These measurements are taken while standing, wearing a properly fitting bra.

First measurement: we place the measuring tape at the back along the lower edge of the bra, and in front a little overestimating, as if putting the tape on the chest (see picture). We translate the result into inches by dividing by 2.54. Suppose we got 93 cm, divide by 2.54 and get 36.6. This is the length of the bra band.

We need the second measurement to determine the cup size. The measurement is taken on the most protruding part of the chest. Let's say we got 96 cm (in inches 37.8). To determine the size of the cup, subtract the first measurement from the second (in inches) and look at the table of values: 37.8-36.6 = 1.2

According to the table, we see that we have cup A. Conclusion: according to the inch calculation, we got size 36A.
