take into account the presence of individual skin reactions, health conditions, this is fraught with serious consequences that will not only disappoint you in the depilation procedure, but also require a long treatment.

Recently, there have been many proposals for the provision of services at home. And in order to save money, when choosing where to do depilation, some give their preference to low prices, without thinking about what they save on themselves. It should be remembered that at home it is impossible to create and maintain the sanitary standards that are required for the procedure. Do not skimp on your beauty and health! What should you pay attention to when choosing a salon, a master?

When choosing a salon, I advise you to pay attention to:

  1. Suitability of the room for the procedure. The waxing procedure is considered cosmetic, so the salon must have a specialized beauty parlor.
  2. Qualification of the master, the presence of the master of sanitary access to work. In institutions providing depilation services, personnel are recruited with appropriate education. But masters at home often sin by the fact that they got their skills from courses on YouTube, they start working without mastering the techniques, not knowing the characteristics of the materials, etc. It is very important to establish psychological contact with the master. A highly qualified specialist will always be able to find a common language with the client and make the procedure as comfortable as possible.
  3. Tools for the procedure. All accessories for work must be disposable, the procedure itself is carried out by the master only in disposable gloves. A good master in your presence will spread a disposable sheet on the couch and take out a new disposable spatula, which will carry out the procedure for you.
  4. Materials for the procedure, waxes. The professional will only work with materials that are produced for professional use. High-quality professional materials, of course, differ in price from cheaper analogues. But here it is already worth prioritizing: either high-quality results, or an economical option with the ensuing consequences: skin trauma, burns, unclean hair removal and much more.

Do not hesitate to find out all the information from the master before the procedure, a good specialist will always explain everything in detail, tell and show. If something bothers you, you always have every right to refuse the procedure and leave the office. Do not trust your health to amateurs.

What are the contraindications for depilation?

It is worth considering some contraindications for waxing.

  • Violations of the integrity of the skin (cuts, wounds, cracks, etc.).
  • Inflammatory processes of the genital area (thrush (candidiasis), STIs, herpes, etc.).
  • The presence of an allergic reaction to any of the components.
  • Pustular elements on the skin.
  • Acne.
  • Alcohol intoxication.
  • Poor health at the moment (physical malaise, nervous tension, etc.).
  • Varicose veins 3-4 tbsp.
  • Pathology of pregnancy associated with increased muscle tone.

Diabetes mellitus is not a contraindication to depilation, however, with such a diagnosis, there are features in the work that every specialist should know.

Warts, moles, papillomas are not a contraindication, but during the procedure they must be bypassed.

How to prepare for waxing?

  • The day before, the day before the procedure, do a body scrub. This will help cleanse the skin of dry scales that can cause hair to stick to the skin (most often on the shins).
  • It is best to do depilation in the middle of the menstrual cycle, in order to avoid increased skin sensitivity. The most painful period is considered 3 days before and during menstruation. This is an average, but do not forget about individual characteristics.
  • Drinking alcohol before the procedure does not reduce the sensitivity of the skin, but rather exacerbates it.

On the day of the procedure, you should not apply creams, lotions, because. this can prevent the wax from sticking to the hair.

Remember that it is better to come to depilation in a good mood, not irritated or tired, and then the hair removal procedure will seem as easy and pleasant as possible.

What can you advise to those who are embarrassed to go for a depilation procedure?

  • Think about the fact that you are not the first client, so no one will treat you with passion.
  • To dispel doubts, call the master by phone, ask your questions. Chat with the master personally.
  • To feel confident, before visiting, perform the necessary hygiene procedures.
  • Deal with your emotions and tune in a positive way. Your beauty is in your hands.

You decided to do a deep bikini waxing for the first time, but did not expect that it would be so painful? I recommend starting depilation with a classic bikini, secondary depilation is already less sensitive, and next time it will be possible to move on to deeper areas. Listen to your girlfriends less: everyone has a different threshold of sensitivity and it is wrong to lean towards the opinions of others. You should always try it yourself.

I would also like to note: fear tends to disappear as soon as an unusual situation becomes familiar. If you find a suitable master for yourself, the second time you will have no fear, no embarrassment, no discomfort.

Tell us more about the depilation procedure itself? What to expect from the master?

The waxing technique takes place in several stages:

  1. We treat the intended depilation area with a special cleansing cosmetic product. The marker of a good qualification of the master here is the fact that already at this stage special professional tools are used, and not pharmaceutical preparations. The use of professional products allows you to qualitatively prepare the skin for the procedure and make it less painful and more effective.
  2. Then the heated wax is applied to the area to be depilated in the direction of hair growth. After hardening, the wax is removed along with the hair against its growth. The more wax is applied to the same area of the skin, the greater the risk of skin injury, the longer the procedure itself lasts. The better the quality of the wax used for the procedure, the more comfortable the client is: good professional waxes are almost imperceptible on the skin. If you feel how the wax bakes, this is the first sign that you are being depilated with low-quality waxes and unprofessionally. And most importantly, low-quality waxes provoke hair breakage, and not its extraction. As a result - the meaninglessness of the depilation procedure and ingrown hair with all the subsequent "pleasures".
  3. After all the hair has been removed, a special final anti-inflammatory, soothing agent is applied. Here, as at the beginning of the procedure, an unskilled master is no, no, and will try to save on you using a cheaper product or even a cream from the mass market. But an indicator of the high qualification of the master will be the use of special tools after depilation. After all, the delicate follicle exposed after the procedure requires reliable protection from the harmful effects of the environment, the skin needs a soothing component, and the client needs a relaxing aroma and a velvety finish on his “new” perfectly smooth skin. Moreover, the master should have not one such means, but a whole arsenal, since they are different in action, seasons of use, and effects.

After the procedure, as a rule, a point irritation remains, which lasts from 1 hour to a day, depending on the sensitivity of the skin.

Hair after waxing grows in 3-4 weeks. As practice shows, the constant use of depilation leads to the following results:

  • The amount of hair decreases
  • Hair becomes thinner and lighter
  • Each time the procedure is less painful.
  • The skin becomes more delicate and silky due to the absence of a constant irritant - a razor.

For each zone, a certain depilation technique is used and a certain type of wax is used. The depilation master determines which technique and type of wax should be chosen, taking into account the individual characteristics of the skin, hair, as well as other factors. If your master uses only 1 type of wax on all clients, this is a very “alarm bell”. If the master picks up a half-used cartridge, do not hesitate to interrupt the procedure and leave.

What waxes do you work on and what waxes do you recommend to other masters?

During my many years of practice, I have worked on waxes from various manufacturers. Each brand has its advantages and disadvantages. I chose Italwax professional waxes, which are made in Italy. I recommend them to anyone who comes to me for a recommendation. Italwax waxes have advantages that are important for both masters and clients:

  • They have a low melting point, which eliminates the likelihood of burns.
  • They have high plasticity and adhesiveness, which ensures good adhesion to the hair. This means that the time for the procedure is reduced, and they allow you to remove hair with one application without breaking off the hair and discomfort.
  • When depilating with ItalWax waxes, unwanted hair can be removed from the entire surface of the body, even if it is very short.

Recently, the ItalWax line of film waxes has been replenished with ideal products for delicate and sensitive areas.

Italwax synthetic film waxes perfectly solve the problem of removing coarse and even short hair in areas with increased skin sensitivity. Of course, this is, first of all, the bikini area and armpits, but they work great in the most “fastidious” area for women – the face. Capturing the absolute maximum of unwanted hair, the wax does not interact with the skin. It is important that all ItalWax products meet international quality standards.

  • The first 6 hours after depilation, you should not take a shower.
  • The first day after depilation, you should not visit the pool, sauna, swim in ponds, especially sunbathe, go to the solarium - this can provoke the appearance of age spots.
  • After waxing your underarms, do not use deodorants for two days, instead you can use talcum powder or baby powder.
  • After waxing your bikini, do not wear underwear at night before going to bed.
  • It is recommended to use body scrubs, for the prevention of ingrown hairs, with a frequency of 2-3 times a week.
  • It is not recommended to wear tight clothes made of synthetic fabric. However, this advice is relevant not only in the context of care after depilation.
  • If you have fast growing hair or have a predisposition to ingrown hairs, use special products that slow down hair growth and prevent ingrown hairs. The result of their application is really noticeable.

Why do hair grow after depilation?

Often, hair begins to grow in after a home depilation procedure due to non-compliance with the correct technique or work with low-quality products, not enough good home care.

During depilation, we remove only the upper part of the hair, while the bulb is preserved. After a while, a thinner and weaker hair grows out of it, which is unable to grow through the skin, as a result, it often grows into it.

And how to deal with it?

  • Do body scrub at intervals of 2 times a week (after depilation, start a week later). In this way, you will remove dead skin cells, and it will be easier for the hairs to grow through the skin.
  • After taking a bath (shower), it is necessary to moisturize the skin with a nourishing cream, milk or other means.
  • Do not try to remove an ingrown hair yourself: this can lead to scarring, which disappears after a few years. If there is inflammation, treat it with an antiseptic. After a while, the hair will grow and come out on its own. However, if the hair is stuck deep, contact your hair removal specialist.
  • If you have fast growing hair, or have a predisposition to ingrown hair, use an anti-ingrowth and regrowth-slowing product.

Depilation for men is gradually becoming popular. And what are her features? To what extent is this direction developed in Belarus?

Being well-groomed, taking care of yourself is the right trend among modern men. Therefore, male depilation has long been not exotic, but a demanded procedure. More and more men are coming for waxing. However, it should be understood that men's depilation has its own specifics: men's hair is tougher than women's, has stronger roots. In addition, men have more sensitive skin and a lower pain threshold. All these points must be taken into account when depilating, therefore a special wax is also needed. For example, in my practice for male depilation, I use the POUR HOMME film wax of my favorite Italwax brand. This wax is well suited for removing body, underarm and bikini hair, as well as facial hair. I can also recommend this wax for barbershop masters: with the help of wax it will be easy to remove hair on the neck, to make the perfect contour of a haircut, beard and mustache. But it is known that hair removed with wax grows much more slowly.

In my practice, I also use POUR HOMME wax for female depilation.

And in conclusion, I would like to say: “Beauty does NOT require sacrifice!”. Consider all of the above nuances, and you will always be irresistible, without harm to your health.

June 28, 2019 For a long time, body hair has not been a matter of pride. And if men are calm about their dense vegetation, then an extra hair on a woman’s body causes embarrassment and a feeling of insecurity. Laser hair removal has become a salvation for every girl.

March 25, 2019

The main genre of the past 2017 is, of course, hip-hop. even your parents started watching, and rap itself has become a new author's song - the ability to read is now optional, the main thing is to do it fresh, provocative and topical (well, or just cover a recent rap hit): dozens of video bloggers will try to play this one way or another, Ivan Urgant and even . More technical stars also appeared: perhaps the main one is. Provocation and new sincerity also became the main weapon of Antihype - for example, a team of loafers from St. Petersburg acted as a provisional government until Oksimiron returned: the defeat of Purulent did not break him, but rather simply pulled him back - in a couple of months, Fedorov drops an American in a battle Dizaster, collects "Olympic" and a dozen other arenas across the country - and again becomes the main rapper without releasing a single new album.

The Village has compiled a selection of seven materials with which you can learn the materiel - perhaps in 2018 the people's love for hip-hop will not go anywhere.

Interview

Face: "People want me to die at 27"

The Village editor sat for five hours at Moscow City to wait for rock star Ivan Dremin and talk to him about popularity, post-irony, feminism, love, and panic attacks. The 20-year-old rapper will remember his visit to the Comedy Club program (“I ***** [do not care] on television, in his mouth ****”), life in his native Ufa (“I came to a hotel near my house, I they took him there as an assistant administrator") and a beloved Russian musician (Viktor Tsoi).

Mozee Montana: "Armenia blows up, and we are gangsters"

“Your fella is with me, Margiela is on me,” Alina Mkrtchyan, aka Mozee Montana, reads to the booming bass, a 19-year-old rapper from Vladivostok, whose musical career was blessed by one of the titans of Russian hip-hop Oksimiron. A machine gun flashes in the frame every now and then, and “1915” is stamped on the ear of the young artist - in memory of the Armenian genocide. The debut of a daring newcomer in the traditionally chauvinist genre, where misogynistic lyrics are the main weapon of a good half of his heroes, is a signal that in 2017 hip-hop in Russia was developing steadily. According to Alina, she moved to Moscow with one goal - to conquer the top of the rap game, and earned her first million already at 18. Mozee Montana told The Village about gender discrimination in hip-hop, the fight against depression and her business in the Moscow market.

Photosynthez, the new Instagram rap sensation is about working as a hairdresser, haters and Fester

An excellent example of how in 2017, not only profile specialists came to popularity in social networks with the help of hip-hop. Katya Photosynthez, whose amateur clips (budget - 200 rubles) have spread throughout the public, does not look like a typical rapper or even a video blogger - rather, a student of the philological faculty. The texts also deviate from the canons of the genre: instead of hedonism - "naive art" and cabbage soup, instead of Gucci and stones on the wrist - "ugly trousers". We met with a rapper-hairdresser and talked about her life, likes from Dima Bilan, favorite track of Glory of the CPSU and haters.

Tea is not just leaves drenched in boiling water, it is a real drink of emperors, which, if handled correctly, gives eternal youth and a boost of energy. Unfortunately, today we choose tea bags, giving preference not to taste and benefits, but to simplicity and convenience. In order to understand the mistake and fill in the gaps in tea education, we have compiled a concise but more than complete encyclopedia of tea.

There are three types of classification: according to the type of tea plant (Chinese, Assamese and Cambodian varieties), according to its origin (China, India, Japan, etc.) and according to the degree of fermentation. We will dwell on the last point in more detail, since the duration and method of leaf oxidation to a greater extent affect the appearance, aroma, taste and other characteristics of tea.

Classification according to the degree of fermentation differs in Europe and Asia, but since China is the world leader in tea production (more than a quarter of the world's production), we will take the Chinese tradition of separation as a basis. So, according to the Chinese classification, tea is usually divided into six groups.

White

This species is produced exclusively in the Chinese province of Fujian. When collecting white tea, special attention is paid to the selection of leaves, only young buds (tips) and half-blown leaves covered with white pile are selected. The peculiarity of the processing of white tea is that it is only dried in the sun, and the tea leaf remains in its natural form.

Beneficial features: Even at the beginning of our era, white tea was considered the elixir of immortality. However, if at that time this drink was available only to emperors, today everyone can admire it. Of all the varieties, it is the most useful due to its soft and short-lived processing. White tea is rich in vitamins C and B1, improves digestion, strengthens the immune system and cardiovascular system, protects against viruses, bacteria, has anti-cancer properties, and is useful for those suffering from varicose veins.

The infusion has a floral aroma and sweetish taste, has a cooling effect on the body. White tea is very sensitive to temperature, so it should not be brewed with too hot water (60–75°C). It is necessary to brew about a third of the volume of the kettle.

Green

Green tea is close in production to white. The difference lies in the selected leaves themselves and the method of drying. Selected leaves are slightly dried in the open air. At the moment when they become soft and wither, they are briefly subjected to heat treatment, on which the taste of the drink directly depends: it dulls the activity of enzymes and stops the oxidation processes. The leaves are then shaped by hand, thus regulating the extraction of essential oils and other active ingredients during the brewing process. The last stage of tea preparation is drying, which consolidates the work done earlier.

Beneficial features: this type of tea contains a lot of caffeine, even more than coffee, so it’s better to start the morning with it. Green tea is also useful for people with reduced immunity. The benefits of green tea are also determined by catechins, which are useful for the prevention of cardiovascular and oncological diseases.

Taste qualities and method of brewing: brew green tea for 1–3 minutes with water (80°C). Depending on the variety, tea can be brewed 2 to 6 times. The infusion can have a color from golden to dark green.

Yellow

Manufactured only in China in the Hunan province. For a long time, Europe was not aware of its existence, since the export of yellow tea from China was punishable by death. Now the export of this variety is limited, one of the reasons is the labor intensity and low profitability of the production of yellow tea. Only specially selected tea bushes of a special variety can be used, from which only buds are harvested, and tea processing lasts about three days.

Beneficial features: relieves spasms, headaches, increases the body's ability to resist external destructive factors. Tones, promotes mental activity.

Taste qualities and method of brewing: brew yellow tea for no more than 2-3 minutes with water 60-70 ° C. Yellow tea has a sweet aftertaste and is unlike any other tea. The color of the infusion is yellowish amber with a pale pink tint.

Oolong (turquoise tea)

Oolong is translated as "black dragon", it is also called turquoise tea. For this variety, mature leaves are collected from bushes that have grown high in the mountains, and they are laid out in the sun in a layer of several centimeters for withering for 30-60 minutes. Then the leaves ripen in bamboo baskets in the shade. The process of "cooking" ends with calcination with hot air. The finished oolong has the appearance of tightly twisted balls that bloom when brewed.

Beneficial features: tea stimulates the appetite, has cleansing properties. Useful for weight loss.

Taste qualities and method of brewing: brewing takes place using water at 70–75°C, sometimes, depending on the variety, with hotter water. Oolong tea has a floral aroma and peach flavor, ranging in color from pale green to deep red.

Red

Black tea, as we call it, or red tea, as it is called in China, differs from other varieties by the longest possible production process. Tea leaves wither for 12-18 hours. As a result, the leaves lose moisture, after which they are tightly rolled and transferred to large, heated, damp and dark rooms, where they are oxidized. The Chinese do not consume this variety, but they export it in huge quantities.

Beneficial features: stimulates the cardiovascular system, improves the functioning of the kidneys, the digestive system.

Taste qualities and method of brewing: the flavor of the tea can range from floral to fruity, nutty or spicy. Brewing is done with rather hot water (90-100°C) for 2-5 minutes. Color - from gold to brown-red.

Black

In China, black tea is called pu-erh. The collected leaves, processed as for green tea, are subjected to an aging procedure and pressing. Unlike other types of tea, it does not deteriorate over time, but improves in taste. For a more or less complete disclosure of its properties, tea needs from 2 to 3 years of storage, and for an absolute taste - from 10 to 20 years.

Beneficial features: It has a beneficial effect on the cardiovascular system and helps to lower blood cholesterol, digestion of fatty foods, perfectly quenches thirst, helps to cope with hangovers and food poisoning.

Taste qualities and method of brewing: for brewing, on average, take 4 g of tea per 150 ml of water. Brewed with boiling water. It has a taste of dried fruit and wood with a slight spice.
