Budget gift for a geography teacher on March 8

A universal selection of gift ideas for any occasion and occasion. Surprise your friends and loved ones! ;)

Good day, dear readers! We all know that the teaching staff of schools mainly consists of representatives of the fairer sex. Therefore, in the spring, the question of what gift to give to the teacher on March 8, first of all, on behalf of the entire class, becomes relevant. The task is not easy. Today we will talk about how to successfully solve it.

What is appropriate to give to a teacher on March 8?

At school, it is customary to limit yourself to either only a flower bouquet or a present. Both options are appropriate on. Buy a practical item - something that the teacher uses in his work.

To please the teacher, you can do the following:

  • You can choose excellent thematic encyclopedias and simply interesting subject literature. It’s a good idea to stop at any collector's edition.
  • Every teacher will find it useful pointer- not ordinary, but telescopic. It is a real ballpoint pen that can easily be turned into an original pointer. This wonderful gift will be useful to the teacher. The pointer pen can be attached to both a notebook and a diary.
  • Feel free to give original notebooks or the same ones mentioned above diaries– better, of course, in leather binding.
  • Humanities teachers will be grateful for large format photo album– as I know, many of them are used to store various images that help in preparing and conducting lessons.

Useful gifts for teachers include the purchase of:

  • comfortable chair,
  • unusual organizer,
  • branded set of pens,
  • interactive whiteboard with projector,
  • beautiful table lamp.

Each of these things will be useful for teachers to teach our children.

Help the class teacher design your subject class.

  1. For your geography teacher, buy a large illuminated one with a physical and political map of the world. globe.
  2. The teacher of Russian language and literature will be grateful to the new portraits of literary classics, unusually designed alphabet or Russian language rules.
  3. The mathematician will be delighted with the unique composition of geometric shapes and new measuring instruments.
  4. “English” or “German” - flag or picture of the corresponding country.

There is also a universal gift that is suitable for teachers of any discipline - original flower pot.

For home, for family

However, before buying anything expensive, consult with the recipient. Perhaps she doesn’t need the planned thing.

But it’s even better when students present their teachers with personal gifts made with their own hands on Women’s Day:

  • traditional hand drawn cards,
  • more labor-intensive, made using the appliqué method - fabric, leather, coffee beans, etc.,
  • older children can cast a gift candle
  • or make real soap.
  1. Looks very attractive paper gifts made using the origami technique. Let your child create such a miracle from ordinary sheets of paper. A gorgeous kind, a gentle dove, a proud swan and a cheerful parrot - teachers keep such handmade gifts for many years.
  2. But you need to guide your children. Tell your daughter, let her call the teacher a napkin or sew a picture.
  3. Even high school students can prepare a gift with their own hands. It is enough to find a photo of your teacher, captured in various life circumstances, how you can make interesting collage. Many people now know how to use Photoshop.
  4. Or remember your school days and give them the now forgotten idea of a man-made wall newspaper. The teacher will definitely like this gift.

With this, let me say goodbye to you and wish you to find yours.

Sincerely, Anastasia Skoracheva

The first advice is to forget about banal gifts. Women are given enough souvenirs. Why add trinkets from students to your collection? Teachers don’t need soft toys, it’s nice to receive sweets, but what will be left as a keepsake from another box of chocolates? Before making a choice, pay attention to her age, character traits, and the subject she teaches. A suitable option will appear by itself!

  • Flower vase, interior decoration.
  • Houseplant in a pot.
  • Award statuette, certificate or diploma.
  • Gift order or medal.
  • Set of cosmetics, jewelry.
  • Computer accessories.
  • Table lamp, personalized stationery.
  • Small household appliances.
  • Set for tea or coffee.
  • Briefcase, bag, folder for papers.
  • An album containing photographs of children.
  • A joint trip to a museum, an exhibition, or a theater.
  • Gift certificate for a perfume store.

Handmade items remain common gifts for March 8th. During labor lessons, boys will make postcards, crafts from natural materials, and coasters. The girls will gladly bake a cake, buns, cookies, and organize a festive tea party. During the feast, please the teacher with your own poems, perform a song, or act out a theatrical scene. The main attribute of Women's Day is a bouquet of flowers.

Choosing an inexpensive but useful gift for a teacher

Teachers are accustomed to standard gifts. The list of things does not change from year to year! Leave mugs, t-shirts and planners behind. Get creative. Replace the chocolate bar with a bouquet of sweets or a jar of Tasty Help pills. After hard work, it's not a sin to eat a couple of jelly beans. A female teacher will be happy to receive a fruit basket, a personalized set of honey, and nuts with wishes. A charge of positivity on March 8 will not harm anyone.

A useful present is not the most original gift, but it looks solid and appropriate. The teacher will be happy to use a laser pointer, a computer projector, and disks with visual aids. In addition to them, a modern teacher should have a flash drive with a large amount of memory, a wireless mouse and keyboard, an audio headset and a USB hub. Among the gifts that will be beneficial:

Annual subscription to a pedagogical magazine. It is definitely worth giving to your teacher. The more new things the teacher learns, the more interesting the classes will become.

M.Studio glasses case. Trimmed with genuine leather with multi-colored inserts. It will be useful for a woman who constantly wears glasses or uses them for writing.

Bladeless USB fan. Is your teacher suffering due to lack of air conditioning? Giving her a funny gift will amuse her and partially solve the problem.

Door holder Ring. Rubber stopper in the shape of a woman's ring. An irreplaceable thing when there is not enough fresh air in the classroom.

Small items holder “Nest”. A desktop organizer that can accommodate a large amount of stationery. One of the most useful gifts for a teacher.

What to give to your favorite teacher on March 8

Among the teachers there is one whom I would like to congratulate personally. One student is crazy about her subject, another feels good about it. Parents should support the child’s initiative and help with the choice. Teachers will appreciate the student's attentiveness.

An individual gift should be a pleasant sign of attention, and not be perceived as a bribe. Surprises in the form of an envelope with money are not suitable. An inexpensive gift would be a suitable option. A good idea: give an original bookmark, aroma lamp or candles, photo frame, office decoration. Your favorite teacher will be pleased with a personalized pen or plate, a candy bowl, gift soap, an unusual flowerpot, and also:

Stencils for decorating coffee. Give them to a drink connoisseur. Using cinnamon, grated chocolate and coffee beans, a woman will create amazing compositions.

Money box "Rubles - Euro". A teacher cannot boast of a high salary. A talisman for attracting cash is a suitable gift for him.

Japanese kindergarten “Simple solutions”. The world in miniature. The composition you gave can be modified. The essence will remain the same: creating an atmosphere of warmth and comfort in the home.

Scarf "Fox". Will warm your favorite teacher. The spring sun is treacherous. There is no need to rush into switching to lightweight clothing.

Bumper with rhinestones for iPhone. One of the most beautiful gifts. The owner of an Apple device will be surprised how well the case fits with the smartphone.

What to give your class teacher on March 8

The class teacher spends more time with children than other teachers. Her task is to find an approach to each student and solve children's problems. Don’t think that choosing a gift for your class teacher is easier than for subject teachers. There are many options and you need to choose the best one.

An interesting idea is to order a congratulatory newspaper for the teacher. Add a couple of “notes” from school life to your holiday issue. The idea will be appreciated! Another interesting idea is to give a bag with the text “March 8th”. Be concise, limiting yourself to the name of the teacher or a catchphrase. The result will be a memorable women's accessory. A class gift could be: a robe or blanket with embroidery, a photo book, an anti-stress pillow, a set of wine glasses, a drink dispenser. Please also pay attention to:

Photobox “Pink Dreams”. Children remember their teachers, and teachers remember their students. A wooden cube with pull-out compartments will hold dozens of memorable photos.

Kettle with whistle. One of the most common gift options. It remains relevant because kitchenware needs updating.

Coaster "Real Woman". A cool surprise for an authoritative teacher. A commemorative engraving or name plate on the box would be appropriate.

Mini bar. Includes 6 wine glasses and decanter. The owner will remember the gift as the next holiday approaches. Doesn’t it involve a feast with the family?

Portrait on the mirror. A good sign of attention. To make it you will need to choose a good photo. The work will take two days.

What to give a teacher on March 8th. Surprises for subject teachers

Every teacher deserves attention on International Women's Day. Even if she teaches not the most important discipline. A present on the 8th will demonstrate your attitude towards a person. Please the woman.

When choosing a gift, consider the teacher's specialization. So, a physics teacher will be surprised when she is presented with Newton's cradle. Not a visual aid, but a tabletop device with hanging balls. A literature teacher cannot be left without books. A volume of poems by your favorite poet is a win-win holiday option. A gift for a chemistry teacher will be March coffee. To prepare the drink, you will have to remove the ingredients from the tin and mix them.

Bird ceramic dispenser. When purchasing, remember your chemistry teachers. They measure substances in grams, conduct experiments, and wash their hands after experiments.

Massaging Hoop Exerciser with magnets. You can give it to your physical education teacher. Exercise will strengthen your abdominal muscles and make your waist slimmer. I want to look up to the beautiful athlete.

Book “Love Cards of the 20th Century”. The literature teacher is interested in messages from a hundred years ago. When there was no Internet, people wrote touching letters to each other.

Cable holder. Gift ideas for a computer science teacher are on the surface. So that a woman does not get confused in the intricacy of wires, it is better to collect them into bundles.

Mosaic from photos. Please your art teacher with a gift. Having determined the direction of contemporary art, she will offer to depict something similar in the next lesson.

Electric plasma lamp. Light discharges hold no secrets for a physics connoisseur. They are fun to watch and encourage students to explore complex formulas.

Gel anthill. Your biology teacher will be delighted with the gift. It is difficult to find a more suitable visual aid for studying insects.

High school students independently prepare gifts for “cool mothers” and subject teachers. Parents prepare gifts for primary school teachers. Back in January and February, mothers of first-graders have debates about what to give the teacher on March 8th from their parents. Disputes sometimes take serious turns.

Gift for March 8th to the first teacher

Primary school is the most important stage in the life of young students and their parents. Particular care should be taken not only when preparing homework, but also when choosing gifts for teachers. After all, the general psychological climate in the classroom largely depends on how close the teacher’s communication with parents is.

Gift for a first grade teacher

The first gift to a teacher on March 8 from parents should be neutral. All teachers love flowers, and a bouquet from the class will be accepted with gratitude. In addition to the bouquet, you can add sweets in the “Mercy” style. It is important that the packaging of the treat carries words of gratitude and good wishes. Of course, a first memorial card is needed on behalf of first-graders and their parents.

If, according to the decision of the parent meeting, such a congratulation is not enough, then you can add something necessary and useful to the classroom to the gift. There are many options: from wall clocks to magnetic aids.

Gifts for teachers of grades 2-3

Having gotten to know the teacher better, parents have more freedom in choosing a gift for March 8th. Now, individual shades are added to traditional bouquets. When choosing flowers, parents focus on the teacher’s favorite varieties of roses or orchids. Gifts from a teacher's hobby will always be appropriate and welcome.

Gift for fourth grade teacher

The last year of primary school leaves its mark on the choice of gifts for the first teacher. Every gift given to her throughout the year is symbolic. Children are already quite old and are able to choose flowers, cards and souvenirs on their own. Gifts from the parent committee by March 8 may not be too expensive, but certainly memorable. Souvenirs with engravings like “To my beloved NN with gratitude from the parents of the 4th “A””, date have proven themselves to be quite good.

In the graduating class, it is important that the gift is personal. One that will be useful in your home interior for many years, and at the same time will remind you of your children with every casual glance. More expensive gifts are given to the first teacher at the farewell party to the elementary school.

March 8 gifts for middle school and high school teachers

The transition of children to 5th grade expands the circle of teachers who must be congratulated on International Women’s Day. The majority of teachers are women. The parent committee is faced with a new task: what to give to teachers on March 8th. There will be a festive concert at school on the eve of the holiday, after which you can present small gifts to subject students.

Gifts for subject teachers

In high school, the children themselves will come up with what gifts to give to the “historians” and “English girls.” In grades 5-7, parents decide what to give and to whom. The class budget scheduled for March 8 plays an important role here.

Subject students can be given books and souvenirs on the subject of the discipline, postcards and single roses. A large bouquet will probably be presented to your subject student by the parent committee of his class. Try not to forget anyone, even give a small souvenir to the technician cleaning the classroom. Such an attentive class will be remembered at school for many years to come.

What to give to your class teacher

The choice of a gift for the class teacher requires special attention. Just like in first grade, it is important to “test the waters.” Ask other schoolchildren and their parents about the preferences and tastes of the new class teacher. Flowers and a gift made at the prompting of “experienced” parents will delight the teacher on the eve of the International Women's Day.

The class teacher at school always teaches some discipline. A gift for March 8 can be associated with his professional activities. Alternatively, you can give:

  • For the geographer - a modern, brightly illustrated atlas;
  • For the teacher of Russian language and literature - a gift edition of Rosenthal;
  • For a foreign language teacher - a souvenir brought from a native speaker country, an original edition of a book in the language being taught;

It is more difficult for mathematicians and computer scientists to choose a themed gift. The teacher will be pleased with an unusual clock with mathematical formulas on the dial or interesting interior designs in the form of cleverly woven geometric shapes.

Without exception, all teachers like gifts made by themselves by the entire class team with the support of parents. They proudly show homemade photo collages and wall newspapers with touching drawings and congratulations to their colleagues in the staff room.

What not to give to teachers on March 8

Pedagogical ethics does not allow accepting gifts from parents in the form of money and alcohol; this is taboo.

You should also not give cosmetics or perfume. Such gifts are given by very close people.

Items of clothing as gifts are also prohibited. Unless your teacher is a fan of folk style, and as a gift you chose a designer scarf in the Russian style from V. Zaitsev.

Little tricks

Gift options vary. The main goal is to emphasize how grateful you are for teaching and raising children.

Gifts with two “approaches” are very original and thoughtful. In first grade, you can make a bouquet of children’s cardboard palms, with the children’s wishes and signatures. And in the fourth, repeat the surprise. The teacher will compare with emotion what crumbs came to her four years ago, and how big they have become now.

With regard to gifts that are expensive in financial terms, parents should adhere to the rule of increasing prices in the expectations of the teacher. If in the fifth grade you give a gold ring, then in the seventh grade earrings or a necklace made of precious metal are expected. By the eleventh grade, it is possible to purchase a car on March 8th. Of course, this is a joke, but no one has canceled the rules for increasing the value of gifts in our schools.

The best gift is the one given from the heart. And the more schoolchildren and their parents come to congratulate the teacher, the more pleasant this moment will be for her. Don’t put the responsibility on the parents’ committee alone; take a moment to congratulate them in person, at least via SMS.

On March 8, we traditionally congratulate all the beautiful ladies. This is a day when we can once again remind all women how important and needed they are. We must not forget about our favorite teachers, most of whom belong to the fair sex. It is very important to choose a nice present, but it is not easy, because every year you have to come up with something new. If you can’t decide what to give your teacher on March 8 this time, use our tips.

How to choose a gift for a teacher on March 8

If you want to truly please your teacher, try to avoid banal and useless presentations. The teacher probably already has a lot of different souvenirs and doesn’t even have anywhere to put them. Therefore, try to choose something more or less practical or simply original, taking into account such factors as:

  • Recipient's age;
  • Interests, tastes, hobbies;
  • Features of character and lifestyle.

Remember that overly personal gifts are strictly prohibited, as this goes against the rules of decency. It is better to choose something for use at work or for creativity.

It is very important to correctly determine the acceptable cost of a gift. Personally, it is better to give something inexpensive, purely symbolic, so that it does not look like an attempt to bribe. And it’s better to give such a gift in private, so as not to give other students and parents unnecessary reason to talk. A gift from the whole class can be more expensive, but the presentation should be made solemn, with the participation of all children.

What to give a teacher on March 8 – traditional options

Many teachers are accustomed to traditional gifts, have a positive attitude towards them and look forward to them with joy. Most often, teachers are given sweets and money - simple and practical. But every year bringing a similar box of sweets, and even more so an envelope with money, is somehow ugly. Therefore, it is worth trying to design and present even the most traditional gift in an interesting and original way.

If you decide to give sweets, it doesn’t have to be a banal box of chocolates. An excellent alternative would be:

  • Bouquet of sweets. It’s beautiful and tasty, and considering the pre-holiday prices for flowers, it’s also economical. You can make such a composition yourself, but it is better to entrust this work to a professional so that the flowers turn out beautiful and neat.
  • Flowers made of chocolate or other sweets. They can be ordered at the bakery.
  • Original cake. Order a cake with a unique design for your favorite teacher, for example, mastic figures based on the theme of the subject or a photograph of the students.
  • Set of cupcakes with cool school themed decor.

If your teacher does not have a sweet tooth, you can give a fruit composition - it’s beautiful and healthy. Another idea is a grocery basket. Various goodies are often given to teachers, but bringing them in a simple bag is unattractive, but if you put everything in a beautiful basket it will turn out elegant and practical.

A good alternative to traditional bouquets is a flower in a vacuum. It will not fade, and will remind the teacher of her beloved students for many years.

Cash gifts deserve special attention. They must be given very carefully so that it does not look like an attempt to give a bribe. In many schools, such gifts are prohibited, but if yours allows you to give money, try to decorate your gift beautifully. It is better not to use a standard envelope from a newsstand, but to choose a handmade postcard using the scrapbooking technique. Another good idea is to give a gift in a box. The box itself is a good present that most women will like, and if there is money inside, the teacher will definitely be happy.

A slightly risky option is flowers or other ikebana made from money. On the one hand, it’s interesting and unusual, on the other hand, bringing money to a teacher’s workplace is somehow ugly, even if you make a cool figurine out of it.

What to give a teacher on March 8 related to work

One of the best gift ideas for a teacher is something work-related. This is not very original and festive, but it is always decent and appropriate. The best professional gifts for a teacher:

  • Set of stationery. If you want, you can choose something original and stylish, but classic options are also welcome, because many teachers are adherents of the traditional style.
  • Laser pointer. This is one of the work tools needed by every teacher. If you already have one, a second one will also not be superfluous, because devices often break, especially if they fall into the hands of children.
  • Flash drive. In the modern world, it has long become one of the necessary attributes of a teacher’s work. You can choose something traditional or a beautiful jewelry flash drive for a stylish teacher.
  • Wireless mouse, keyboard and other computer accessories. Many modern school classrooms are equipped with computer equipment, so such a gift will be useful and appropriate.
  • Didactic materials to help teachers in their work. The choice depends on the specialization of the teacher and the occupancy of the classroom. In this case, it will be useful to clarify in advance what exactly can be given. There will be no surprise, but you will insure yourself against mistakes and are guaranteed to please the recipient.
  • Annual subscription to a specialized publication. Many good magazines are not cheap, so not every teacher can buy them with his own money, but your gift will help with this.

When choosing a professional gift for a teacher, it is advisable not to buy things that can only be in the office, for example, magnetic boards. If the teacher decides to change jobs, he will not be able to take the gift with him. It turns out that you are giving a gift not to the teacher, but to the school.

What is a useful gift for a teacher on March 8?

Care is required when choosing practical gifts. It is important to choose a present that is really needed, but not too everyday and personal. Opinions differ regarding traditional towels and other home textiles. Previously, they were often given as gifts, but still this is not the best option. Surely the teacher has everything she needs, and such a gift will be lying somewhere in a pile of other textiles.

A good idea is to present something useful related to comfort, beauty, and health. Best options:

  • Wall Clock. They can be used in the office or taken home. Only superstitious ladies should not give such gifts.
  • Indoor plant. Another beautiful gift that can be left at work or taken home in memory of the students who gave it.
  • Coffee maker or electric kettle depending on what drink the teacher prefers.
  • Warm blanket. It is advisable to choose a modern model with sleeves so that it is convenient to hold a book or check students’ notebooks.
  • Table lamp or night light. This is a pleasant, useful and versatile gift that will be appropriate for any occasion.

If you don’t know what the teacher might like, it’s better not to risk choosing unsuccessful gifts. A gift certificate will help out in such a situation. It is better to choose something universal, for example, a certificate from a cosmetics and perfumery store. A spa certificate would also be a good choice. This is a great opportunity to relax with benefits for your health and appearance, so any woman will like it.

Not the best option is a certificate to a beauty salon or cosmetologist. The recipient may think that she is considered unattractive or, worse, unkempt.

What to give a teacher on March 8th is unusual and individual

An individual approach to choosing a gift is always good, as the recipient sees that you really tried when choosing a gift for him. Very often such gifts are not at all expensive, but the impressions from them remain the best. Interesting ideas:

  • Notebook in a leather cover with name embossing;
  • Pen with engraving;
  • Portrait interior doll;
  • Painting, written or printed on canvas from a photo.

You can make a good individual gift with your own hands. But the attitude towards such gifts is ambiguous. Usually these are just cute souvenirs that have no practical use. In addition, the level of their implementation often leaves much to be desired. Therefore, if you are not a professional, it is better not to take risks by planning something serious. Let a cute souvenir made by the hands of children and their parents be a pleasant addition to a more practical gift.

Good options for such souvenirs:

  • Festive wall newspaper with photographs of the teacher and all the children, pleasant congratulations and wishes.
  • Homemade baked goods from children. You can make cookies in the shape of figure eights or painted gingerbread cookies with the names of students.
  • Scrapbook with photographs of children. It is advisable to collect cool photos from school events where there is a teacher.
  • Large photo collage. It will become a decoration for the office and will remain as a memory of the holidays and class.

To improve the impression of the gift, you can get together and prepare a theatrical congratulation for the teacher. She will certainly be happy with both the present and the attention from the children and their parents.

With the arrival of spring, certain worries arise related to the choice of gifts for beautiful ladies on March 8th. It is especially difficult for schoolchildren to choose a souvenir for the teacher. In this case, various handmade gizmos will come to the rescue.

Homemade Holiday Gifts for Teachers

A holiday gift for a teacher is an important aspect of the student-teacher relationship. Presenting a purchased gift is not always appropriate; moreover, such a sign of attention may be interpreted incorrectly or even offend the teacher. However, this does not mean that the idea of presenting a souvenir should be abandoned. If a schoolchild wants to give a gift to the teacher, then it is better to make it with your own hands.

In Japan, a person who receives a gift is obliged to give something in return - this is the tradition. Therefore, subordinates never give anything to their boss, and schoolchildren never give anything to their teachers.

Applique postcard

Spring-themed postcards are considered a universal gift for March 8th. Such a gift can be presented to any subject teacher, but it will be especially appreciated by a teacher of primary school, drawing or artistic culture. Volumetric paper souvenirs look the most original. To create such a gift you will need:

The postcard is made as follows:

  1. We cut out a strip from a sheet of cardboard, the size of which should be approximately 10x22 cm.
  2. Fold it in half, but so that one side is 2 cm longer than the other.

    Fold the cardboard so that one side is larger

  3. We bend this edge as shown in the picture.

    Bend the long side 2 cm

  4. We trim the edges of the card, drawing lines with a pencil and ruler to give it a trapezoidal shape and make it look like a pot.

    Draw lines to trim the edges of the card evenly

  5. We connect the sides with glue.
  6. We decorate the outwardly curved upper edge with a strip of corrugated cardboard.
  7. We decorate the resulting pot by gluing butterflies cut out of colored paper. You can also use ready-made stickers.

    We decorate the pot with corrugated cardboard and other elements

  8. We make a blank for a bouquet in the shape of a mushroom from colored cardboard.

    Preparing the basis for the second part of the postcard

  9. We cut out petals and leaves from colored paper and corrugated cardboard and decorate the hat with them. We decorate the core of the flowers with beads, rhinestones or any other elements you like.

    We decorate the blank with leaves and flowers made of corrugated cardboard and colored paper

  10. We write wishes and congratulations on the stem of a cardboard mushroom with a gel pen or felt-tip pen.

    We sign the bouquet card and insert it into a cardboard pot

  11. We insert this part of the card into the finished pot.

Felt crafts

Those who are comfortable with a needle and thread can sew small crafts from soft felt. You can purchase the material at any craft supply store. A cute toy will decorate an office or home interior; a technology teacher whose subject is related to handicrafts will especially like it. And such a thing as a bookmark will be suitable for all teachers, because any teacher has to read a lot of literature, and this useful accessory will come in handy.

Bookmark

Bookmark - a win-win gift option for any teacher

Prepare the materials and tools necessary to make a souvenir:

  • felt;
  • cotton pads;
  • embroidery threads;
  • thin elastic band;
  • pencil;
  • a small narrow glass;
  • scissors;
  • sewing needles.

The process of creating a bookmark looks like this:

  1. Place the glass on the felt and trace it with a pencil. Thus, you need to make 2 blanks.
  2. Cut out 2 circles from the material along the outlined contours.

    Cut out circles from the material

  3. We embroider flowers on one of them using loops.

    We embroider flowers using the “lazy daisy” stitch

  4. We decorate the same blank with other elements, for example, stars made from regular stitches.

    Add other embroidered elements to decorate the workpiece

  5. To make the bookmark soft and voluminous, cotton pads are placed between the circles.

    Insert cotton pads between the blanks

  6. An elastic band is inserted between them, the ends of which must first be connected.

    Place elastic band between layers

  7. At the final stage, all layers are stitched together. In this case, the stitches must pass through the elastic band in order to secure it tightly.

    We sew all the elements together tightly so that the bookmark does not fall apart.

Such a topiary will decorate the teacher’s office and will not go unnoticed

DIY collective souvenirs

Congratulations poster

On the one hand, giving a gift from the class is easier: brainstorming will help you choose the appropriate option faster. On the other hand, it is more difficult, because often each student wants to implement only his own idea, and disagreements may arise. Therefore, it is recommended to use a proven group gift idea.

As a rule, posters for teachers for International Women's Day are made in the form of a wall newspaper with wishes. The manufacturing process has the following features:

  1. To create a gift, select 1 sheet of whatman paper or glue 8 A4 sheets together.
  2. All the elements conceived by the students are marked with a pencil, and then the background is designed using paints, felt-tip pens, stamps and other supplies.
  3. Then congratulations, poems are written in, and selected illustrations are pasted in. Photos of schoolchildren and the teacher are also posted. If there is someone in the team who has good computer skills and image editing programs, then you can instruct this student to make a collage in advance, which will then be printed and attached to the wall newspaper.
  4. At the final stage, it is recommended to supplement the poster with three-dimensional elements. For example, flowers made using the quilling technique, small toys or ready-made wooden figurines, which can be purchased at a craft store and even painted as you wish.

Such a collage can be made in an image editor on a computer, and then printed and decorated. A poster with applications can also be given to a teacher. And such a poster is a real wall newspaper! Neat and spring-like bright holiday poster

Bouquet of paper flowers and sweets

An original solution - a bouquet of paper flowers with sweets hidden in the buds

If making a poster seems like an inappropriate idea, then you can opt for a more original version of a present for a teacher on March 8th - a bouquet of paper flowers with candies inside. Its creation takes a lot of time if you do everything alone, but collectively such a gift can be made quickly. To do this you will need the following materials and tools:

  • loose colored cardboard or scrapbooking paper with patterns;
  • candies (it is better to choose those packed in foil; it is easier to place them in paper flowers);
  • bamboo sticks;
  • cellophane paper;
  • green corrugated tape (if it is not possible to use this material, then you can get by with paper napkins);
  • colored ribbons;
  • glue or glue gun;
  • scissors;
  • pencil.

The bouquet is assembled according to the following algorithm:

  1. Using scissors, we divide the cellophane paper into squares (their size is selected so that each piece can be wrapped with candy and still have free edges 2–3 cm long).

    Wrap the candy in cellophane paper

  2. We take a bamboo stick, put candy on it and wrap it all in cellophane, the ends of which are twisted so that the sweet is tightly attached to the stick.

    Attach the candy to the bamboo stick by twisting the edges of the cellophane

  3. We wrap the “stem” with green corrugated tape. You should start from the cellophane, fixing its edges.

    Wrap the bamboo stick with corrugated tape to the middle

  4. When the bamboo stick is wrapped to the place where you plan to attach the leaves, fix the corrugated tape with glue or a glue gun.
  5. Using a pencil, mark out bud blanks on colored cardboard or scrapbooking paper (for each flower you need 2 different colors and sizes), cut them out, and make holes in the middle. Immediately prepare the leaves.

    We fix larger buds in the same way.

  6. We take leaves cut out of cardboard, fix them with corrugated tape or a napkin in the place where we finished wrapping the bamboo stick, and wrap the “stem” to the end (we fix the free edge of the material with glue or a glue gun).

    We begin to attach the leaves from the place where we finished wrapping the bamboo stick with corrugated tape.

  7. When a sufficient number of flowers are ready, we tie them with colored ribbons. The bouquet is assembled!

Poor decisions when creating a gift

Of course, we must not forget that there are gifts that can offend and even anger a teacher:

  • The most pleasant thing is to receive a gift that is made carefully and beautifully, so it is advisable that the manufacturing process take place under the supervision of an adult. It is better to refuse to present a souvenir that was not completed successfully.
  • The craft should not contain indecent pictures or words.
  • It is advisable to avoid possible ambiguities and hints. For example, if you plan to make a parrot out of felt, you need to think about whether the teacher for whom the gift is intended will think that the student is hinting that he is repeating the same thing several times.
  • It is also better not to give candy bouquets if it is known that the teacher does not eat sweets or watches his figure.
  • Homemade jewelry is a gift for friends or relatives. A bracelet made of rubber bands given to a teacher will put her in an awkward position: out of politeness, the gift must be worn, and such an accessory is unlikely to be in harmony with the appearance and image of the teacher.

Making a gift for a teacher for International Women's Day is a responsible task. For it to be appropriate, it is advisable to take into account the woman’s hobbies and preferences. But the most important thing is that the gift must be made with soul. After all, the main gift for a teacher is the attention and respect with which his students treat him, and souvenirs are only confirmation of this.
